JAW DROPPED, TIME STOPPED being insecure all her life and wanting to live up to the expectations to her dad just to have that sliver of attention from him, that sentence gives us a glimpse on how little she felt despite being accomplished, rather successful actually because she always cleans her boss’ mess have a lot of baggage to unpack. and when the secret was confirmed, her anger rejects all of the entity that ties with her past because both her parents deprived her for the things she was supposed to have– becoming greedy to fulfill those. then eventually, somehow, going back to her roots aka being humble after having the talk with her dad. As most of her insecurity started because of him and how she had to be the bigger person for his other family, clearing out the misunderstanding between them brought a sense of peace while she’s settling in the restless turn of events.

and with our main man gojo, this guy, it is not wise to- 😤😤 how can you say you’re engaged after doing the body tango huh? esp when you said you want y/n to be your wife? oh gee and the revelation of his past relationship with mia and how he sees her in y/n is so fucked up. can’t help but think that satoru wanting to marry and be this lovey-dovey with y/n is just him reliving the moments that mia never gave him in the past. and y/n accepting that their current relationship is based on how they’re filling up the cracks in their needs and settling for the sake of familiarity. imagine how deep in love our girl is to keep satoru in her life 💔 im still in it for the second lead agenda

oh and there is this one scene in chp7 that reminded me of the recent korean movie i watched i dont wanna say it in case you wanna check it out its called sweet and sour and oh god idk why but watching it, mind keeps on prompting your fics 😬😬 maybe bcos i some of your fic always had med related topics and the main actress role there is a nurse. i remember that you’re on your clinic training so maybe thats why 😳oohh pls don’t forget to take breaks and be safe heart and oh ur a psych major too? oh wow hi ig in relation to one actress in the sweet and sour fic, she was also in a kdrama the heirs- which was popular at the time with it being packed with some solid household actors and actresses. sky castle tho, ig it relates to the theme of reckless more because its mostly how parents from the upper class will mindlessly destroy someone’s life to attain their materialistic desires 🤧🙂

y/n becomes a real baddie when she’s pissed off 😫

hmm y/n wasn’t really working hard for her dad’s attention, it was more like she felt so left out and unwanted (she feels unwanted wherever she goes) that she just decided to pack up and support them from afar bcos to her, she’s so alienated in her dad’s family that she felt like she had to work hard to earn a spot in their table. she knows she’s the outsider but she wants to feel like she can be part of them, that she is also a child deserving of love and care, but becos her stepmom focused more on her actual kids and her own dad was too busy with his new family now, it made y/n feel that she had to do something to be worthy of that.

that’s why most of the money she made working in tokyo was still wired to her family; she put her brothers in school and supported them, all because she hoped it would make them accept her more. now, things are different because she finally found her biological family, but even if valeria and co. still don’t want her, y/n is now more focusing on building something that’s truly hers that no one can take away. yes yes, she did become greedy, but more for power than of acceptance. she got to a point she doesn’t care as much vying for her parents’ approval and now thinks her luxury gives her comfort; only because at least she has that much. like she said in the latest chapter, happiness was not what she needed, it was stability and money - all things she lacked before.

and yea she did go back to her roots! all of her issues started with her dad anyway but that part is slowly patching up 🩹💔 oooh actually your theory is right bestie 🧐 gojo found y/n interesting bcos she reminded him of mia, so the more she pushed him away, the more he’s like wait, i’ve been here before, let’s not repeat past mistakes but i can do better now. on the part where gojo talked to mia while she was asleep, notice how he said he’s given a second chance to do better now, all because he couldn’t do them with mia but he could with y/n.

ohhh actually y/n was the one who established that ‘fulfilling mutual need and settling for familiarity instead of being lonely’ type of relationship. gojo avoided her for weeks and he’s pretty settled in keeping his distance, but she was the one who sought him out. deep down, y/n is afraid if she doesn’t at least use him as an anchor to her more humble roots, then she might spiral out of control and end up like valeria, thus using him as a ‘distraction’ but in reality, she needs his comfort to be grounded.

HIS PEN SPIN HELPPP WHY COULDN’T HE JUST BEEN OUR BABY DADDY 😫 he pulls them fast spins bcos he’s nervous btw HAHAHAHA y/n can be quite intimidating and lawyer! naoya is sometimes too precious.

celebrity chef! sukuna is MEAN! he was pictured after gordon ramsay so lmao. omgggg sukuna being famous not only for his food but also his handsomeness 😳 he gets so cocky over how no one can get in his level while popping a battle of champagne, listening to ‘careless whisper’ while dancing to his reflection in the mirror 😤

also yoo supermodel! choso is THE hot shit 🥵 he’s so famous his schedule is packed for an entire year and a half and those are just for very selected brands and designers! ugh imagine going to work on the subway when you see supermodel! choso with rbf posing sexily and you swoon because he’s so sexy. plot twist that choso doesn’t know how to drive bcos as a kamo family member, they grew up with drivers taking them to and fro, so when his driver got sick and everyone else was busy, supermodel choso takes the subway himself and hides behind a face mask and cap while still wearing extravagant clothes that makes him stand out more. he does not have ‘subtle’ on his book at all.

and yeah people say he’s intimidating but its more his height and build + rbf! in reality, he’s just as soft and sweet as naoya, but both of them go into protective mode when someone they care about is being crapped on. and boy when they DO get into “what did you just say?” mode, better run away 🏃🏻‍♀️ supermodel! choso is also an heir to the kamo empire though not after the business, but he still has enough power to take you down in a second.

