TDP taking away any plausible deniability or "this isn't on you" that Callum could've had in using dark magic by 1) removing the taint and thereby control Aaravos had on him from his first usage where he didn't know the consequences and 2) that if he uses it a third time it'll reopen that connection back up fully (whereas in 5x08 he was tainted regardless) just to hammer in "He's going to do it again with Full Awareness of every single thing on the line and Choose to do it Again, even he knows it will Automatically lead to total corruption and possession" already would've checked off all my preferred boxes for how that plotline could potentially go and been more than enough to satisfy all my remaining Snake Boi Callum needs, but no. They just had to drop in Rayla going "If you ever have to choose between me or the greater good, do the right thing. Sacrifice me" meaning that Callum will absolutely be sacrificing the greater good for her in future seasons, because TDP loves Me, personally

on a note to all: my plotting style is something i like to call i have adhd and if i see you on the dash and have an idea chances are i’ll im you about it. i’m an anxious little dude who isn’t always active in a broad scope, and it’s always been my nature to reach out to people. that doesn’t make me even remotely anxious. not even remotely expected to answer me — i totally get it, sometimes you don’t feel the vibe — but a general psa about how i work. i come from the dinosaur era where the only way to communicate with one another on any level was to directly talk to them and frankly i don’t even know how else you’re ever supposed to plot with a person otherwise. like… how do you write if you never talk????

point in michael's timeline that i don't touch on enough? right after he got scooped. not the time he was piloted by ennard ( though i've always wanted to try writing that too tbh ), but after he regains control, wakes up on the sidewalk, fully realizes he survived and sees himself for the first time. i've written him having dealt with it for decades and being used to it so often but not as much the HORROR of when he had to grow accustomed to it. before he developed his tactics for hiding his appearance and the lies that eventually become secondhand nature. when the wounds of losing the life he got so close to having, his autonomy, feeling used/betrayed, and not being sure how human he is anymore are all fresh

every waking second i'm fighting a battle with the feminine urge to just write a series of one-shots where sb from another universe shows up at the diner (like lego.las or ric.k grimes just showing up and being so damn confused bc where are the ORCS--) and the diner squad get to deal with the residual trauma and uncertainty, the kids want to see how heavy the bow is, bella insists she can hook rick up with a few designer boutiques for some beard oil, like it's just pure chaos and getting back to the insanity we once LOVED in the rpc--

okay i am making a wishlist of ideal mikey threads for Reasons

-i already mentioned this one recently, but members in toman learning about the things mikey's been hiding. generally cracking him open like a walnut, etc. preferably with lots of emotional vulnerability from mikey's side

- similarly to the above, threads set in the final arc timeline with members of toman. like that specific time period where mikey's trying to make everyone hate him, and they don't know wtf he's doing. nice.

- something related to mikey's frustrations with his lack of agency & feeling useless/a burden due to the dark impulses and being unable to help his friends??this would work well with a takemichi who he could openly discuss things with, but i'd be interested to see how it could work with other characters too. i don't have ideas for that yet unfortunately tho

okay i don't know why tumblr suddenly insisted on adding bullet points but. sanzu and mikey threads!! especially where sanzu knows exactly what's going on with mikey but mikey himself doesn't. i love that shit.

the problem with a lot of these is that they require specific characters to work, so i also want to think of ideas that aren't centered on toman. maybe something with post-canon mikey using his knowledge from the future to understand someone in a way they wouldn't expect?? or maybe... him being forced to go to someone for help with something?? idk. i'll update this post with more non-toman threads in a bit, i think...

That would be fantastic! Khare is in dire need of more friends and Ava would be such a good one to have! Being so sweet and friendly, Ava's vibes are just the sort that Khare can feel chill around and it doesn't hurt that she's got a career in Paleontology also. Khare LOVES dinosaurs and anything prehistoric, it's so interesting to her so it's quite apt that these two who can find it hard to break out of their shells (haha) can end up being very good friends? Khare would definitely look into new recipes for Ava to try (including her favourite fried crickets!)

aisling developing immortal friendships is smth i seriously want to explore bc like. imagine the softness ofc but also the hilarity of "i know a guy" and it turns out she meant like a greek god or smth, but she's been Immortalised now so it's like. between her just not knowing that poseidon is a fecking GOD and the gods being like "well she's gonna be here for a while so we might as well know her name", like this uneducated young woman is just introducing her kids to gods and vampires and deities like "yeah this is dracula, who still owes me ten dollars" "you're not stuck for cash, AISLING, owning property in transylvania is fucking DIFFICULT"
