Whoo! Five comments overnight, that's gotta be a record for me!

Like, my one shots are doing so much better in the kudos to views ratio than my multi-chapter fics omg. AND they get more comments!

What is this witchery? Five for 50 Years, and six for Void...and roughly two per chapter on Tapestry of Time... Loose Ends I can't double check because AO3 is down for maintenance, but it's probably the same.

Le sigh. Less than ten percent leave kudos, and even fewer leave comments. In a fandom that's apparently known for great interaction.

With D:BH I thought I wasn't getting as many reads/kudos/comments because I didn't write exclusively fluff or smut. And after about*cough* six years I started writing smut too...and nope. Even less interaction in a fandom that's still going strong.

And now it's like history is repeating itself. Plus fandom is turning into some weird social media misconception about consuming fic or profiting from fic, and I'm like... Hi, please interact with me?

I write because I love to write, but it's a whole lot easier to keep believing in my stories if I get to hear from fellow fans along the way.

So. I'm gonna stop begging/asking for comments, because it doesn't change anything and it makes me look stupid.
