Rusul clicked his tongue as he took the scrap.

"It really is a shame. This thing 'ad the potential to be so beautiful an' then... Every single part of it was nothin but... Well. Fake."

He huffed, muttering under his breath.

"'f it were my folks selling this, we'd 'ave 'ad our 'eads cut off by now... Stupid people thinkin that they can get away with 'alf-assin things..."

Rusul was not often seen by himself. The scheming birdfolk usually was accompanied by his so called "boss" or by the other first years he called friends.

As such, to most people, it was odd seeing him by himself already. Even more odd, though, was the way he stared at a massive silk tapestry hung from the walls- his eyes were narrowed, calculating. It was unclear if the mischievous son of merchants was plotting something or simply admiring the scenery.

“Yo, Rusul!” [Sadiya flies up to Rusul, grinning.] “I had a little idea to mess around with Izem! Just a bit, of course!”

Izem had been visiting Scarabia on an aside, as Rusul had gotten himself into trouble again and Izem had gone to try and manage the situation (like any responsible boss would), when he could've sworn he had heard a familiar voice shouting.

"But I swear it ain't gonna 'appen again, boss, cause I-"

"Quiet." Izem said suddenly, putting a finger up to shush Rusul. "You hear that?"

Rusul stopped talking only to note the sound and he immediately tensed up, ready to run into action.

"Oi, that's comin' from Sadiya's room... We should go check it out, yea?"

Izem nodded.

"Yeah... Whatever's goin on doesn't sound good and... If I'm being honest I've been lookin for a fight recently. Too much trouble got me riled up, y'know?"

Rusul gave a sheepish laugh before immediately deciding to dart down the hall.

"W-well whatever it is, I'm gonna go ahead and investigate."

The parrot beastman stopped himself in front of the door and offered a knock.

"Ooooi! You in there, twin? 'Ho's in there with ya? Do you need any 'elp?"

I find myself in my room, shaking and crying and staring at the mess I’ve made of myself. I can’t even look at myself anymore…

Casimir, a young first-year from Malleus's own dorm and Rusul, a vibrant and feathery first-year from Scarabia, stand in the hallway looking perplexed.

"My dearest vassal, I TOLD you that if we were too forceful with such a delicate concoction, the results would be disastrous! Why, such a situation has placed our grades in near jeopardy now (and I'm already behind on work as is...)"

Rusul shrugged at his friend's concerns.

"Aw cmon Casi! It ain't all bad... Maybe we'll get outta class for the rest of the period and it'll all work out!"

"Yes. And then I shall be scorned by my own brethren and exiled from the dorm, seeing how many of them were in this class today... And I shudder to even think about how the prefect might react to hear about such a conundrum that we have found ourselves in..."

Casimir's voice trailed off as he took note of his housewarden in the distance. He recalled the pot spilling over onto someone's stuff but he wasn't sure who's. But things appeared to be potentially disastrous, especially seeing as his groupmate had already seemingly vanished into thin air, the only sign of him having been there being a single shed feather.

"Oh... This is going to be most disastrous, indeed..." He murmured to himself. "Perhaps I should begin to compose my final ballad... That, or maybe my will would suffice..."

✨Was sitting in my room eating some sour gummy worms (one of my fave sweets) and then decided I wanted to make a silly one-off post about everyone's favorite sweet treats as a result. Because why not?

✨My only thing, though, is I cannot choose their favorite foods (simply bc most of my OCs favorite foods are already generally sweet [red bean mochi, shortbread cookies, caramels, almond bark, dark chocolate. Literally only Rusul and Izem are the exception lmao]).

🦐: Yuna's allergic to coconut, so there are quite a few candies that she DOESN'T like. However one of her favorite sweets to get is chewy fruit candies like Starburst or HiChew. Her particular favorite flavors are the mango and the grape ones, but she also likes the odd flavors you can find (like the drink flavor mix)

🎩: Lewis's favorite candy is probably something like those shoddy strawberry or butterscotch hard candies (mmmm granny candies). I think he'd be a big fan of Werther's maybe.