meanwhile, lawyer! naoya didn’t become this successful without being so savage yet composed he makes you question your entire existence before he drags you to court. lawyer! naoya is so scarily convincing that he can make you plead guilty even tho you did nothing wrong 💀

aaaah omg supermodel! choso LOVES babies actually! as the eldest child who looked after his brothers bcos the kamo parents are always away for work, being a father figure is so natural to him. i can picture him being the one who cries harder than gojo if the baby is born bcos he’s so excited, then reads poems to the baby before sighing that childbirth is such a beautiful thing 🥺

omg i know sweet n sour, the actresses are one of my faves tho i haven’t watched it yet! oooh they’re a nurse? i didn’t know that 🧐 i actually finish my short training in a week so i’ll be heading on to heavy majoring in psychology! wait bestie are YOU also a psych major 😳💕 oh and i see i see, sky castle *jots that down for future references* reckless actually has lots of significance in terms of the parents’ roles so i’m excited to see that! and aww thank you so much, can’t believe i made it in someone’s top three 🥺💕

- is heartbreaking how Mia found out. I’m wondering if maybe she’ll be hurt but understand??? She’s a 15-16 year old smart girl. At that age i def saw cases like this and it always ends with the straight partners supporting the gay ones. Hell, a case EXACTLY like this happened my freshman year of HS. These really popular girl started dating this new kid and she was obsessed with him lowkey?? They broke up bc he came out and she was the most supportive. I understand she’s hurt bc he cheated, but i hope she listens to him and tries to understand like how hard it is for queer kids and how confused he was? Is heartbreaking bc he truly cares for her and im sure right she thinks he doesn’t and just used her. But i hope she’s willing to listen. As a queer person, I honestly understand all the shit Victor has done. Is not the best way to do it. But I don’t feel angry at him. I get it.

S2 thoughts:

- okay well a lot of truth bombs. I truly think separating was the right choice to get them back together in a healthy manner. That is if they don’t date other people. Roger will most likely make a comeback. She will most likely date him. Maybe she’ll realize what a shit bag he is when he does/says something dumb and realize Armando is it for her??? I hope at least i do wanna root for them

- im so proud of Victor🥺🥺 he told everything to Benji, and came to out Felix + his family. Ik things will be hard with Mia at first, and Andrew is still no saint so he might be a dick to him on the team once he is out (or might defend him) but at least they know too. I saw the writers saying s2 will be now about Benji and Victor learning to be in a relationship and Victor’s environment changing. Benji and him will def struggle in the department that Victor is still learning how to openly be himself and let himself be seen versus Benji already having dealt with that before. So it will prob be hard for Benji too. It’s exciting tho and i hope despite everything s2 is kind to them.

- backetball will be hard for Victor without a doubt. I really hope Bram and Simon come for holidays or something and we get to see them again. Maybe even meet Benji or Felix too that would be so🥺🥺🥺

- can’t tell how the parents will react. Ik he won’t be kicked out and certain things will he hard bc s2 is gonna be about them working it out for sure, but I can’t tell if at first they’ll go in complete denial or will just quietly ignore it or fully pretend to be supportive while they aren’t. I hope s2 shows us the end of that scene and how the reactions went and not just a time jump. We will most likely start with a time jump but i hope the first ep of s2 shows us the reaction through a flashback.

Overall: amazing actors. Really good writing. These were realistic characters who make dumb realistic choices and are heartfelt and down to earth. All the actors are amazing and bring so much to the table. The writing is great dropping small hints for things to come without it being screamed at your face so you aren’t surprised 100% by certain choices but also not completely expected. And it’s honest about teens’ journeys at that age with appropriate age actors (except for Andrew I haven’t looked at his age but motherfucker looks older then ME lmao). I can’t WAIT for s2 and again, leaving it to existence so it happens: LET SIMON AND BRAM HAVE A LIL EP WITH VICTOR AGAIN IN S2!!!!!!

mcu spiderman rewrite/au i may or may not do

ok so first quick disclaimer! i do not hate the mcu spider man movies in any way!! i actually enjoy them quite a bit and have seen homecoming like 4 times! and i absolutely adore all the actors in the movies, especially tom, zendaya, and jacob

but the problem w/ the mcu spiderman movies is,,, they’re just not spiderman. at least from a writing/thematic perspective, which sucks bc so much other stuff about them is great! like tom holland is the perfect peter parker, which is why it seems so close to being right, but with the way the script is actually written... it’s just. not spider-man.

i feel the need to explain all this/my problems w/ the movies b4 i get into the actuall au idea/plot, so please bear with me for a sec

for context, I’ve loved spiderman my whole life. i’d watch the cartoons when i was younger, and then went back and watched them all again when i was a bit older and figured out how to pirate stuff lol. i didn’t really know how to get into the comics, so i just kinda read wikis and got second-hand info from fanfics and the other movies

to me, spiderman, (at least, peter parker spiderman,) was always about like... a kid, who saw the world was broken and fixed it because he could. he had the power to fix stuff, so he did.

as a kid w/ mental illness and a not so great home life... that was something really really important to me. to see another kid out there, who’s been through some shit, but finally has the power to make stuff better, so he is! and it would make me think, maybe i can change stuff for the better, someday, if i just get my chance

but,,,,, the problem is mcu peter parker isn’t that.

