Info about this blog:

☆ clearly, this is my sideblog where i post anything related to ganymedes from greek mythology. Iv wanted to make a blog centered around a character for a long time, and recently i fell into ganymedes madness, so naturally, i mades this blog

"Wait, who the hell is Ganymedes??"

☆ From the website theoi: "GANYMEDES was a handsome Trojan prince who was carried off to heaven by Zeus in the shape of an eagle where he was appointed as cup-bearer of the gods. Ganymedes was also placed amongst the stars as the constellation Aquarius, his ambrosial mixing cup as Crater, and the eagle as Aquila. Ganymedes was often portrayed as the god of homosexual love and as such appears as a playmate of the love-gods Eros (Love) and Hymenaios (Hymenaeus) (Marital Love)."

Beside the greek mythology ganymedes, i also post about:

♡ The deity: i practice hellenic polytheism (beginner) and so i also post the deity version of Ganymedes and not just the greek mythology version (if that makes sense)

♡ The moon ganymedes: ganymedes is an icy moon of Jupiter and is the largest moon in the solar system, named after the greek mythology character

The constellation describes a large group of stars that ancient Greek astronomers saw as a picture in the night sky.
