🥀 Talk of the town 🥀 v; main 1 -

Takes place during the events of the 2017 movie. Gaston has returned to his village as a war hero and renowned hunter. He can’t go anywhere without folks fawning over him, whether for his handsome looks or his reputation. However, behind the brave façade lies a scarred and cunning young man, looking to fill the void in his heart by marrying the most beautiful girl in the village and start a family. He ignores and pushes down his trauma and certain aspects of his personality in favor of pursuing his ambitions and basking in his neighbors’ approval. The front can only stay up for so long before slipping, allowing his violent and obsessive nature to break through more and more until it eventually leads to his downfall. Literally.

🥀 Disgraced and forgotten 🥀 v; main 2 -

Takes place after the events of the 2017 movie. While breaking the spell on Adam, the castle, and all of its inhabitants, the Enchantress finds that Gaston has miraculously survived his fall, though broken and battered, and is clinging to life by a thread. She offers him a chance at salvation, which he desperately accepts, then curses him to live on as her familiar, doing her bidding while forced to wear a hideous antlered mask until he fully accepts his true self. He is then restored to full health and given a minuscule dose of her power, not enough to end the curse, but enough to do as she requires. He is left bitter, vengeful, and petrified of heights, but ultimately obeys her. The mask begins to crack apart little by little as he learns to accept different aspects of his personality. This will be a long and arduous journey.

🥀 immortal enchanter 🥀 v; main 3/modern -

Eventually, once the mask is completely broken, Gaston will learn that he has been granted immortality and appointed as the Enchantress’s successor. She’s retired, having used the curse as a subtle way of training him to take her place. No, he doesn’t have a choice in the matter, but at this point, he’s not going to say no to more power. Power comes with responsibility, however. As the Enchanter, Gaston is charged with protecting those in need while hiding in plain sight, and teaching important life lessons to drastically foolish people like his former self. All modern threads will take place in this verses, as well as anything post-regency era.

🥀 Trapped on the Isle 🥀 v; Descendants - Gaston is also saved from death by the Enchantress in this verse, but is imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost amidst the unification of Auradon. Bitter and vengeful, he hides himself away for a few years before the need for companionship and validation override his shame. He becomes the Isle’s leading womanizer for a time, soon discovering with a shock that he’s inadvertently started the family that he used to want so badly. Eventually, he winds up raising three sons on his own, whom he loves very dearly despite not quite knowing how to show it. He also finally accepts his bisexuality after a fling or two with Captain Hook. Working through his various traumas and accepting his softer side is much harder for him, though. He’s petrified of heights, and rarely goes hunting anymore.

Appearance: shoulder length dark hair(usually pulled back into a ponytail), 6’0”, large and muscular build, green eyes, strong jaw, broad chest, several scars that he always keeps covered.

Personality: Arrogant, obsessive, aloof, violent, hotheaded, hides both intelligence and trauma behind several walls, is afraid of rejection(mostly from society) and refuses to accept it, self absorbed, coping mechanisms involve fighting, drinking, talking to his reflection, and treating others like they’re beneath him, and he’s petrified of heights in certain verses.

Powers/Abilities: above average strength, endurance, and agility, skilled hunter/marksman, skilled tracker, deceptively cunning, highly charismatic.

Languages: French, English (verse dependent)

Flaws/Weaknesses: mortality, foolhardy arrogance, prone to obsession to the point of rage beyond reason, refuses to be honest with himself and others, doesn’t know when to quit or take no for an answer.

Education: very limited, didn’t properly learn to read until he joined the army.

Rules

1. No Godmodding. I play my character, you play yours, NPCs are fair game!

2. NSFW content will be present. I’ll tag triggers, but not NSFW. I don’t do smut unless it’s with someone I trust and know extremely well, but I’ll write most of what leads up to it. (Making out, getting handsy, etc.) If things get to a point where I’m no longer comfortable writing, I’ll probably request a timeskip or fade out.

3. Mun does not equal muse. Gaston is an arrogant and obsessive asshole, but that doesn’t mean I condone everything he does.

4. As I said I tag triggers. The tagging system I use is (trigger tw) with no parentheses. If there is a specific trigger you would like me to tag, shoot me a DM. I don’t have many triggers, aside from graphic motor vehicle accidents.

5. I have a job that stresses me the fuck out. Five days a week. Unpredictable timing. I don’t always have the spoons to be online and/or productive. I might disappear for days/weeks/months on end. That isn’t my intention, of course, but it’s happened before and it’s likely to happen again. Please be patient with me. If it’s been a while since my last reply, shoot me a DM, but please be respectful about it.

6. If you send Anon hate, you’re a coward. Say it to my face or don’t say it at all.

7. Constructive criticism is always welcome! Just don’t be an ass about it. I do research my muses before attempting to play them, and while I don’t know everything about Beauty and the Beast, I don’t need anyone trying to subject me to an involuntary game of Um, Actually.

8. I don’t format my posts a whole lot beyond bold, italics, strikethroughs, and/or fun colors, and I probably won’t always use icons. I do try to cut my posts, but I mainly am on mobile, so I may forget from time to time. I don’t like using small text or unnecessary spacing. I don’t know how to use fancy fonts other than the ones in the normal dropdown menu. You can do whatever you want, as long as I’m able to read it without my eyes hurting.

9. Please don’t kill Gaston without my permission. Ask first. It’s just rude not to.

10. I ship chemistry. I’m not going to force my muse on anyone who doesn’t want him, and that doesn’t just go for sex and romance. That being said, I play him as being closeted bisexual and he’s a massive flirt. If your muse isn’t interested, tell me. If your muse is interested, tell me!

11. Likes are fine, but please do not reblog my roleplay threads if you’re not my partner. It clogs up the notes and makes it hard for me to find replies.

12. I don’t do drama. I’m not here to make enemies or get involved in discourse. I’m here to dick around and have fun. If you’re looking for trouble, do me a favor and go somewhere else.

13. Don’t try and start shit with my friends. If you have a problem with them, you have a problem with me. I’ve known most of them for years now and I trust and love them deeply.

(As much as I love Encanto, this blog never really got off the ground, so I’m scrapping it and using it for something else. If you like Gaston from Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast, feel free to stick around! 😊 I have a ton of muse for him, and I adore Luke Evans’s portrayal of him, so I’m plonking him here instead of making a new blog for him.