instead of becoming spiderman bc he knows there’s bad in the world and wants to fix it, suddenly his motivation is impressing tony stark?? and don’t get me wrong i don’t hate tony, but the way they wrote his and peter’s relationship basically trapped peter. he could no longer be his own hero, bc he was tony’s successor. and that's never who peter parker’s spiderman was?? he was never a follower, he was a trendsetter. he didn’t become spiderman for approval, hell he had dozens of newspapers constantly slandering him.

honestly the following in someone else’s footsteps thing was always a miles morales thing. he had to step up to the plate and fill the shoes of a spiderman who had already existed for years and was beloved by the whole city. obviously thats not all he is and simplifying his character to that is incredibly obtuse, but i bring it up bc tbh alot of stuff w/ mcu peter parker is just straight-up ripped off from miles morales. like how peter now goes to a fancy private school, is no longer poor (which is a huge thing w/ peter parker’s character in like every other incarnation), has a living father figure, and is bffs w/ ned, who is a straight-up rip off of miles’s best friend ganke. (for the record tho i adore ned and jacob i’m def keeping him in my rewrite,,,, also i’m glad he’s in the movie bc having a plus sized poc protagonist thats not constantly mocked is incredible)

so, i’m complaining about all this stuff lol but ur probably wondering how exactly how i wanna fix it lol,,,,

first, give peter an arc thats more than just..... i want tony to believe in me. my idea for that is basically a type of thing where he learns to rely on others! bc like... peter isn’t good at working w/ others lol, he’d much rather do it all himself so no one else gets hurt. (like in the andrew garfield movies where he just,,,, webs his gf to a car so she can’t run into danger lmao)

the plot would start at a similar ish position to homecoming, though tony never recruits peter for civil war. tbh not sure if it even happened but we’ll disscuss that later

peter’s been spiderman for a few months, after a trip to oscorp left him w/ a radioactive spider bite. currently no one knows about it, and he’s doing a pretty ok job of dealing w/ everything on his own. until he takes down a big bad, lets say rhino for now, and gains a ton of publicity. after stooping a hudge disaster he’s suddenly in the limelight, and catches the attention of one norman osborn, aka the green goblin

now, quick sidenote. green goblin is genreally seen as pretty goofy, but there are comic versions of him that are legit terrifying. if im being honest i didn’t even know about that version until i read aloneintherains fic birds eating other birds so ig thats kinda ish how i’m imagining this version of norman? though alot more composed, like the man who could someday turn into that

so norman becomes intrested in my boy peter, and starts sending ppl after him. possibly the sinister 6, but uhh maybe not bc tbh i think this “rewrite” needs to be split into 2 “movies”/works and i might wanna save that for the hypothetical pt2 (btw if i write this it won’t b for a while cause i got other stuff going on but ig if ppl are intrested i might write some snippits/make more content for it)

so basically the main plot is peter dealing w/ all these big bads on his own, doing ok at first but later getting really fucked up, and eventually revealing himself to ned and mj which ends up being the only way he can save the day in the end. by relying on others! yay!!

thats it for the main plot, but don’t worry y’all we got other stuff going on too lmao

so, for one. my boy peter is realizing he has a crush and just,,,, freaking tf out. (i have yet to decide if it’s on ned or mj. or both. sue me) the crush isn’t definitely resolved in p1, but i imagine there’d be some cute thing of him suddenly realizing and freaking out and almost revealing his powers.

thing 2! tony stark! he is still in here, and still a mentor to peter, but in a pretty drastically different way. one, he doesn't know about peter being spiderman. he doesn't even suspect it lmao. he just gets involved bc of.... some sort of reason bc peter is so smart. do i know why just yet? no. does it matter? probably but i’m writing this pretty late after i had school all day so i’m too tired to care

bc tony basically gives peter a real internship/mentorship type thing, peter now has access to all this tech!! and all these funds!! fucking lit!! so he changes from his pajama suit to the fancy one, tho he actually built it!! which i feel like him making his suit is a really big really important part of his character. so it doesn't really have all those random things tony added, tho peter might add stuff himself. he gets Karan as a like assistant ai as part of his internship but she never gets put into the suit

for the fist part tony plays a super minor role but like,,,, the first part is about osborn taking an intrest in him, and him confiding in ned and mj. the second part norman is become progressively more dangorus and peter has to fight him and stuff, kinda proving he is strong enough to be spiderman/be trusted to the whole world, beyond just ned and mj. also him actually getting together w/ either one or both of them bc...... bc i want that.

oh btw idk if tony finds out or not in p2? if he does it’s either at the end or in a scene like the one w/ may bc like. please imagine the shenanigans of peter and ned (who both have high intellegence but low wisdom) in tony’s lab, obviously trying to hide the fact that peter’s spiderman. like he walks in on them and peter looks all frumpy bc he’s been trying to change real fast, and ned’s shirt is messed up bc he just stuffed the mask down the front of it, and mj is just. chilling behing them. so tony just like assumes stuff and is like....aight.... have fun....

oh btw the last big change that i didn’t really have anyway to insert natrually into this,,,, so remember how i said ned was kinda a ripoff of ganke? well, the writers claim he’s a “composite character” so i figured, why not give him traits from other famous spiderman side character so he actually is a composite character!

