Mandrake is probably one of the best plant allies to seek out when working with familiar spirits. Oftentimes it is the spirit of the plant that acts in a familiar capacity in spellwork and journeying, but mandrake is unique in that it helps facilitate a connection with any familiar spirit. Mandrake extract can be used to anoint the body as part of a ritual to connect with the witch’s familiar, an entity that can take any form. Mandrake is the maker of pacts and with its help the agreement between witch and spirit is binding, feeding power to both parties. Stranger you’re a great guy but it definitely takes time to get used to staring at a shadow with my face, that is pretty much the opposite of original canon me personality wise (I’m a lot different from him too bc I’m “murdery” as the others in here say, but I digress) XD
