This was shorter than intended but I ran out of ideas oops. Enjoy some comfort before I get more into the heavy Jaxon lore

Jaxon has felt for a long time that he deserves to be alone, and no one would want to be near him. He's felt that's what he deserves. That was only reinforced when he came back to Night Raven College. Almost everyone avoided him, and they only spread rumors about him when he wasn't around. In Jaxon's mind, this was how things should be, but that didn't stop the small feeling of loneliness from creeping into his heart.

But not everyone did that. There were some people who seemed to care about him, even though it was hard for him to believe that. Even those these people said they cared about him in one way or another, he always refused to believe that was true.

That was why he always turned down Kalim's party invites. Well, the main reason. The people, excitement, and sometimes the lights were also large reasons he didn't go to parties. But every time Kalim invited him, he turned it down saying he wasn't interested.

But today, Kalim was more insistent than ever that Jaxon come to a party he was throwing. He just didn't want to take no for an answer. Eventually, he had worn down Jaxon's patience enough that he agreed just so Kalim would leave him be for a few minutes.

Jaxon was a man of his word though, so he would have to go the the party. What they were celebrating? He had no idea. Jaxon doubted anyone would want him there anyway.

However, the moment he stepped into Scarabia, he was jumped on by Kalim.

"Jaxon! I'm glad you came!"

"Calm down. I agreed to it anyway."

Jaxon pushed Kalim off him, and took a moment to look around the room. Scarabia had been decorated with darker blues and purples. His favorite colors. In the center of the room, there was a table covered in sushi and surrounded by people. People he knew and talked to.

There was Yuli chatting with Ace, Bobo and Sunbeam were looking at the food, Fuyuki was sleeping in a corner, Silver looked like he was ready to sleep, Deuce was looking confused at the food, and...there was a goose on the couch.

All people he knew and has talked to before. He's even seen the goose around before.

"What is this?"

"It's a party for you Jaxon!"

"Why?"

"They seem to think you've been feeling lonely or whatever."

Ace spoke as if he didn't care, but even he could see how alone Jaxon was most of the time. They could all see it.

Before Jaxon could protest much to the party, Sunbeam walked over to him and dragged him to the seats.

"Come on Jaxon! We got your favorite food!"

There were all sorts of sushi spread across the table. As Jaxon sat, all the others came to sit near him. As each person grabbed a dish, they all began chatting together.

"How do you use these?"

"Deuce you have to hold them like this."

"Like this?"

"If you hold them like that, all your food is going to fall. Here."

Yuli demonstrated how to use the chopsticks to Deuce, and even gave him some pointers. Across the table, Fuyuki had woken up, and began chatting with Kalim, Bobo, and Sunbeam.

"Thanks again for your help with picking out the decorations Fuyuki!"

"I barely told you anything."

"Still it helped a lot! And it was all fun to set up together."

"You guys did really well."

"Thanks Bobo! By the way, we should all play together since you, Jaxon, Fuyuki, and I are all in the same club. We could give the others a show!"

"I'd love to do it. How about you Fuyuki?"

"Sure I guess."

Jaxon looked next to him when Silver and the goose sat down next to him.

"Do you know this goose?"

"Yeah. They sometimes hang out with me at night when I'm alone...but I didn't think they'd be here."

"Hjonk."

"How did Kalim find you?"

"Hjonk."

"I think the goose came here willingly on their own."

"Hjonk."

The goose waddled over next to Jaxon, and pushed it's way into his lap. He didn't try to fight the goose at all, and just accepted it.

Jaxon looked around at everyone having fun at this party for him. And he realized that maybe, he wasn't so alone here at Night Raven College after all. At that idea, he couldn't help but smile a little.

Jaxon sat in the infirmary, feeling all the shame soak in after his overblot. Why did he have to do that? It's just another example of how bad a person he is...and another reason for people to hate and isolate him.

He heard a strange sound, almost like something small walking across the ground into the infirmary. And it was getting closer...

Then, around the corner, that familiar goose showed itself. Jaxon felt his chest get tighter with guilt. He knows them. They've talked late at night while he plays his music. He's even sung to this goose before. And now, the goose was here for him.

Another example of him not realizing that there are people who care about him.

The goose fluttered it's wings and made it's way onto the infirmary bed where he was staying. Jaxon sighed when it honked at him.

It waddled towards him, and Jaxon opened his arms to the goose. The goose sped up and rested it's head on his shoulder, and he gently wrapped his arms around it.

Jaxon doesn't ever get hugs from people, and he's not sure how he would feel about them either. But right now, he could tell that they cared for him, and that made him happy.

Jaxon smiled, very grateful for this goose.

Jaxon likes animals okay. Animals don't judge him and are generally nice to him and they won't think he's dangerous based of what he did in his past. They would only think he is if he did something to them. But he would never do anything to scare or hurt an animal.

I can see you walking up to Jaxon at night while he's hanging out around the campus. He would be playing his guitar like he often does at night, and you could stay to listen.

Jaxon would actually love to play for you if you seem to like his music. He would even sing in front of you. Whatever you wanted to do, he would accept it. So if you got closer to him, he would accept it and wouldn't do anything to push you away. If you were to crawl in his lap or rest your head on him, he would rest his hand on you and hold you as long as you don't run off. But the second you seem like you want to be away, he'll let you away

It also comes with the bonus because some students are afraid of geese and he would love to have you around to scare them off

I can definitely see Riddle and Jaxon hating each other at first. I mean complete opposites! But then they’ll be like

Thinking of this au, what if Jaxon only had until the year left and he’s have to go to his mother?