so like,,,, throughout p1 it’s referenced that ned has a kinda dickish estranged ish dad that he hates and his mom doesn't really like but kinda forces him too... theres some mentions of his dad wanting him to transfer to a private school and being kinda rich, bur he dosen’t want to bc he knows his dad is a total dickead,,,, anyway end of the movie we find out norman osborn is ned’s dad, and ned hates him even fucking more bc it’s like bitch?? u tried to get my (maybe) bf murdered?? tf?? and its lowkey bc he can’t reveal peter’s id, but then in p2 after norman takes matters into his own hands and tries to kill peter on his own ned just fucking yells at him while the man is in jail and is like fuck u lmao

soooo thats my really messy au idea!! i’m really tired sorry if this is hard to understand or rude! for the record i have nothing against the ppl who adore these movie’s, i just think they could be better!

alright whats up guys, as jd once said, greetings and salutations!! im y and this here is julian, who i’ve known for two hours but adore already anyway. i usually play dumbass boys and he’s no exception, but i like to think he might just be a little less dumb than the rest of them. so lets jump into it!!! ♡

for starters here is his messy pinterest board that i made.. like i said... it is a mess, and still a work in progress but y’all can have it anyway!! (fun fact: was gonna make him texan but pepper called him country boy and i was triggered!!!!!!!!!!)

backstory:

julian was the conception of two teenagers in love during the 90′s in spain; a local and a tourist. the pair were just seventeen when they became parents but it was a whole ordeal at the time because his father’s side of the family did not want anything to do with this impregnated nobody. it wasn’t his grandfather’s vision!!! his son was supposed to go into adulthood unscathed by his mistakes!!! as you can guess julian’s mom side of the family were your blue-collared society while his father’s side was more white-collared. at the time his mother was a student and helped her own mom with the family tailor shop while her father worked as a cook in a restaurant. on the other end of the spectrum, the kinney’s were in the film industry and of old money. needless to say, the two families had little in common.

the kinney’s tried to pay this girl off but her family was 100% not having it and after many arguments and empty threats they came to an agreement. said agreement was that julian would have his rightful surname and would stay in spain and the family would receive a weekly stipend for his expenses. in return no one would say a thing to the press— which, honestly was only ever a threat because the kinney’s wanted to pretend like nothing had happened.

and so julian grew up in madrid with a single mother and the help of his grandparents. as far as he knew his father had died shortly after he had been born and had been madly in love with his mother (that part was true). the only reason he didn’t share a name with the rest of his family was because the pair had never married, which, would have been the truth regardless. everything was fine; he grew up working at the family shop, attended school, skipped school, maintained amazing grades while simultaneously spending 1/3rd of the time in detention, lost his virginity to marisol cordova in her lilac colored room, etc. he had the most basic upbringing a kid could have.

then his father died. his real father. and suddenly, on paper, he was well off. it wasn’t easy for his mother to tell him the truth when his grandfather stepped foot into the one story home like he had seventeen years ago with that sour look on his face, but she was forced to. she had no other choice. devastated as she was (and she was truly heartbroken), she told him the story of how one day during the summer of 96′ she met james kinney, and how the next year he came back. then, his grandfather informed him of his father’s will and how he’d have access to his inheritance once he turned eighteen.

it was... a lot to process, and as julian does when he feels overwhelmed, he got angry. he was very upset with his mother and even more so with this old man he was meeting for the first time who kept calling him shit like ‘his only grandson’ and ‘a kinney by blood’. it was infuriating for julian, and his mother further telling him about their weekly allowance among other expenses over the years did not help. at all.

that is how julian found out his father was a successful actor turned director, generally known for an action packed franchise released in the 2000′s. it was mind boggling— he’d turn on the tv only to see a picture of his now dead father on screen, news coverage of the deadly car accident that occurred during en route to manchester on every channel. it just didn’t make any sense and was very hard to feel sad for. besides, his mother had enough sadness for the both of them. at his funeral, the two had to stay in the back while the family tried to come up with a game plan of how things were going to move forward; james’ widow was not happy to see her husbands former lover and child at the scene.

anyways in spite the fact that julian wanted nothing to do with the kinney’s, his grandfather had other plans. a vision of his own for the only grandchild his son had brought into the world, and that started with schooling. julian graduated and had no plans for college until his grandfather threatened to contest the will if he chose to stray from the path, and they needed the money; so college it was. a college of his grandfather’s choice of course, and what better place than somewhere closed off enough to distance julian from the outer world but elite in its own right?

his grandfather’s plan basically is to make him successful, and being that julian has no interest in their world, he’s had to compromise and just live with the fact that julian is just going to be your regular everyday man. he’s only really doing all of this because he feels guilt over the years but not guilty enough to tell the world that there’s an extra kinney lying around (last names are so common right!?!??!) . however, he still wants him to be in the family. as in everyone in the direct family knows of him and he gets to be involved in all family affairs, etc, but julian just does not give a fuck about them fksdhjfs specially because of how they fucked over his mom and how james’ widow is so fucking bitter about the will.

