Friendly reminder than in Stallion of the Cimarron, Spirit was a man of his people who went to great length to defend his herd. Protecting them from predators, destroying a fucking train so it wouldn't reach his homeland. Hell the reason Spirit even got captured to begin with is because he was trying to lure the humans AWAY from his herd

Meanwhile Spirit Jr in Riding Piss let a foal in his herd get orphaned when his mother is killed by a mountain lion because at the exact same time of the attack he was too busy carrying his colonist bitch to a fucking tea party.
