and like before, disclaimer: not proof read, probably many typos and grammatical errors, most likely just word vomit

i'll get straight to the point; a number of people in this fandom has a weird hatred and ableism problem when it comes to eichi and i do not like that at all.

disliking eichi, i kind of understand (i guess), but some enstarries are concerning when it comes to their hatred for him. i don't even care if it's said jokingly by the eichi haters, but i find it really weird when people say "i hope eichi dies". joking about a person who's been dealing with severe illness just gives me the ick.

i'm not gonna tell people who don't like eichi to just start loving and producing him, i just want them to not be ableist when talking about their dislike for eichi. if that makes any sense...

it just makes me feel grossed out. it feels really weird to me, and i've seen it many times already. some random comments online, i think it was more prevalent in 2020? and personally experiencing it when i was in a group chat with other enstarries, and this one person casually jokes about how eichi is "fragile" and "weak". it's weird to me, okay?

also do you guys remember the fireworks livestream on the engstars youtube channel? i have never felt so uncomfortable with the live chat of a stream before than when it was eichi's turn to show up, and the chat was filled with valkyrieP and eichi haters being rude and mean. they were spamming the tomato emoji and saying that they didn't want eichi there. if me, a person who doesn't even produce fine or eichi felt uncomfortable there, i can't even imagine how the producers themselves felt.

hating eichi and being ableist towards him isn't a personality trait, idk what to tell you there. maybe the hating are just jokes, but it's not and never will be funny, especially when it's about the illness of a character who's shown to struggle with it. or maybe i'm too sensitive?

Thank you everyone who has interacted and participated in the yearbook! This started out as a silly idea and ended up being a project I really enjoyed doing, I loved seeing everyone’s reactions. As the essential head mod of this project, it makes me really happy to see that it ended up being a success! I would like to thank my fellow mods for helping out and to everyone else who interacted with the yearbook and making it so much fun, without everyone the yearbook wouldn't be what it was. I know some people already know who I am, and I was prepared for that, but if you know who I am: no you don't. I really hope to return again next year to do this all again!
