🫀🫀| One of the best parts of this song is that it’s such a Dia mood. Like the logical/sciency approach to love and relationships??? That’s it, that’s her. It’s also the song on her playlist that I think would be closest to a voice claim for her (though I am not wholly sold). However Kimiko Glenn, the singer, is also Niffty’s VA. Take that comedy how you will!

I need everyone to know I made Dia as a muse months before I found this song. This was all irony after the fact!

A gender related to carnivals, casinos, lifesteal hearts, the hearts card & your heart and the kick that almost reached the heart upon the first death.

This gender feels like the gush and rush of consuming a heart, the spinning spirals of the bigtop and the rush and adrenaline that pumps through your veins. It's the shuffling of cards across a table and the sound of electric lights under a roulette wheel. It's the drumroll at the start of the act that slows and starts to pick up with your heartrate, that thumps and thuds into a crescendo until talons pierce over your heart, almost rooting past your lungs into your heart.

A gender tied to a fascination with the night, it's deity and lipstick/gloss.

This gender feels like the smooth feeling of putting on lipsticks/gloss and taking long walks in the night, staring at the stars in the swirling nightsky above. A longing to reach and connect with a deity of the night yet you never reach out towards it. It feels like the smear of stardust across your lips as you take a deep breath and start your nightly activities.

Musical theatre and….?

So we all know that Hazbin Hotel is a musical, with traditional musical theatre elements, but that there’s also a lot of other genres tossed in. See Adam and rock and roll. So what other genre would your muse sing?

📺📺 Vox: electro-swing. It’s the perfect genre for him, even if he hates it.

🐍🐍 Hellaina: that very particular vibe of hyper-modern pop music that’s come from women on TikTok. (No shade, but there’s a certain Vibe to it all).

🫀🫀 Dia: morbid cabaret music. Enough said.

🍂🍂 Adelard: Bardcore! But slightly more generally, folk music.

🌒🌒 Tara: metal. There’s some flexibility in that, towards something that’s slightly more broadly alt, but metal at its core.

🌙🌙 Belphegor: heavily musical theatre! But also that brand of slow, sad alt indie music. Think something like Sleeping at Last.

💬💬 Jayden: very specially that really popular pop-rock vibe that was inescapable during the 2010s.

🌊🌊 Metatron: alternative indie, very similar to Belphegor in all honesty. Soft, angsty, you know the drill.
