Weeding out the spy

Copyright: I do not own any Marvel characters or locations. However, I do own my OCs, which consist of Penny Fury, Elizabeth Nelson, Elijah Chan, Katya Venice, Violetta Moscow, Lan Le, Josh, Trang Tien, Ahni Jallow, Mai Ito, and Ghaida Kashual as well as other OCs that will come up throughout the story.
A Death threat was all well and good, Loki thought, when you weren't on the receiving end of one.
Not that the pirate could kill him if he tried. But still, he didn't like being threatened. And yet, he also knew exactly why he was being threatened and couldn't find it in himself to be upset about it. He couldn't blame the pirate.
Loki didn't necessarily like people. He was quiet and he preferred solitary if the other option was to be with a crowd of people. However, he did like to people watch. He liked to turn invisible and sit in a room where people didn't realize he was in and listen to them talk.
Information was always given away like that. It was one of the reasons that Rogers had suddenly become trusting and had started sending him on solo missions. Because Rogers had realized Loki could bring more information in than anyone else could.
If there was something Loki did like, it was knowing that he was needed.
So now he watched. He had turned invisible once more and had watched. He soaked in the information. There were at least eight HYDRA agents that had attacked the safe house, but there were also multiple tire tracks, which meant some had fled so the number could've been anywhere between eight and fifteen.
Stark had tracked each and every truck that had left the premises to different locations. Though all of the men had worn hoods so they couldn't tell who was who, it wasn't hard to find Penelope Fury, with her long white hair and, of course, the bonds around her wrists and ankles.
Stark had tracked the first plane to Germany. The second plane to Egypt. The third plane to Sri Lanka. He couldn't find where the plane landed however and was making F.R.I.D.A.Y. search up every single private airport where customs weren't necessary.
Romanoff and Strange were working together to see if SHIELD had allies in Sri Lanka that could do some on the grounds searching before the Avengers showed up. So far the odds weren't looking good. Sri Lanka was a small country and SHIELD had never had anything to do with it before.
It was also an island, which wasn't promising for Penelope to escape on her own. While she might be able to escape and get a message to her father, there was nowhere to go if they caught up to her before the Avengers could get there.
He also watched Rumlow with distaste. He didn't like the vibes or whatever Midgards called the feelings they got when they didn't like someone.
But Rumlows story just didn't add up.
🦊🍋 ק𝓸V ⒸнaNﻮ乇 💚🚕
Brock Rumlow staggered down the street. He was cursing the other HYDRA agents out. Had they had to hit so hard? He hadn't expected them to beat him to a pulp and actually almost kill him. Sure, it had been the perfect cover, but the recovery sucked.
HYDRA was pissed off for several reasons. For one thing, they had really needed Fury's daughter as leverage to continue propelling forward with future plans. The plan had been to trade Penelope Fury for Bucky Barnes. It was a trade that they knew Fury wouldn't be able to deny, even with Rogers arguing against it. Plus, Rumlow was certain Barnes would've let himself be handed over.
It was a stroke of amazing luck that Barnes didn't remember him from HYDRA, especially considering Rumlow had been Barnes handler for the most part. He'd been almost one hundred percent certain that after Barnes returned from wherever he went for therapy, that his job as an undercover agent was blown.
But Barnes didn't remember him as either SHIELD or HYDRA, and that was a lucky break indeed.
But then Fury, Barton, Hill, Coulson, and about twenty other agents had come through and completely destroyed the main HYDRA facility and he had to make another plan.
He checked his phone as he felt it buzz in his hand. He paused walking, as he couldn't look down and walk at the same time because of a pain in his neck.
He lifted his phone to his eyes to see that $325,000,000 had been transferred to a dud bank account in one of his fake names. He smiled at that before quickly performing a task right there and then to make everything untraceable to Stark.
It was lucky that he was on the inside as they tracked Penelope Fury down. Selling her to known sex traffickers had been his last stroke of luck. He had no idea where they'd taken her until Stark had mentioned Sri Lanka. He knew that these places were secretively undercover and it would be hard for the Avengers to find her.
Of course, he had thought that about HYDRA bases and he saw how they were now.
He continued to limp down the sidewalk, ignoring sympathetic looks from everyone who glanced at him as he walked past.
He felt as though he was being followed and he kept auspiciously glancing into shop windows to try and figure out who was following him. He didn't need an Avenger tailing him, not now. Not ever.
He ducked down an alleyway and waited. He waited and waited, leaning against the wall, but he never saw anyone come towards him. Most people didn't even glance down the alleyway.
He headed further down the alley, turning another corner and then waited. He heard nothing and when he checked again, there was no one there. But he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being followed.
He checked behind him to see if they'd snuck around the other way but no one was there.
He was either getting paranoid, or the person following him was very good at their job. But he wasn't sure which one it was.