♌: Izem isn't a huge sweets kinda guy, and he absolutely HATES those prank sweets you can buy (think like. Beanboozled or those candied bugs that they sell in gift shops that sometimes people will get as a gag gift?). That being said, though, he does have a slightly soft spot for taffy. He will bitch and moan that it got stuck in his teeth if he eats it, but he will still be satisfied with it and won't say boo to receiving some as a gift.

🦜: Rusul LOOOOOVES anything fruit flavored. As such, I think he'd love a good chunk of candies. In particular, though, he loves getting those filled fruit gummies. Like the fruit snacks with the juice in them or fruit gushers. If offered one he would probably take it and bite into it so it exploded in the person's face. Maybe intentionally, maybe not, but all a bit silly.

🐁: Aside from caramels, there are very few sweets that James enjoys. Luckily, though, marshmallows are one of those very few. I think he secretly LOVES shopping right after Easter just so he can hoard peeps on sale.

🌙: what better for the Evil Overlord's second favorite sweet other than candy corn and mellocreme pumpkins? Bro loves those Halloween candies so much. I think Casimir would be a STAUNCH candy corn defender when his peers start talking around Halloween about whether or not those kinds of things are good or not.

🩺: Heinrich was a little hard to think of something right off the bat, but I think he would really like. Chic-a-sticks or any other kind of dehydrated coconut candy. Unfortunately, he can't keep either those OR his top favorite sweet (almond bark) in his office (student allergies), BUT he does keep a bunch of lollipops and/or smarties in there, which he also doesn't dislike too much.

It's rly funny how. Yuna has pretty much remained the same aside from some minor details but everyone else changed in. Some way (except maybe James, whose design here I think I actually prefer. This was also prior to Izem's existence so... He is not here 😭). These are the most recent doodles but under the cut you can find some more lovely artifacts...

*The leader of the Black Sheep and a very stern but brotherly figure based on Zira from TLK2. First and foremost he is quite defensive and protective of "his boys".

- 💥Newton Tram, SC Yr 2.

* Izem's left-hand man, a lowkey flighty and rowdy student who looks up to Izem. Based on the Wildebeest from TLK. He's set to inherit the group once Izem leaves for his internship.

- 🐘Oswaldo "Oz" Umar, SC Yr 3.

* Izem's second in command, very quiet and stoic- doesn't speak much. He's very close with Izem and Newton. Has a strange fascination with the macabre. Based on the concept of the Elephant Graveyard from TLK.

- 🌗Georgie And 🌓Giovanni Tweed, HL Yr 2.

* A set of twins in Heartslabyul who joined only a few weeks after Riddle had initially become housewarden. They're both big fans of puzzles and brain teasers, but they're even bigger fans of screwing with people. Based on the Tweedles lol

- 🪻Melodia Bloss, HL Yr 3.

* A young student from Heartslabyul who initially was just aware of the group at first, but joined after she was collared for breaking a rule regarding singing in the gardens during teatime without the proper company. She doesn't hold any major disdain towards her housewarden, but she does want to see him put in his place eventually. Based on the singing flowers from AiW.

- 🍣Olivine Kell, OV Yr 1.

* A new face in the Black Sheep, got screwed over by Azul near the start of the year and has had beef ever since. Seems to have a perpetual anemone on his head... Based on the cursed merfolk in Ursula's Lair in TLM.

* A first year from Scarabia who joined the Black Sheep just because he thought it would be interesting. He's not really a fighter of any sort, but loves being able to talk shit and complain about his dorm without judgement. Based on Iago from Aladdin.

- 💙Morgante Furie, IH Yr 2.

* Compared to her dormmates, Morgante is incredibly sociable and extroverted. She's also a big hater. She's not a fan of her Housewarden's NEET behaviour and lowkey finds Idia a bit insufferable. As such, she chills with the Black Sheep. She's close friends with Melodia. Based on Megara from Hercules.
