I FORGOT TJE NEWER PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE GROCERY STORE SPIDER

okay so for context: i have asthma! (not the 'has a rescue inhaler for gym class but will grow out of it' asthma most people have experience with, but 'i take extremely powerful steroids four times a day lest my lungs revolt against me and i die' asthma. at least i'm not one of the poor saps who needs regular injections or surgery)

i think everybody knows at least instinctually that people hunch forward to help when they're having issues breathing - but the opposite is also true! laying back is Not Good for weak lungs! and having an asthma attack while you're asleep can and will invade your dreams!

hence, my own personal nemesis, the Grocery Store Spider. it is a tarantula the size of a large dog that chases me through an endless backrooms-esque grocery store while i fail to get enough air to run or climb over displays and shelves with any amount of speed. in classic dream fashion i don't actually get to see what happens when it catches me, but i am inclined to believe it does this simply for the love of the game and not food. dick.

this is the only repetitive dream i've ever had, and also the closest i've ever been to lucid dreaming! (i wasn't in control of my actions, but i was thinking about how annoying it was about to be that i'd left my rescue inhaler on a different floor of the house. oops).

I'm assuming the question is about reoccurring dreams. Nothing specific, just a reoccurring topic of falling out with friends and losing them.

That... sounds really sad, but fr it's just the mental illnesses I think :) I love my friends and as far as I know they love me!