Loki waited, standing impatiently inches away from where Rumlow kept looking behind him and around the corner of the alleyway. He supposed the Agent had known he was being followed and was trying to figure out where he was going to be attacked from. His strategy was good, but Rumlow would never find him as he was invisible.
Eventually, Rumlow straightened his collar and he headed out of the alleyway the same way he'd come. Loki waited till he'd turned the corner to cautiously follow.
When he turned around the same corner, all he could see were normal people streaming both ways on the sidewalk.
Rumlow was already gone.

"Alright, what's wrong?" Steve demanded as Loki called everyone together, including Fury who had been at the SHIELD headquarters. Loki had already made sure that there was no way Rumlow could butt in on the conversation, nor could anyone except those in the room hear him.
"I believe we have a mole." Loki responded. "And I believe that the mole was instrumental in capturing Miss Fury."
"And who was it?" Fury demanded.
"Think about it for a moment." Loki said, wanting to portray the evidence before he leapt in and said it was Rumlow. "Fury, your daughter must have self-defense training. I can't imagine that you haven't taught her to defend herself."
"She was trained by the best." Fury assented.
"I've seen Fury take down fifteen agents by himself." Loki continued. "And if your daughter was trained by the best, then there is no way a measly eight agents- maybe a few more but we're banking on eight- could possibly have bested, especially with another agent helping her, unless-"
"Unless Rumlow betrayed her." Clint finished for him. "She would have her full trust that Rumlow had her back, which means he could've attacked her from behind and she wouldn't have known."
"Do we have any other evidence of this case?" Fury asked, his phone already in one hand, his gun in another. "Where is Rumlow?"
"He left the tower this afternoon." Loki said. "I don't know where he went, he lost me. He doesn't know I was following him, but he knew he was being followed at least. I don't know if I scared him off however."
"F.R.I.D.A.Y. is tracking him right now." Tony piped up.
"How can we confirm?" Steve asked with a frown, "He's not going to admit to it and Bucky would've remembered him if he'd been in HYDRA."
"Wanda can look into his mind, right?" Loki asked.
"Yes." Wanda said slowly. "But he could try and hide the memories if he knows I'm in the room. I don't remember him from HYDRA either, but if he is HYDRA, he'll know what my powers are."
"So how do we trap him?" Natasha asked.
"How many people can you turn invisible?" Stephen asked, looking at Loki.
"Quite a few." Loki said.
"What if you hide about half of us, including Wanda. Steve clearly trusts Rumlow, or trusted Rumlow at any rate. Steve can pretend to ask Rumlow questions about last night. If Rumlow doesn't see Wanda or most of us, then he might lower his guard enough for Wanda to see what his memories of that night were."
"I can also take memories by force." Loki admitted, "But it would mean keeping him still and having my hands on him."
"Maybe we could invite him to an orgy tonight." Thor joked and Loki glared at him.
"Absolutely not, I refuse to do that." Loki sniffed.
"Plus, he'd know something was up. We're not going to have an orgy when Fury's daughter is missing." Rhodey pointed out.
"Mr. Stark, Mr. Rumlow has just entered the building." F.R.I.D.A.Y. spoke.
"Shit, this is going to be sooner than we thought." Clint cursed.
"What's going on?" One of the younger, newer agents came in at that moment with a folder of papers. "Here Dr. Strange."
"Thank you Elizabeth." Stephen said, grinning at her.
Elizabeth was one of the newer Avengers, Loki had met, talked to. . . and had dominated in past orgies. She'd come in with Kate Bishop, Shang-Chi, Kamala Kahn, America Chavez, and several other new superheroes.
The elevator dinged and Loki quickly raised his hands. Elizabeth took a step back in surprise when some of them vanished and Stephen quickly reached out, pulling her onto his lap, whispering quickly in her ear.
"Have we made any new developments?" Rumlow asked without preamble, heading over to where Steve was standing with a new folder of papers Elizabeth had brought in.
"Some." Steve said and then shook his head, "Okay, none. All we know is that she disappeared somewhere over Sri Lanka. Tony thinks she landed there but we have no proof of it." He held up the folder, "We have all of the private airports here but I have to ask you, is there anything you can remember from that night that could help? Anything?"
Rumlow sighed, rubbing the skin underneath his ear. "I wish I did Captain Rogers. I know there were at least ten of them, possibly more. I know Penelope was fighting them with one of the umbrellas that were in the case by the door. I know I grabbed my own gun, but the range was to close for shooting."
Wanda's eyes were glowing red as she searched his mind and Loki made sure to keep everyone invisible. And then Wanda's eyes turned back to normal and she started to stalk towards Rumlow.
Loki let the invisibility spell drop and Rumlow jumped back and then hissed in pain. "What the hell!"
"He's the spy." Wanda hissed, hands starting to glow red.
"Good enough for me!" Bucky glared, raising his gun.
Rumlow tossed something to the ground. There was a bang and puffy white smoke started to fill the room.
Loki felt his eyes sting and backed away, closing his eyes.
