"Oi dumb face, I need to talk to ya for a sec" Darius approached you at your locker one morning.

You jumped in surprise at his presence and backed yourself further at your locker. Darius rose an eyebrow at your odd behaviour, usually you would've told him off for bothering you.

"Oh- uhm not sure if I can, I have to meet up with someone right now" Your (E/C) avoided his golden irises, clearly showing you were lying to him.

He snickered and slammed his hand on a locker beside yours, the sound resonating through out the empty hallway. Twirling a strand of your hair he asked in a clipped tone,

"Really? And who would that be? Your nonexistent boyfriend?" Darius laughed at the end of his sentence.

He's the reason you never had a partner up until now. Only those who wish to have their life cut short would dare to pursue you.

You only meekly nodded in response and Darius quickly snapped his gaze on you. Quickly looking for sign of lies on your face, only to be met with none.

Oh he was livid.

"Who? Who the fuck is stupid enough to be your boyfriend, huh? Tell me, tell me damnit!" Darius was beyond angry.

He was angry at your boyfriend for daring to steal you away, angry at himself for letting that bastard even try.

"A-Avery.." You said your boyfriend's name in a low tone, afraid of how Darius was going to react.

"That pipsqueak? You choose him of all the fucking losers in this school to date? Why?! He couldn't protect you with those noodle arm he has, he couldn't do shit for you"

Darius then lean his face closer to you, your noses were practically touching. His expression that was usually contains of smugness now only filled with desperation.

Desperation to know why you didn't choose him instead.

"Because I wanted to forget about you! I- I love you, asshole! And I hate myself for it.." You feel tears dropping down your face, you never wanted him to know of your feelings for him.

The blond looked taken aback at your confession, however once he recovered from the initial shock, a smirk stretched across his face.

You readied yourself for the incoming mockery and the harsher bullying you'd receive from Darius after this but it never came.

"Wh-!" A pair of lips come in contact with yours, your (E/C) snapped open. Darius was kissing you! Your bully whom you had feelings for was kissing you!

"I love you too, dumbass. I always have been. You should've told me instead of using that loser to forget about me" He muttered once you two pulled away.

"Does that mean we're dating now?" You asked him and yelped once he lean his forehead onto yours.

"Of course. From now on you're mine and I'm yours, you got that? Don't ever forget about it, dumb face"

Now that he already got you in his arm, it's time for him to take care of that bastard who thought he had a chance with you.

No one can have you but him. Only him.

The naga thrashes in your hold as you drag them from their hiding place. Sneaky thing thought they could hide from you in the bushes. Their jaws unhinge to hook into the tender flesh of your forearm - a hand slipping beneath and locking them back into place as it latches around their throat.

"Hey, guys - noticed this little sweetie following me - think they wanted to say hi."

The naga hisses as the light of your camera flashes in its eyes. Their nails scape at your pants legs, but can't quite get through the material. Your fingers press deeper into their flesh as they squirm and writhes - curled lips pulling back over their teeth, presenting a missing tooth in their snarl.

"Aw, yea - you're a beauty. What happened to your other fang, sweetheart?"

The naga stills in your arms - seeming to register your words to some degree as eyes centered on the blistering light of your phone cameras. Feeling them relax, you pocket your phone and bring your hand up to their head - gently petting the top of their head as their sharp hisses fade into the quiet of the night.

"That's it.... Quit hissing and be a good boy...."

The naga's head falls to your chest. You rub at its lower jaw as reward for its compliance. Right as the snake warms up to your touch, it's quickly pulled from them as you release the beast from your grip - already a few steps away once it's regained it's mobility. You wave as the naga stares at you blankly.

"Thanks for playing nice today - see you around!"

The beast paws at its jaws, gazing fondly at the spot where you once stood. It slinks off into the bushes to stalk you from afar as you continue your nightly patrol of the Everglades, unsure if it should take you to its home now or allow you to lead it to yours.
