"Clearly." She rolled her eyes to herself, perhaps not the best call rolling her eyes at an alien that was determined to be a god centuries ago, but here she was. "I get enough bitter form your judging." she told him before sipping her coffee, humming contently at the taste, praying to anyone in Asgard really that the caffeine would kick in quickly.

"All night." she confirmed. "Nah, I have the studying in the bag - temporal anomaly. SHIELD couldn't get ahold of Jane, so they reluctantly called me to come help since I know a lot of Jane's work and theories."

There was a brief smile, humoured by her reaction. "It was a mere observation. One would think that much creamer would overpower the coffee, but clearly that was your intent." Why drink a beverage with such a bitter flavour if she was just going to dilute it with sugar, but that was her perogative.

"All night? What for? Studying I assume."

"Woah, woah, woah. No. I need caffeine. More than I need air frankly." Like taking caffeine away from her would actually stick. She wasn't above sneaking around like a misbehaving child if it meant getting her coffee fix. "I wouldn't dream of taking away something you love, why would you be so cruel to me?" A small voice in the back of her head was telling her she was hyper enough without caffeine, but where was the fun in that?

The things that Darcy has seen over the years with SHIELD since she started interning for Jane, she couldn’t exactly deny what Clint said was true. “At the end of the day, it’s deciding which is the lesser of two evils. Like yeah, New York was a supersized mess - no offence.- but what was the alternative? Letting Loki take over Earth? Letting those aliens do what they want? Same with Sokovia. Being a hero isn’t just about doing the right thing, it’s about making the tough choices so other people don’t have too.” she could be philosophical sometimes... sometimes.
