I’ve always wanted to publish something here on tumblr but I’m so scared to any tips?

im also kinda a newbie but ehehehe :

1 — id say if you are going to write fanfics, i suggest you plan out the plot first is like a notepad; i feel like its important that you have a baseline idea of what you want to write abt. i kinda just took a shot at the dark when i published nintendo switch

2 — make sure to add the proper tags to reach your post out !! for ex: these are the tags id use for x fem!yn “chishiya x reader “chishiya x fem!reader” “chishiya x yn” etc. etc. ALWAYS ADD TAGS. theyre important. and make a notepad of tags for your account; like oneshots has their own special tag. same with nintendo switch, request, and talking to people!!

3 — make your profile eye pleasing, that could go for dark colors or eveb bright colors. i feel like there is an important aspect about that which leads me to the next one. make sure your post themes ate eye catching !! make sure there are colors and pictures. as long as layouts for post go, add symbols or colored text !!

4 — have an update schedule!! i cannot stress you how important this is. it could be every monday thursday and saturday or everyday wednesday friday sunday. but they play a HUGEE role. the more updates = writing improvement

5 — make content of that person you are writing, something interesting and something that stands out. for chishiya you have the same “chishiya falls madly in love with reader or reader sacrifices herself for him” if you can make something thats not like that, THEN you’ll definitely get reads.

but seriously people on here are sweethearts and funny. dont be scared i’ll be sure there are people who will love what you write!! most important rule is have fun!! i support you anon!! <3<3

:0 in the smau a “yn” like character that doesn’t focus at all on romance? i think that could work!! it really depends on how you can write the “yn” character into the smau without it being too much or too little! it would be very interesting love—especially if she a romantic that can open up a new gate for ideas :D i hope this helps
