#the philippines is a lifetime trial before hell /long-running filipino joke#'our bullshit president is doing his sona while genocides are happening' is a reality i have no idea how to swallow#we have a lot of problems already here and then there are objectively worse problems out there#this. this is the depressing reality that my eyes have been forced open to#i refuse to close my eyes or look away but i cannot deny how exhaustive it can be to be so Hyperaware of So Many Things At Once#i'm a struggling undiagnosed neurodivergent college student in a southeast asian 3rd world country overrun by corruption#that's not even touching on my personal offscreen life yet#eyghrhehe pagod na isa niyo#there's only so much i can do and the constant desire to do more and be more puts me at a dissonance
