You watch as Hobie flits around the party. It's been about two hours since you’d gotten to one of his mate’s parties and he’s constantly been called this way and that.

You’d taken up home against a wall with a good view of the whole room after the first twenty minutes of constant greetings and small talk and now the place was packed. You were here as his plus one meaning you only knew about three people in the packed house and one of them was him.

‘I should have stayed home’ You thought with a sigh as you took another sip from your cup.

You closed your eyes, leaning your head against the wall as the music thrums through you. You hummed along to a few songs you recognized from Hobie’s playlist before hearing his voice nearby. You perked up, looking around to see which way he was coming from.

‘He must be coming to check on me again.’

You’d told him to have his fun but he’d made a routine of checking in with you or making faces when your eyes met. You smiled at the thought, eyes scanning the crowd to see what way he's coming from.

Your eyes narrow as you take in the scene in front of you. He was definitely on his way back to you going off the cup in his hand since he had been the one getting your drinks so you didn't have to fight the crowd; however he’d been stopped by a small group of girls.

You rolled your eyes as you watched the obviously drunk girls talk to him. Jealousy pumped through your veins and clawed at your chest as your far too nice boyfriend chatted with them happily. He held his hand over the top of the cup as he nodded along to something one of the girls said.

Your gaze hardened when one of the girls stumbled forward having been pushed by the crowd. You watched Hobie hold out his free arm catching her and stabilizing her with ease, spider sense probably having gone off. The girl didn't make a move to get out of his arms though, instead settling against him with a coy smile.

Hobie grimaced, obviously uncomfortable as the girl clung to him. He looked up scanning the wall you'd been hanging around until he made eye contact with you. He took in your displeased gaze and annoyed posture with a grimace before pleading with his eyes for you to save him. You only glared, crossing your arms and turning your head with a huff.

It took all of two seconds before you looked back, jealousy too intense to ignore. You looked up just in time to see the girl trying to get him to lean down and his puppy dog eyes directed at you before he was frowning down at the girl.

You rolled your eyes, grumbling as you pushed through people to make your way to them.

“Listen, I told you I need to get this drink to my partner… so if you could let go.” You could hear the forced kindness in his tone as you approached.

‘Serves him right for stopping for groupies in the first place.’ You grumble in your head forcing down a grin at his annoyance as you push through the girl's friends.

“Excuse me. Could you politely let go of my boyfriend." You forced a smile as you addressed the girl currently clinging to your boyfriend. You ignored his thankful gaze, still “upset” with him for getting himself into the position in the first place.

The girl glared, pursing her lips as she looked you up and down.

“This is what you've been trying to get back to?” the girl scoffed,pressing closer to Hobie.

Before Hobie, who was now noticeably annoyed, could say something, you stepped forward, slipping your fingers into the chain choker around his neck, pulling him down to your level.

There was no resistance unlike when the other girl had been attempting earlier. You tried to hold back a smile as you leaned in, placing a kiss on his cheek. You pulled back admiring the kiss mark from your lipstick before turning your gaze to the girl still clinging to Hobie.

“you see this?” Your fingers uncurled from his chain brushing his Adam's apple as you gripped his chin and turned his head so the girl could see the kiss mark you’d left.

The drunk girl scoffed about to make some probably snarky remark only to be left with her mouth open as you lifted your Hobie's shirt with your free hand.

You purposely grazed his stomach as you shifted his shirt up halfway revealing a few of the matching kiss marks leading to his v-line. you can feel his stomach flutter against your hand and his jaw tighten under your grip on his chin.

He hissed out your name in question on a stuttered breath as you dropped his shirt back down but you ignored him in favour of pushing the shell shocked girl back. Not hard enough for her to stumble but enough for her to let go of Hobie.

One of her friends had the sense to step up and apologize, quickly leading her and the rest of their group away.

You nod to yourself watching them shuffle through the crowd before turning back to Hobie. He was still leant down gaze causing your heart to stutter.

He looked like he wanted to eat you, gaze hooded,pupils blown. You went to take a step back and his free hand, the one not holding your forgotten drink, was quick to grab you. His arm hooking around your waist as he pulled you back against his chest.

He let out a shaky sigh grumbling something you couldn't quite hear against your neck, the metal of his chain choker brushing your shoulder when he sighed again nuzzling his head against your neck.

You could feel the heat in your cheeks as you stayed like that for a while, swaying to the beat of whatever song was playing now as you both tried to calm your racing hearts.

“Hobie..? You alright?” You bring a hand up patting his head gently. The arm around your waist tightens and a shiver racks your body as he huffs a laugh against your neck in response.

He finally pulls back when one of his mates calls his name. He keeps a hand around your waist to turn you both towards Ned, positioning you in front of himself then bringing the arm from your waist to rest over your shoulder as he leaned forward to fist bump Ned.

“Ned! Just the man I was about to go looking for!” Hobie gives a lazy smile as talks giving off a false casual vibe. Anyone who couldn't see or feel his current problem wouldn't know the difference.

You’d swallowed a gasp when he leaned his full body against you to greet Ned. The heat in your cheeks burned hotter and you were grateful for the low lighting of the party or you'd have been caught looking just as shell shocked and flustered as the girl from earlier.

‘That would explain his earlier reactions… I didn't mean to well….’ You glanced at him out of the corner of your eye as he talked to Ned only for him to already be looking at you.

”Isn't that right, Raindrop?” His mouth twitched as he held back a snicker at your startled expression.