Suddenly, the smoke was dispersed and he rubbed his eyes to see Elizabeth on her feet. Rumlow was encased in a ball of water, frantically try to escape, but was more drowning than anything else.
Elizabeth let the water drop once the smoke was completely gone, letting him fall to the floor with a thud. The water shot back into her body and she took two steps back, sitting heavily on Stephen's lap. Stephen kissed the side of her head.
Loki waved his hand, green mist creating floating daggers out of thin air and he raised an eyebrow as Rumlow went to get up from the floor. "I wouldn't move if I were you. Besides, there is a very angry father that wants to talk to you. I think those injuries are about to get worse."

White Fox
Tumblr media
Information About the Unknown Girl Who Has Been Hacking Government Servers And Leaving Behind the following Logo, Animated with a Winking motion. {That’s Cute, yall got NOTHING on me~ So I’ll add a few things, not like you’ll ever catch me anyways.}
Tumblr media
Codename: "White Fox"
Real Name: Ekaterina Lisitsa (Екатерина «Катя» Лисица)
{EEEEW. MY GOVERNMENT NAME. CALL ME KATYA. NOT EKATERINA.}
Name meaning:
Katya (Катя) is a form of Ekaterina (Екатерина), which means “pure” or “innocent.”
Lisitsa (Лисица) means “fox.”
So, in all, her name means “pure fox.”
{I know, right? I’m so cute, mindful and demure, right?}
Ability: "Master Mod"
Katya’s ability is known as “Master Mod,” which enables her to manipulate the “data” of reality in specific, limited ways, treating the universe as if it were a giant, immersive simulation game. While she cannot actually alter the fabric of reality itself, her ability allows her to interact with the world in unique, almost game-like methods:
1. Normal Hacking: She can hack into electronic devices and networks effortlessly, bypassing security systems, extracting or altering data, and taking control of digital systems.
{Easy peasy. Skill issue.}
2. Inventory: Katya can store and retrieve physical objects in a kind of "pocket dimension"—a virtual inventory space she creates through her ability. This lets her summon or store items as needed, akin to a character in a game pulling items from their inventory.
{Think Mary Poppins’ bag, but cooler. And wayyyyy more practical!}
3. Quantum Teleportation: She can instantly teleport herself or objects to random locations. She has to have physically BEEN to the place in order to teleport there.
{Nope, can't just jump into your secret lair without an invitation. Sorry.}
4. Solid Holographic Avatar: Due to her inability to use her legs, Katya projects a solid, lifelike holographic avatar of herself to interact with the world. This avatar looks exactly like her and moves as she would if she were physically present, allowing her to navigate the real world without revealing her true self. This projection is stable and tangible, but requires her to focus and drains her mental stamina over time.
{Skill issue, me edition.}
Reason for Paralysis:
As a child, Katya was born with a rare and debilitating condition that left her physically weak. Growing up in a twisted orphanage, she was subjected to experimental surgeries meant to "cure" her condition. The orphanage's administrators, driven by their own twisted motivations and a lack of medical expertise, performed a high-risk spinal surgery intended to improve her mobility. Unfortunately, the procedure went terribly wrong, leading to severe complications and irreversible damage to her spinal cord. Instead of gaining strength, Katya lost the use of her legs, deepening the trauma of her early life.
{Fr tho, what were they even thinking? "YOLO, let's just wing it"?}
Additional Details:
Katya views the world as a series of levels and challenges, constantly seeking new "stages" to clear and puzzles to solve. This perspective makes her adventurous and fearless but also somewhat detached from reality. Her insecurities about being in a wheelchair make her rely heavily on her holographic avatar, which she uses to mask her true vulnerability, which only a small select few people are aware of. Though she projects confidence and independence, she feels self-conscious about her disability and tries to hide it as much as possible.
{Daang, miss creator 😦 didn’t have to expose me like that...}
Her playful attitude and gaming-like perspective often hide her sharp mind and keen observations. While she pretends not to care about the opinions of others, she’s constantly analyzing their behaviors and thinking several steps ahead.
{Hey, they don’t call me a fox for nothing~~}
Despite her facade of bravado and wit, Katya often wonders what life could have been like without her condition. She rarely admits it, but there’s a part of her that still clings to the hope that one day, she might walk again.
{Yeah, yeah, I know. SOOOO Sappy. But a girl can dream, okay?}
Katya’s online (and irl) presence is a mix of snark and sincerity. She’s known for her witty tweets and relatable memes, using them as a way to cope and connect with others.
{OOOOKAY THATS ENOUGH OF THAT!!! THIS IS NOT THERAPY.}
She’s also a fan of gaming streams and online communities, where she feels more at home and less judged. Virtual worlds are where she finds solace and escape.
{Low-key obsessed with those fantasy RPGs. Can Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail get new updates please?? I’ve reached endgame. I’m BOORREED.}
---
OOC: she also likes to break 4th wall.
{Fourth Wall is for losers.}
