Comment: Some Tumblr blogs “feel” like a “message in a bottle” - and stand out from the crowd due to their particular individuality. Over 5 years ago I already had a Tumblr blog that I deactivated for various reasons. I had an exchange with a young woman in her twenties who was suffering from anxiety and fear of commitment (sometimes you meet someone who doesn't deserve your love).

She just couldn't get out of an "emotional loop" for months - she cried out for love but got no answer (she was „ghosted“). I told her at the time that she should let go und try smalls steps to gain courage - and that if necessary there is no shame in seeking professional help (e.g. from a psychiatrist). In the end, she got herself out of the hole - sometimes all it needs is a „hug“ and a little push in the right direction. Last year she met the person she was looking for. The posts on her blog became less frequent - until they finally stopped completely last November. She now lives in the real world. She deserves her luck because she took the risk (despite of fear) to love and to be loved.

Millions of lonely souls who can't get together! Out of fear of disappointment, but often also due to excessive expectations. Many actually just blocking themselves - except perhaps those who are alone by conviction. Only after I completely threw away my expectations, I was able to accept my counterpart as she is. But she is also easy to love. She deserves my love.

P.S.: My wife and I have actually met via a dating portal on the Internet and did not really fit each other's ideal in our minds. We still wanted to meet each other, but without any expectations that it will work - maybe we'll become friends or at least have a nice day. But “sometimes things turn out differently than you thought”😘.
