idk if this is just me being a boomer but can we please start calling things what they are and not some vaguely related code name? i'm talking solely about tiktok by the way. "strawberry topping trend" "burnt toast theory" "pomegranate theory" i'm going to lose my marbles if i have to open up the godawful search bar just to understand a concept that would've taken 7 words to explain in depth. the "normalize context" mfs will be the exact same people who will comment "burn toast theory" OH. YOU MEAN "everything happens for a reason"?? YOU MEAN BUTTERFLY EFFECT???? why are we inventing new, innate phrases to communicate an otherwise easily understandable concept in a cryptic way. it's insane. i feel insane.