ANYWAYS he’s been at the school for four years now, gets his schooling paid by his grandfather but still has a job because pride or whatever, and will hack into your shit!

personality/hc’s

i love him, he’s sweet but also not annoyingly sweet. as in yeah he’s nice and polite but has no problem squaring up due to his short temper. kind of blunt sometimes though, and either is dumb or acts dumb if he says something that might hurt someones feelings. like oh.. sorry you feel that way ksjfsdkln

super smart???? has amazing grades and constantly does his work; knows how to multitask and balance his life out (for the most part... at least until he burns himself out). an intellectual™ . not an eboy but i guess u could say a little bit of a gamer,, has tik tok downloaded on his phone, the dad friend i guess

is either in one end of the spectrum or the other when it comes to socializing. most of the time though he finds it exhausting,, talking is hard but once he does start talking it’s like shut up dude no one cares about javascript

has a small pill problem,, he’s got to be successful somehow right !! also drinks lots of coffee and is a fan of coffee creamer, does not like the strawberry shortcake creamer though because ew. only tea he will drink is matcha green tea, anything else can suck it.

has also developed some ~anxious~ feelings , why ? idk, light trauma i guess. his pill usage sure doesn’t help though! loser! ... tbh maybe his anxiousness has grown over the years because he doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do after school like he has money (that he tries not to use if i’m being honest, would rather use the money he gains from his job which i haven’t decided what should be. leave me alone), and will have a degree, but he’s still just questioning everything?? things have just been weird

sometime during middle school years (idk whats the equivalent of this in spain, shut up) he got into computers and... i’m not proud of this but his first hack was into this girls account that he liked and bro all he wanted to do was see some titties man thats it i promise. that crush did not work out, obvs.

anyways yes he continued down this computer path and made an app during high school!!! it wasn’t successful at all and he eventually deleted it but good for him coding and shit!!!

would hack into school systems to help out his buds and their grades. yeah they could have just copied off of him but... where is the fun in that lads

sometime he be just looking up ‘james kinney interviews’ on youtube just to see who this dude was dshjkg poor lad

IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!

There were so many women!!!! women everywhere!! badass female warriors, strong female politicians, baby tech genius shuri!!!!! women can be different things and all still be fleshed out strong characters!!!! its like women are really people too!!!!!! I'm not sure if it was a bechdel test pass (actually I think it wasn’t) but honestly?? doesn't really bother me because it was almost like, you know, women exist and not just to be ur relationship eye-candy sexpot, and also take up half the population!!! a m a z i n g, I love women.

T’challa is wonderful, absolutely incredible. real emotional conflict over his father’s actions, over having to kill his cousin, over Wakanda’s isolationism. a badass, but also a dork around people he cares about. trying so. hard. to do what's best for his people. finding a balance between helping and becoming what he and the rest of his people abhor. fantastic, 8/10 because?? almost too perfect. I'm just kidding, there’s no such thing, its a 10/10.

shuri is the genius-teenaged-brother-dragger-memelord I was promised. combines love of her people with a disregard for their traditions, which causes political tension with other important figures in her country, a fantastic subplot. but! that moment when she calls for her ancestors with her mother and Nakia shows she still has respect and faith for the core of their beliefs, despite being a modernist/futurist/teenager. a good balance. two-thumbs up.

Nakia serves her country and her fellow women/people so beautifully I wanted to cry a little bit. the opening scene?? her mission??? phenomenal. yes, she is a love interest a little bit, but u know what? she’s also her own person, with her own beliefs, and they wrote her very well. would I have liked to see more of her being her own person? yes, but this isn’t a movie about her, its a movie about t’challa, so thats not necessarily a critique of the movie, just some vague needs fanfic can fix.

(is it possible to overstate how much I like the amount of women in this film?? no it is not. the previous record-holder, Thor, at a grand total of four (4) women has been blown out of the water. suck it, marvel, I'm gonna hold every other movie you make from this point on to this standard. this many women, minimum, in every movie)

Okoye!! my fav. badass. hardass. is married/with someone pretty solidly, but its a footnote on her backstory/exposition until that rhino stops and she gives W’Kabi a fucking l o o k. (damn is he gonna get it. I kinda wanna be a fly on the wall for that conversation. for the angst and the put-down). The duty-bound warrior who has to choose between personal feelings, what is right, and what is tradition. She fills the trope very well, and leads her squad of women(!!) admirably. there’s real conflict in her decisions that you can see, viscerally, in her eyes. as you all know, I am here for the emotions.

(okay another word about the women. there’s a moment, in the final big battle, where there’s a woman who shows up; she’s one of the Jabari warriors, there to kick ass, and I just...appreciated that there were women there who were devoid of emotional meaning to the main characters, and outside of the Designated All-Woman Group™. she had her teeth bared and she was in the full warrior get-up it was a moment.)

Ramonda seems pretty awesome, ngl. Classy older women are my jam.

ERIK KILLMONGER! Killing it up in here with these visceral criticisms of colonial culture, the slave trade, global racism and politics. here to start the fucking revolution. he’s so angry!!! angry is my favorite type of character. loves his father, tries to love wakanda for his sake, but in the end sees it mostly as a tool to meet his own ends. great character, I wish they hadn't killed him but damn!! what a way to go out! that quote, man, imma put it here because I love it so much. it speaks to his entire character in a way I don’t think I can:

“Bury me in the ocean with my ancestors that jumped from the ships because they knew death was better than bondage”

he got his wakandan sunset with his cousin and I...enjoyed it so much.

m’baku was really good. I think he was my favorite character from the political plot line. yes he has legitimate criticisms of those in power, who he took direct action to try and stop, but he’s also a really solid dude who will do the right thing for his people, and wakanda as a whole. (t’challa still totally owes him one, tho). I’m not even sure why I like him so much, just that I really...really do. maybe it was the vegetarian joke. maybe it was promising ramonda would be safe and t’challa trusting his word absolutely. maybe it was the last minute rescue. ......(it was probably the vegetarian joke)

not too much Martin freeman, just enough to drive the plot foreword and prove Nakia’s point for her. a solid, confused dude, following the orders of the teenaged-girl genius.

