Omg, you’re right about the friend stuff. I deleted insta months ago and now I can’t imagine ever using it again. Why should I include people who don’t care?

Unfortunately it’s mainly my fam that’s giving me the most probs. I think maybe cause they don’t see me as an autonomous adult but rather as the little kid they saw grow up.

I’ve been to trying to think of this from different perspectives and I think that everyone has faced disrespect since the beginning of time. I mean, you could boil down many wars as a matter of respect. Revolutions are about demanding respect. I guess this problem is just hitting me lately. So then I have to wonder, how are we supposed to look at this so we can still operate in the world without cynicism while maintaining self-worth? Not care what other people think? Maybe.

CORECT everyone has !!! i think it’s quite impossible for anyone to stop doing this, as an emotion and as human beings— no matter how much a person changes they still have it in them, sure not verbally but in their mind they def could,, u so right, how do we operate this world without cynicism…i like to think like,, we need cynicism to operate as well— in certain fields. kind of like hood cop bad cop type?? hope this makes sense dbdb
