its worse than i thought

theyre adding fees and charging us for things they didnt before. i cant understand most of it and my social worker hasnt been helpful with this situation. im going to dshs soon to look into my disability paperwork and to see if theres housing assistance options. but for now im. broken. by this. theres no one who can help us. theres no place for us to go. we have until the 31st. i dont know what else to do. i dont think we have the power to fight it. and if we agree, its another year of overpaying for shitty living conditions. i cant get a job. no one will hire a disabled trans woman even if i could go an interview without crying. i dont see a way out of this. i dont have any hope. no savings. no money. just this. my blog. my community.

Begging on my hands and knees for game devs to move away from the linguistic convention of "this ability/attack/effect/etc knocks the target up" to refer to something being launched vertically into the air. the pronunciation of gif debate was/is so bad like I've said this before but the "two sides" of "the debate" both agree with each other that a word "should" have one singular "correct pronunciation" and that alternate pronunciations are "wrong" no matter how widespread they are, which is an inherently regressive idea that should be seen as a red flag. but the theoretically uncontroversial idea that it's completely normal for a word to have multiple common pronunciations that are equally valid is either completely ignored or dismissed as "ruining the fun" or whatever

alright so i guess im going to a homeless shelter. i didnt get any donations since my last donation post on the 9th. i havent gotten any call backs for the couple dozen applications i sent out. I'm using the last of my finances to get to the shelter and get some paperwork in order, hopefully from there I'll have an easier time finding work that can accommodate my disability.

donations from here on will go to my phone bill, my insurance payment, and my meds. if things go well, i might even be able to get back on hrt this year.