One moment I loved was when Klaue brought up el dorado?? the incorporation of real myths into their world building was another moment I loved, and it makes so much sense!!! the fantastic rich future city, it was in Africa the whole time. excuse me while my world building-loving self cries in the corner.

You’ll notice there’s a lot here about the characters, and thats because they were my favorite part. If I have any criticisms of the movie (and I do. gentle ones, but they exist) its that the plot was a little...easy. Don’t get me wrong, the emotions these actors infused it with made it worth the watch. But the plot was a little...”meh? okay. yeah, I can see that.” you know? it missed some of the foreword drive present in the best mcu movies.

they focused a lot on world building, which didn't help their plot problem. the world building was necessary, don't get me wrong. and god, what a world to build!! but still.

obviously, being, as mylordshesacactus puts it, “whiter than drywall”, I’m not the right person to speak to representation in this movie beyond the general female aspect (which. I think I've made my point about). but from what everyone who is the right person is saying, its amazing, so.

Does this make my top ten marvel movies? absolutely. my top five? maybe. I’ll have to see it again before I can know for sure.

lay - i… honestly to god…. dont know him well. ive never seen his chinese variety and he isnt as present in their korean variety because of the language barrier, but nonetheless he is an extremely talented and hardworking man. not only is he a talented dancer and vocalist, he works very hard at writing his own music, once lost his usb drive with all his work so he redid it all..

chanyeol - is allergic to both cats and dogs and Yet gropes every one that comes in a 100ft radius to him, so if that doesnt tell you what kinda man he is idk what does. google “chanyeol ferret” for the best google search of ur life. used to be part of a ferret loving club. also writes music, had more than one vlive in which he would eat mcdonalds at 2am in his music studio. the kinda dude who hits too hard when laughs but also falls on the floor n is the last one to let the joke go when everyone else stopped already

kyungsoo - hes.. interesting.. loves to cook loves his mom. with his teammates he can jokingly punch/pinch/kick them but with a romantic interest hed be the opposite i feel. AMAZING actor (pure love, its okay its love r my faves of his). hates when fans call him by his real name so i deduce he wants to keep his private life away from his public one. the kind to hang out in fancy suits with his actor friends after watching anime in his bed for a week. husband material

kai - second youngest. imo? silly kid.. like the boy next door kinda vibe. will cheese if sees a pupper and b very sweet and gentle with it. can b very thoughtful. turns into pure talent when onstage… hes lonely i remember him saying that. that he doesnt have a lot of friends to hang out with

sehun - maknae. with his hyungs he will be this spoiled brat persona, but honestly sehun is the one holding exo together no joke. hes sosoooosoos hardworking the boy spent nights learning basic mandarin and japanese (with suhos help) for promotions and was super proud to show it off. also is a very very hard worker when it comes to dancing. but. honestly i tried watching his vlives and exomentaries the boys boring as a sandwich bag. like he rlly needs an entourage to be more interesting cos thats when he starts sassing the mmbrs n all that. would die for exo. super close with suho

suho - i used to be hardcore into him for more than a year so ive got a lot to say. social butterfly. doesnt have an insta and yet appears on everyone else’s hangin out with them. leader. any mess u hear abt $uho??? forget it.. the boy’s been talking about refunds for stuff he bought on at least 4 different occasions. he’s sweet n shy n talented. thats of the nicer traits. from the worse one hes app not v clean in his dorms .__.// also can b v Specific n Annoying abt lil things like they told a story of how suho would hate anyone touching his bag in the dance studio so baekhyun would purposefully sit on it lmao. does indeed make a lot of dad jokes n jus wants ppl to laugh at them :( a lil bit of a health freak like would eat salads constantly n not eat yummy foods

So the CS wedding is finally happening .. I binged watched OUAT before S6 so I didn't get to spend much time in the fandom so I thought it'll be fun to relive CS moments with CSers who were there from the start! When/how/why did you know that CS was the ship for you? What are your top three romantic CS scenes? What are you top three angsty CS scenes? What are your top 3 CS kisses? What is your most memorable CS related fandom moment? What is one thing you would still like to see happen with CS?

Wow, can you believe I’m just now seeing this? I am so sorry.

1. When/how/why did you know that CS was the ship for you?

I’d say it was Colin and Jennifer’s chemistry overall. I’ve never seen anything like it. I don’t mean that in a shipper way, just that they’re such talented actors to where it doesn’t even seem like you’re watching a fictional show. I’ve just never gotten that feeling before. I also think it was how well their characters could relate to one another. They both were brought up in such sad circumstances and they both lost love and deserved someone like one another to help each other grow. They just deserved to be loved and were naturally attracted to each other, so I just wanted them to find happiness in one another. I started watching the show right at the tail end of season 3 was airing. I remember when I finally got up to the end of season two, just knowing this ship would happen and googling when do hook and emma kiss? cause I couldn’t bare to wait any longer for them to be together. When they finally started to date, I didn’t even expect them to mesh together as well as they did, i didnt expect their scenes to be as good as what they were, everything about their relationship and the way it was written exceeded my expectations and was too good to be true. it was like fan fiction, better than the canon truth. I expected their relationship to be good, but God, it was glorious. There’s nothing like watching CS unravel for the first time. I imagine it’s exactly how Emma feels when she uses her magic.

