what a wonderful feeling to see old photos of yourself and genuinely think “I prefer how I am now”
#how magical#🩷 <- ty pink stripe in the flag#edit: the amount of time I got to truly play w my identity during the lockdown#the fact that I’m not done yet#the fact that I think ‘I had a glow up’ even though my insecurities are at an all time high and I genuinely pause and think ‘no I just got#older’ and that being such a nice relief for me#bc rather than an uncontrollable ‘glow up’ I just have aged and gotten older and that’s why I like myself better#I like myself more than old pictures because I’m me now and I’m not me in the photos#not to mention the amount of internal change that has happened#what love 🤎🤎🤎