“Uh y..y-Yeah!” You look between Ned and Hobie who both start snickering. Before you can ask what’s so funny, Hobie excuses you both, fist bumping Ned, who winks at you two with a whistle as you walk away hand in hand.

You groan in embarrassment watching Hobie's back as he pulls you through the crowd with ease, only stopping to grab your helmets.

He drops your hand when you reach the bike leaving you to fiddle with your fingers as you come up with an apology for his earlier…problem.

“Hobie…? You know I didn't mean to..Mn!” Just as you were going to explain, he slides the helmet over your head. (Hammerspace fireflies! it fits no matter what)

“Hobie! You ass and I was feeling bad for you!” your muffled voice comes through the helmet as you listen to hobie cackle. You glare climbing up onto the bike without his help.

“Don’t be like that love” his voice purrs, crisp and clear, through the coms after he slides his helmet on, even with his face hidden you can see the shit eating grin as he approaches you. “I know you didn't mean it. I was coming to see if you wanted to dip anyways. Just happened to need to leave in a bit more of a rush after you're little stunt”

Hobie bumps his helmet to yours as he brings his hands to rest on your waist. You can't help cracking a smile at the helmet kiss, something you'd taught him when you first started riding with him.

“I'll be however I want mister. You on the other hand need to learn to be meaner to groupies” you bring your arms around his shoulders as you look at each other through the glare of the vizor,matching lovesick smiles painting your faces.

Thanksgiving with the Madrigals!

Just some funny drama, skits, and wholesome things.

Kitchen drama!

Julieta is cooking of course 😋 👌 😌. (*Camilo trying to sneak food but gets popped with a hand to spoon*)

Dolores is the ears to make sure nothing crazy happens mostly to keep Camilo from eating food before its done. Her and Isabella helping cut vegetables and season while Juileta cooks it, she also seasons the food.

Agustin wants to help but he makes a mess (he hurts himself from cutting his fingers, stubbing his toe, and burning himself and his wife heals him he goes with the fellas to do something so he doesn'thurt himself again)

Mirabel planning out everything her, Camilo argue over him doing something wrong like not setting the table right to her catching him slacking on the job (she caught him eating food he snuck out the kitchen under a table or in a closet he has his face stuffed with food looking like a deer in head lights 😆 🤣.)

Antonio is playing with the animals and helping too. Watches cartoons with his dad and tio Bruno with the rat who are eating food in the corner with Camilo.

Lusia help Isabella pick the vegetables and fruits needed, and move tables & chairs around. Helped her mother with cooking too. Her and Isabella help mirabel too from flowers to the guest list.

Pepa and Felix make sure Camilo doesn't eat anything..again.

Pepa and Felix entertain the people with Bruno who has his rat do a performance.

Fights again but this time Camilo and his brother Carlos (just pretend he's in the family I added him in) are fighting over a girl & food...again. the boys fight like it's WWE smack down.

Afterwards they calm down, Carlos tried to help In the kitchen but burned the pie (4 of them) which means he has to in the living since Abulea doesn't want the new Casita to burn down.

Antonio plays with the animals and helps make another pie & does well, he also made cake with mirabel and so he did great.

Eating contest/ fun

Camilo wins the pie eating contest as always. He and Carlos made it into a tie for the last slice.

Camilo entertains others with Carlos with Bruno. Mirabel playing the accordion singing with the others.

They enjoy tales and partying having fun, they have family members coming just to get a plate and leave.

Camilo fixes a 5th plate when no one was looking. (Got caught by Bruno fixes a plate putting extra Mac & cheese eating while fixing the plate) A family member brought their wife over and she made casserole with raisins in it. (Poor Julieta fainted, everyone was sick even Camilo who'd eat anything almost threw up)

Someone said Pepa's corn bread was a little dry (poor fella caught hell. Camilo & Carlos almost choked and Bruno had to intervene before he got hurt, and Felix had to hold her back and Julieta calmed her too)

Side note: owner of the house has been getting remodeling done downstairs from us, their contractor has a little black chi-pom named Taz. Tink loves to say hi to the contractor, so when he came out yesterday, I brought her out front to see him.

Taz realized this beast was talking to his dad and charged across the lawn. I have never seen Tink scramble so fast. She was up the stairs & in the house, hiding behind the couch before I could so much as call to her. LOL

She routinely beats up her Aussie roommate & had huge WWE worthy smack downs with my friend’s husky while we were housesitting, but as far as she’s concerned, little dogs that aren’t her late brother are literally of the devil. 🤣

Two of my most used commands with Tink are:

1. Bring. [search for what I’m pointing at, slap it with your foot to confirm “yes that”, grab it and carry it over, then hold on mouth till I take it]

10/10. Great bc I consistently drop things. Evolved into “Find (item)”. If I drop a meds bottle and can’t see it, I can say “Find meds, Bring” and she will hunt down ANY meds bottles that have fallen and give them to me. This sometimes leads to needing her to repeat the process as there’s three people keeping meds near their seats to remember to take them on a routine & sometimes our elderly cat knocks them off tables while trying to explore in the night. Also very handy when I drop my pen for the millionth time.

2. MOOVOOBUTT. [move your butt, you’re in the way]

9/10. Routinely blocks paths by virtue of her obliviousness about her own size. Sprawls in the bed. Believes her head/spine should be permanently fused to my back & ass all night. If I turn over, she follows. When I try to turn back, there’s a small horse in my way. Works well in tandem with “Brace” when I’m getting out of bed. She will stand/sit next to me and lock down so I can use her as a touchstone till I have my balance, then jump down and head out when I say “moo voo butt” or Release.
