honestly I don’t even even know what to commentate with. It’s just the quintessential mondo song to me. He’s travelling across the world, he’s getting into hijinks he’s eating burritos with Danny de.vito, etc. he’s balling!

villain based headcanons - no longer accepting

Mondo can vibe with just about anyone, if they’re a party animal or more relaxed and even shy, Mondo’s fine with any kind of hang. He’s a social butterfly in that sense. Someone who can match his energy or even his oddball tendencies - he’s all for it. Strange demeanor, odd mannerisms, no social skills? Mondo doesn’t care. He’ll show kindness in the ways he always does- and it’s nice to meet other screwballs who’ll do the same. Fellow weirdos have to stick together!

CHERNABOG - What’s your muse’s greatest nightmare?

Mondo’s biggest nightmare is difficult to pin down. He has plenty of strange and nonsensical dreams, even frightening ones, but he isn’t really the type to get full out night terrors. That being said… he does get a reoccurring nightmare after the events of the movie. It’s the shipyard turned into a burnt husk, all the signs of when they lived there gone. Only thing alive is Superfly leaning against the railing. He’s always in shadow. Never says a thing, Except to ask mondo why he’d do this to HIS family. their own family. Look at him now,

Mondo never really gets a good look at sf’s face before he wakes up all panicked like he ran all night. Mondo figures he's gotta stop eating so much junk food before conkin out. It doesn't bother him, or- he says it doesn't. And he tries not to feel sick every time he sees a housefly poking around in their trash.

headcanon meme I can’t find - still accepting

I think… honestly, mondo is a lot more unstable than anybody thinks, including himself. I mean- he’s had a moment in the comics where he just- lost his grip and lashed out, destroying everything in a huge tantrum because he’s never gonna be truly free, that even the people who are with him just want to use him, and he can’t be the blithe spirit and/or unaware animal he was supposed to be.

His MM iteration may not- struggle directly with that but. He has some pretty bad habits. He doesn’t like feeling sad, so he shoves it away and drowns it out. He can’t get angry, truly angry, that often because his body physically rejects it. it’s just- It’s wrong, to feel bad. He knows it’s something he can’t not feel, of course, but. He hates the idea of everyone else worrying about him. He’s a chill guy, a party dude. Mondo doesn’t get- sad, or upset. He gets over it.

In regards to what can break him, it’s… probably a big enough loss. He's a teenager, and, to put it bluntly, is not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer. He may not be the best at like, getting that he’s in real danger himself sometimes but with the ones he loves? It’s different. I mean he’s certainly not a stranger to the concept his loved ones could die, but. It’s different if something happens to close friends, to his family, and, he can’t do anything. He can comfort the dying but it doesn’t change the fact they die.

It’s- it would break him. But instead of making him hollow or bitter if anything some of the more.. party animal aspects kick in. He becomes a brighter, more colorful, less complicated version of himself. He’s gonna party and make everyone else smile and not process that grief! He’s gonna smoke and trip until he doesn’t remember his own name, or why he was even upset in the first place. If he crashes and burns, at least he did it for himself, for a change.

For the second question, if it’s only by himself mondo will probably go to like, maybe Berlin Germany or other places in the UK to check out their rave and/or skateboarding scene. To go out on vacation is to get new experiences, and see stuff from a new perspective. He'd love meeting more fellow skaters n ravers from all across the world.

❤️ - How did your muse come to realize their romantic and sexual orientations? Was it difficult to accept? Are they proud of who they are?

Wingnut: they may watch a lotta tv as their main information in the outside world, but I think Wingnut did realize she liked girls because of one thing; not at all relating to the idea that girls are super boy crazy - because like, girls are just better. She assumed this was universal and very quickly realized this was not. I think it did kinda click when she used the interwebs to see other ppl’s cosplays of her favorite characters and was very much hit over the head with “holy shit, women!” Beam.

All jokes aside she’s fine with it! Her family accepts her as she is, there’s some teasing here and there about her complete lack of rizz when it comes to girls but that’s more to do with wingnut’s skill issue than her being gay. She’s not exactly a casonva.