2. What are your top three romantic CS scenes?

1. My top moment will always be the 5x21 reunion after ZEUS @#!$%^& SENT KILLIAN BACK TO EMMA CAUSE THEY AND I QUOTE “BELONG”ED TOGETHER, ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? The look in Emma’s eyes when she turns and sees him and when she runs to him and their giggles and kisses and the kisses Emma places on his cheek. I just…WOW. nothing can ever beat that scene.

2. I’d definitely say their entire first date. Killian was such a gentleman, and the fact that he actually got his hand back for Emma and she dIDN’T EVEN NOTICE IT CAUSE SHE JUST SEES KILLIAN AS KILLIAN - HER KILLIAN, TO BE QUITE @$!@^&* HONEST - AND NOT AS HOOK. The kiss was just so romantic and sexy and all the hand holding and holding in general and emma wearing his jacket and the flirting, and they both just looked SO good, and Emma looked so beautiful and refreshed, and they just focused on each other and blocked everything out and she was finally willing to open herself up to him and date him and find her happy ending. That was one of my all time favorite Emma looks by far.

3. when killian reads to emma her parents story from henry’s storybook to help her and give her more faith. “SHH SHH SHH ITS STORYTIME” like everything about that kills me. “true love can break any curse and so can you cause thats what you’re made of” “you can overcome these visions, you can overcome anything” and the sweet hand kiss and i just…omg. everything about it.

3. What are you top three angsty CS scenes?

1. My top angsty scene will always be their goodbye in 5x20. Like Killian crying just does it for me, honestly. I always bawl hysterically, and I might get blocked and judged by people for this, but I honestly think the way they opened up and said their goodbyes was better than their own wedding vows. Killian telling her “if i helped take off that armor don’t put it back on just because youre going to lose me” and emma telling him not to let her be his unfinished business and to move on from the underworld and be happy. Killian kissing Emma’s hand as shes going up also just ruins me to pieces. In fact, every little $%^#$%^$ thing Colin O’Donoghue improvises literally ruins my life and leaves me sobbing, and I’m so tired of it. I can’t even stand his ass anymore. I can’t even believe I run a tumblr blog dedicated to him.

2. The “break up”/fight from 6x14. “YOU COME TO ME HOOK, AND YOU LEAN ON ME, AND YOU TRUST ME” and when she gives him the ring back and oh my god. my heart and soul. colin and jen deserve all the awards. that entire time hook was seperated from her, and they both just hated it and wanted to make it better and couldnt and werent sure where each other was or what they were thinking, but killian still fought so hard to come home to her and when emma gave up hope and knew he wasnt coming home so she turned off the porch light i just :’( no baby girl he never left you he was kidnapped and trapped and tricked

3. i’m going to say the scene in 5x15 where emma heals killian. firstly “hades sort of knocked the handsome out of me” “no ones that powerful” okay 1. OMGGG 2. TRU!!! and when he’s hard on himself because of his actions when he was the dark one. “you gave into the darkness out of love, i plunged in head first in a second over revenge i was WEAK” “you raised the bar very high swan, and the fact is i dont measure up” and emmas like HO HO HO NO LISTEN

4. What are your top 3 CS kisses?

1. CS PANCAKES!!!!!! “something smells delicious … im not talking about the pancakes” “TO HELL WITH PANCAKES.” oh my god. do i need to explain why. i was as annoyed as killian when snow showed up, AND THAT LITTLE TONGUE TEASE ACTION AND KILLIAN LEANING BACK AND EMMA PRESSING HIM AGAINST THE TABLE UGH !!!! CS !!! DID !!! THAT !!!

2. the one dark ones kiss in the forest. u know the one. we all know the one. yes. that one. im saying this solely because of killian going “mmmMMMMMmmmMMMmmnnn” and trying to get more and god sTOP IT KILLIAN UHR TRAMATIZIN ME

3. 6x01 couch scene. they come back from the underworld, and they’re all happy and Emma’s 210% ready to open herself up and love him with no fears and work on their forever and that includes taking - or TRYING - to take that final step ;) ;)

ENOUGH %^$#^&* SAID.

i think these kisses says a lot about me as a person and a cs shipper. tbh. am i sorry? no.

5. What is your most memorable CS related fandom moment?

I honestly think it was a tie between the 5x20 separation and 5x21 reunion. Something about that time was just very positive for me and those are two of my all-time favorite CS moments. i’d also say all the friends i’ve made, like, kelsee, @badasslass and @ithinkyoushouldspeaknow .

6. What is one thing you would still like to see happen with CS?

I really want to see them have a baby, a girl to be exact. Like, I just, something about seeing these two raise a beautiful little girl together completes me. I have so many headcanons about it. I think 6x03 really fueled the fire with that one. Emma’s reaction to the way Killian was around Alexandra and SHE WANTS TO HAVE HIS BABIES OKAY I S2G GIVE THEM A CHILD LORDT KNOWS THEY NEED ONE. like i just also think because emma didnt really get to raise henry and hook made an effort with bagelfire they should have the chance again together. they’d be such exceptional parents.

REVIEW OF : YURI ON ICE

I should probably be guilty of watching this anime just a week before my exams but i am not.Hearing from friends and tumblr ofc that it is a yaoi anime,yuri on ice definitely made it to my watch list.And i wanted to wait untill summer vacation but my favourite anime reviewer Gigguk(please check out his youtube channel,he is awesome) had exaggerrated so much about how gay this anime is,i decided that i need some yaoi in the life.But what i saw was completely different from what i expected.

