*Eternal Sugar had successfully pulled her harp from the trunk of the tree with little damage to the harp itself, but she had yet to take another swing the silver willow.*

*They were quiet, looking around almost cautiously as they held the harp.*

"....Something feels, off...but familiar."

*Her eyes narrow, and she turns away from the tree to look around a bit more.*

"It's oddly nice to finally have things to look at while I walk."

"We've had to beat up like, three or four yeast spores every other hour!"

"...I still think it's nice."

Sharing Thoughts

*Carameleon was sat beside Eternal Sugar, toying with some of that black sap from the willow tree, having bottled up what he'd gotten off the tree itself and the beast.*

*Eternal Sugar was resting her chin on her palm, watching the chameleon shifter with tired eyes.*

"...Say, little lizard..."

*Carameleon pauses, lifting his head to look at Eternal Sugar.*

"...What is it?-"

"...Why are you so willing to help me?..."

*Carameleon goes quiet, turning his head back to the bottle of sap.*

"...You don't have to tell me, it's alright not to..."

*The little chameleon shifter took in a deep breath, before shaking his head.*

"No, it's alright, I may as well spill."

*Carameleon caps the bottle of sap, before shoving it into the bag at his side.*

"I'll be honest- I'm not too sure. I think there's a reason you and the other beasts turned, we just don't know it. If I could find out what it is, maybe I could make things better between you and us-"

"...You sympathize for us?"

"N-no!- Well- actually- okay yeah-"

*A small smile finds it's way onto Eternal Sugar's face.*

"...Thank you."

"H-huh?-"

*Carameleon tilts his head as he looks up at Eternal Sugar, who is now rising to her feet, carefully wrapping up the pillow in the blanket.*

"I think we should start moving, I feel better now. Remind me, little one, what was your name?"

"C-Carameleon Cookie, ma'am!"

"Carameleon Cookie...thank you for being willing to help me. I hope you'll continue to do so."

*With the blanket holding the pillow now fastened over her shoulder to allow her to carry it easier, Eternal Sugar picked up the chameleon shifter, setting him on her shoulder.*

"O-of course! I'm happy to keep helping!"

*Carameleon seems to have relaxed greatly now that they're moving.*

*He looks happy.*