Ray: he never really figured out he was gay specifically until a bit later. He knew he liked dudes he just didn’t really know there was a word for it. He would tend to gravitate towards more monstrous men- stuff like werewolves, sea creatures, some kinds of demons. Cuz, he’s not gonna pretend tht he’ll ever have a chance with human men. He says it’s pragmatism, it’s mostly just not feeling adequate enough. He won’t lie- he was a little jealous seeing how well Scumbug and splinter worked out.

Mondo: He loves everyone, and that translates to romantic love too. Mondo never really had a big realization, just as a fact of life and has gone through it knowing that’s just who he was. Honestly it may be a case where all of his siblings knew before he did LMAO. Probably the most likely to own a big ass tyedye bi flag. It’s one of the best qualities in his opinion- the flag colors are awesome.

💘 - What is your muse like when they're in love? What does your muse find attractive in someone else? What are their love languages? How do they show affection? Do they show any distinct signs that they're in love?

Wingnut: if she gets a crush she’s just over. Thats it. She’s done. I feel like- she does like women who- take up space. Loud outfits, loud personality’s, big women, even bigger hearts, enough tattoos to consider yourself a subway wall, the kind of confidence that feels contagious. Though, even with that type I think she’s way too nervous and shy and would make a fool outta herself somehow.

Give it time and she’ll mellow out a little more, offer to spend time doing things they both like. Most likely to end up word vomiting some kind of confession after awhile of simmering on it. In the end though, she’s got a lot of love to give and isn’t afraid to show it- most of the time.

Her love language is that she’s going to binge watch anime with you and talk the whole time (/JOKES) - but real talk. She loves spending time with the one she loves, even if it does mean she’ll have to sit through something she may not enjoy. The company is enough. She’s no stranger to weird, and if they love her weirdness, she’ll love it too.

Ray: unlike the nervous sorta deal Wingnut has his knowledge of having a crush would be - well, apprehension mostly. Especially if it’s a human. Cuz- ok, he can find plenty of men who like other men, they live in New York, but like. The whole “mutant” thing may be a a bit of a hard sell. Though not as much as it was before the humans had more knowledge of mutants. He’s still unsure about it all. Still, it doesn’t stop him thinking about it.

I answered most of the attraction part already in the other ask. As far as like, showing it. He would make a mixtape, then think about how stupid and corny it is to make a mixtape, sends it anyway. He has his own playlist of love songs that he has- he’d rather eat his own tail, stinger attached than ever tell anyone. This also applies to the crush - he’d never be the type to tell them directly; he’s more than content with the companionship. Because sure he’ll never say it with words but would be like- would use one of the “wings” to shield with rain, knows who their favorite musicians are, stuff like that.

Mondo: oddly enough I think he never gets crushes. Not- capital C crushes very often. He’s an affectionate guy and has a lot of love to share but it’s never really relevant if he’s romantically attracted to someone. For him it’s less like, any sorta qualities of someone it’s more a matter of like. It’s weird to describe but like almost like a soulmate sorta deal, where someone just- Gets You on a level few people can.

He doesn’t take love seriously, which isn’t to say he doesn’t care about it, or even hates it. just means it’s another part of life. So if he does like someone, it just means he’ll do what he always does! Invite someone to go to a rave with him, get frozen yogurt afterward, help practice skateboarding tricks at the park- and somewhere in the middle if he confesses or not, but it doesn’t make much difference to him.

🎸 - Can your muse play any instruments? Do they play them often, or rarely? How actually skilled are they at playing them?

Mondo can play guitar. He’s only played acoustic but he would love to learn how to play electric and even keytar! He doesn’t really have a set time where he goes to practice- it just either happens that day or doesn’t. He prefers to play with people around; weather it’s Ray’s singing or learherhead’s tail thumps just happened to have a beat that day. He can do a lot of songs if they have similair chords- if he has to learn new ones it’s a bit of a curveball. He can’t read music for shit and doesn’t want to learn.

🍔 - What kind of food does your muse usually eat? Do they have a favorite food, or favorite style of food? Do they have allergies? Are they vegan, vegetarian, etc.?

He loves the same food he cooks; comfort food. If it’s greasy he loves it. Though honestly, his standards are not that high. He’s not above eating some pizza out of the trash- provided it’s still in the box. He doesn’t have any allergies- and even if he did he would probably never notice. He’ll eat just about anything, if he’s hungry enough. That being said he does NOT, and will never eat spaghetti- specifically the pasta type, not the dish. It reminds him of worms.