Yuri On Ice had me within the first 10 minutes of its first episode when i saw Yuri crying in the bathroom.As a high schooler i wouldn’t say i haven’t done that before more than once.When he was talking to his mom i thought his mom was being rude to him or something,but that outburst of tears was so genuiene,the feeling of disappointing everyone including yourself,and thats where Yuri had me.The japanese clearly know how to make their characters more human,it is these human emotions that most dramas and movies neglect to play the plot but this is where the director fails to make a connection with the audience no matter how good their actors are.Back to Yuri on ice,seeing that yuri has just an amazing family supporting him throughout was purely heartwarming,although i couldn’t connect with yuri on that note caz i personally have no family support but for someone as indecisive as him who doesn’t even have 1% confidence in himself,his supporters play such a vital role in his life which was evident throughout the show.Even if they didn’t get much screen time,they were alive as ever,because when u cant live for yourself u live for others.Also,when he met eyes with victor and victor thought he just wanted a photo,when u come this far only because of your idol and he fails to recognize u for your strenght and ability,its just like salt in the wound.When yuri went back to his hometown,its like starting fresh from someother again.Yuri not only pays tribute to those kids who want to grow up to be like their idol but also to those with low self esteem issues and failures,its as sporty as it can get.

Now coming down to Victor,i was so impressed by how foreign he looks and not just a regular gray haired anime guy.The detailing in each charcter was done to perfection!When victor moves his hands through the air,HIS HANDS ARE SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL THAT I WANT THEM INSIDE ME!He would soar in the ice like an angel without wings but the emotions attached with every movement was so lively,it is actually the best performance i have seen come from an anime.Then their is yurio,not your typical tsundere or 15 year old anime kid.That grit,the anger in his magficient green eyes,the lucious blonde hair and that precious smile he tries so hard to hide,everything just made this 15 year old evolve into a mature character the audience had to take seriously,who still had feelings of a 15 year old,but the boy had someting else,TALENT,not only hardwork and passion,but the fact that this boy was a masterpiece was transparent through his performances as he would glide on the ice like a swan.Plus he is a total fuckboy material and its so major cute that he loves his fans(well,sorta)and calls them angel!

All the other unique and distinct characters,they all had such different stories and backgrounds and their own reason of wanting to win.Its safe to say non of them seemed extra,but as significant as victor and yuri.They truely did depict fellowship and family.I usually am pretty pssessive about the anime guys i like,but this i am like”nah,i cant have yurio,he belongs to otabek!”With enough said i must add that the character development in yuri was pretty obvious as we all so his potential in the beginning and wanted him to keep doing better and better.What was expected was the development of relationship between the characters as they get involved with each and every one of the participants emotionally.The relationship of yuri and victor as a teacher and his student was absolutely beatufiul and so strong,and here is where i wanna comment about this anime being called yaoi.As someone who has watched hardcore yaoi before,i didn’t find this the typical yaoi material and thats a good thing!Ofcourse as a yaoi fan i ship victuuri ,but honestly,victuuri more than yaoi material,the relationship is extremely pure.Why? because victor got attached to both of his student emotionally and sacrificed his carreer to see his student suceed,thats love.Victor was all flirtly with yuri and seduction totally runs in his personality.Victor knowing that he is yuri’s idol,he played every one of his seduction cards to get yuri DOWN ON HIS KNEES(to suck his cock)!!*naah being a yaoi fan again* ........ to get yuri:where he belongs.I found this important to say that Yuri On Ice is not Yaoi on ice because i think the guys in the anime fandom are absolutely exaggerrating TOO MUCH about how gay this anime is and i want them to take a closer look at how beautiful the relationship development is.Sure we yaoi fans would’ve made this anime yaoi even if some of the romantic scenes were not there,but there is just so much to learn about love and companionship from Victuuri.Victor was yuri’s guardian angel,God came down to help this boy get up,THAT was Victor.But the way fate and feelings were brought upon Victor and Yuri to color their black and white lives was very realistic and magical.And that is something,we dont get to see in this “Netflix and Chill” era.

The anime opening and endings are just... THE BEST ANIME OPENING AND ENDING EVER!!Since 2013 i was waiting for anime to bring edm in it!Well as a viewer of anime for a long time ofc i love and approve of j rock but edm truely adds the element of excitement in the anime and yuri on ice executed it to perfection.The opening song is just inspiring and salutes the heroes and talents of this generations and encopurages them to keep dreaming,keep believing.I dont at all think crunchyroll exaggerrated with giving the awards to yuri on ice at all.After the anime and oing a little research,to see that the production team played so much attention to figure skaters around the around,took inspirations from real life atheletes and picked the character’s facial struggles from real life actors,atheletes and reporters too,yet coming up with an absolutely original story,ALL OF THAT MUST BE AWARDED..its a very pure anime,and most imporatntly ITS VERY REAL and thats whats important.No outdated phones this time but legit smartphones and for the first time i got to see g-mail and social media beginning talked about in an anime,thank u lord.Japan has finally come out of its fantasy world for once and have us something very modern,very new,veryINSTAGRAM,very 2016.THEREFORE...YURI ON ICE WAS CLEARLY BORN TO MAKE HISTORY!!
