i wonder if it could be possible that a lot of these kinds of posts are specifically referring to asian radfems who DO use this kind of language? i know that a lot of chinese/taiwanese radfems post on here as of this year although basically none post in english/tag their stuff or interact with english radfems, they're all highly critical of radfems with boyfriends and find them hypocritical/laughable, whereas with english radfems it feels more like a lot of women on here are quite TRA-rhetoric with their "everybody is valid" mentality. i think there's a huge difference between mocking "normie" women with boyfriends vs mocking "radfems" with boyfriends. what exactly is liberation from patriarchy and why do asian radfems have the answer figured out but we're all still arguing about whether or not nigel=bad and if lesbians are oppressing osa women? 🙄 (if you're willing to use browser translation extension, i highly recommend looking into weibo, the radfem communities on there are massive and super unified+informative. literally night and day compared to here lol)

anon so you’re telling me they are offended by women who don’t write posts in english or tag them so these western osa bloggers have to put in the effort to find and translate them? even though these women are quite literally minding their own business?

in general there’s a difference between how people from collectivist cultures and individual cultures see things, for example I feel like in western/english speaking spaces online there is a lot of emphasis on identity rather than action. (so you kinda have a point there with the TRA mentality because they’re more concerned with the label than the actions and beliefs) women on here can call themselves radfems and then feel like someone is taking away their identity of being a radfem when they are questioned on how their actions contradict their beliefs, but did calling themselves radfems in the first place mattered if they don’t fit the criteria? I feel like they sense this on some way which is why they get incredibly defensive in a childish way and feel the need to have everyone validate them and their choices when again it doesn’t hold any real impact on their personal lives. heterosexual relationships are literally the norm and radical feminist spaces are so scarce that you don’t even have to fear criticism (god forbid activist group members challenge each other and hold themselves to a standard) from other radical feminists once you shut off the internet.

idk like??? the future really looks bleak for us because you’re right we can’t unify on anything and it’s exhausting as a lesbian seeing osa women saying we’re incels and only want separatism so we can coerce them into being in a relationship with us and how lesbians are just the worst and in their dystopian fantasy that seems real to them we basically have all the power like some anonymous users online on this silly platform telling them “maybe dating men isn’t the safest thing to do and statistically speaking women are happier without them” is exactly like how lesbians get assaulted for not being into men told by their religious leaders they’re sinners for their sexuality and then getting sent to conversion therapy camps. I feel like if you seriously think that in any capacity you lack critical thinking skills and I seriously question your ability to engage with other women with empathy and compassion.

Having not read all the Sherlock Holmes stories I’m not sure if they’re girlboss-ifying 1895 Mary, but the things I’ve heard about the actress playing her (terfery), Mary’s character fighting for women’s suffrage feels either too on the nose (given the time period) or a slap in the face (translated it to modern times)

I forgot they made Molly crossdress so she could still be a medical professional

1895 Sherlock is the worst of the headcanoned ace rep Sherlock has. Like on one hand, we DO get “oh, Watson, nothing made me [like this]. I made me.” However the “like this” is hating any emotion even though the conversation before this was about romantic love and sexual attraction. And just….conflating those to things to be “all emotion” 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

The way “miss me?” written on a small note sent me screaming. I am positively vibrating with the anticipation of getting to see my horrible consulting criminal againnnnnnn