Like Jaxon after his ob gets a whole year at NRC before he leaves to find his mother but! He and Riddle start to fall for each other but with their stubborn personalities, they don’t. Until Riddle hears about it last second and he rushes to confess his feelings for Jaxon while Jaxon’s mind is twisted between staying with his father and Riddle or leaving to see his mother.

Run on paragraph yeah I know but, a classic tsundere shoujou manga mixed with them is just a concoction I found in my head.

anyway your au idea (featuring 🪿 anon)

Jaxon had decided that he would stay the rest of the year at his school before going to find his mother. If she was out there, he wanted to see her, or at the very least, find out what happened to her.

But after his overblot, he had been more open to things around the school. One of these things was talking to Heartslabyul students. Sure, most of them were a bit scared of him at first, but they got used to being around him. Some were adamant on following the rules of avoiding him.

Riddle was one of these students. He was determined to never break a rule, and that included the one of avoiding Jaxon.

But it was getting harder and harder to avoid him. Somehow the two of them would always find each other in the same space.

Despite what the rules said, Riddle had a duty to uphold the rules of the school, and that outweighed the rule of avoiding Jaxon. So whenever Jaxon was breaking a rule, Riddle had to correct it. Jaxon of course, would get annoyed at the constant corrections and even make comments back at Riddle whenever a rule was broken.

"It is against the rules to have an untrained familiar with you!"

"It's literally a goose that just follows me around. It's not doing anything. Seems pretty trained to me."

Back and fourths like these happened often between the two. So often that they became normal. It would be weird to have a day where the two didn't do this.

As time went on, it grew into something more that neither of them would admit. If there was a day that they didn't cross paths, they began to go out and find the other. Totally not because they wanted to of course. It was because they were just bored and figured the other would be up to something stupid/annoying.

But in reality, they were falling for each other. Neither would admit it, but they wanted to be near the other. So they just continued the endless cycle of picking at each other, and pretending not to care.

The year was passing quickly. It would only be a few days before Jaxon would leave to go fine his mother, and he was torn. His mother is really important to him, but there's no guarantee of finding her. She could be anywhere. But here, there was someone who he knows and loves, even if he's never voiced it. Riddle got on his nerves and he loved to poke fun at him and see his face turn red.

Riddle was here, but his mother was somewhere out there.

Jaxon was thinking about it the entire time he was getting ready to go. He didn't have much to pack up, so it wouldn't take long anyway.

He hasn't confessed or anything to Riddle of course, and it was unlikely that Riddle likes him back. Thinking about this, it only made sense for him to leave.

Riddle on the other hand, had no idea Jaxon was even leaving. That is, until Ace mentioned something.

"Man it's going to be a lot quieter when Jaxon leaves. The housewarden might start being more strict with us again."

Riddle naturally started to question Ace about what he said. And that's how he found out about Jaxon leaving. He couldn't let that happen without at least telling Jaxon how he feels. So Riddle panicked and went to find him.

Jaxon had just finished up packing his things when he heard a light knock on his door. When he opened it up, he spotted a slightly out of breath Riddle.

Riddle glanced behind Jaxon and panicked when he saw things were packed up. Jaxon was getting ready to leave. This was his last chance to say something.

"Did you need something?"

"You're...leaving soon?"

"Yeah."

"You...I have to tell you..."

There was a silence that hung in the air for a bit as Riddle tried to figure out the right words. Then, at the same time...

"I love you."

In the end, Jaxon decided to stay with Riddle.

Riddle totally loves Jaxon's eyes, and Jaxon doesn't understand it at all. But his eyes are so pretty and capture peoples attention. For Riddle, it's comforting to see those glowing eyes in the dark. It means that even in darkness, he can still find Jaxon

Why did you choose the name Jaxon? Just because it sounded cool or a deeper reason?

lmaoo this is going to reveal some of the horrors of my writing process but here we go!

So when I'm creating an oc they actually all start out with my name so in the beginning, Jaxon was actually Ryker. It's only until after the rest of the outline for the oc is finished (personality, backstory, role, etc.) that I finally choose a name for them. This is partially because I'm lazy, but it's also because then I get to choose a name that I think fits them well since I now have a better idea of what they're like

So when the time came that I wanted to share Jaxon on my blog, I scrolled though a list of 1,000 names until I found one I was satisfied with. I actually ended up liking the name Jaxon a lot and thought it fit him well, so that's the name I went with!

Jaxon definitely doesn't like his eyes. One of the most striking things about his father is those glowing gold eyes. And like you said, his mom has pink ones, and he would much rather have those eyes.

His mom always looked at him with such kindness and understanding, so he thinks that if he had her eyes, people would be able to see more kindness and understanding in his eyes too. To some people, the golden eyes make him look more intimidating or creepy, so he thinks it would've been nicer if he had her pink eyes

Jaxon hates how much he looks like his father. From the golden eyes, the pale skin, and even his hair is dark like Crowley's. Thankfully his hair isn't as dark, but he absolutely hates it when people say "you look so much like your father"
