((Holly, poppy, and violet from the botanical meme? Or just whichever one piques your interest, if you aren't feeling all three.))
❥     𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒    [   𝚆𝙾𝚁𝙳 𝙿𝚁𝙾𝙼𝙿𝚃𝚂    ] holly :   how strong is your muse’s sense of intuition ? are they aware of it ? do they ever fear that it is only paranoia ?      Her intuition definitely varies in accuracy depending on the situation. For example, her intuition when dealing with anything involving the natural world such as navigation, weather patterns, the ocean, sensing the layout of an area or about creatures/landmarks etc is where her strength really shines.      In regards to sensing danger in general it’s very hit or miss. Sometimes she gets lucky and preemptively senses something is off, but more often than not those calls come when she recognizes how exceptionally dangerous a situation is and takes the time to be overly cautious/paranoid. Otherwise she tends to just charge into situations somewhat recklessly.      Her intuition when it comes to people? Generally hot garbage. While she’s become adept at manipulating people and playing well enough to social scenarios, she tends to rely entirely on snap judgements and noticing physical cues rather than relying on gut feeling or insight. poppy :   what comforts your muse ?      Spanning all the way back from her childhood and teenage years spent at the temple to Sarenrae, one thing that’s always remained a constant comfort for her is a love of reading. Fairytales and adventure novels were and are still her favorite, but other genre stories or anything informational or non-fiction that she can get her hands on work just as well. While she no longer has that desperate need to use books and as an escape, the act of reading still brings her immense peace and there are times where she’ll take whatever book she’s working through to an obscure crevice of the ship where no one can find her and read for as long as she can get away with.      Beyond that, she also finds comfort in sitting someplace where the wind can blow over her without being blocked by structures or buildings. For those she’s at ease with, she tends to display that trust and draws comfort from giving little touches here and there and just being quietly present in the same room as them. violet :   how does your muse respond to betrayal ?      Swiftly, vengefully, bordering on malicious. In her mind, being betrayed by someone she has  entrusted – regardless of if she’s particularly close with them or not – is one of the least forgivable offenses to be committed and is grounds for immediate and harsh retaliation. While the Shackles are populated almost entirely by criminals and being stabbed in the back is almost to be expected, it hasn’t changed her opinion that betrayal from a stranger should be met with the same level of ferocity as if from a close friend.      Loyalty and trust are two of the most vital qualities to have both in a crew when sailing and as adventurers, a belief that has extended into any other interactions she has outside of the Calamity. Being a loose follower of Calistria, goddess of revenge and lust, the deity’s values have also helped instill considerable sway over how aggressively she reacts to treason.

In a similar vein, something I’d love to work into my writing and currently one of my favorite newly established tropes is the entire party giving Rhaya endless shit for how she reacts to Big Bad Main Enemies when she rocks them with a heavy-hitting spell and they understandably turn on her to unleash hell right back. Normally an enemy whipping around and barreling past the rest of the party to kick her ass is met with an immediate backpedaling act of “wait pls noOOO i’m just a lil baby what did I ever do to deserve this??? 🥺 🥺 🥺 ” and it’s hilarious every single time.
