i, personally, think that evil playthroughs are boring because... as simone weil said, “real evil is gloomy, monotonous, barren, boring.” plus, evil paths in most games are very hollow and underdeveloped, and you often lose out on cool shit. probably because evil paths are played all the same way: indiscriminately killing and looting and being dicks to npcs. normally, this kind of evil isn't rewarded because, well, npcs don't really like it when you're an asshole to them. they also don't like it when they die.

though, i do wish that the writing for both good and evil choices are more balanced and less binary, and that the evil path is more nuanced and complex. i want to play a compelling villain, not a murderhobo.
