Alex’s Christmas Sleepover 2022!!!

Okay, okay, sooooo

Last year I started this way too late and I also, like, completely failed and didn’t get any of my story requests done, so I greatly apologize for that 😅😅😅 BUT to @shadyrunawaykingdom, @corner-emo​, and @sevenmillionpsychos​, if you still want the same stories that you requested previously, I will write them this year and they will be the very first stories that I put out from this. If you want a new story instead, just let me know and I’ll do that instead. If you’d like to request another story along with your previous one, that’s perfectly fine, just know that your new story requests will go into whatever list I have going after your previous requests are done. If you need a reminder on what story you requested last year, let me know and I’ll tell you!! 

So, now, here’s how things will go. Below, I’ll have listed the characters that I’m currently comfortable writing for categorized by fandoms, as well as different symbols relating to christmas and whatnot. You get to choose if you want a moodboard or story (if you pick story, you automatically get a moodboard as well, please keep that in mind), as well as what character or characters you’d like in it. If you want a story, you get to choose what type of story (smut, angst, fluff, comfort, etc. as well as any combinations - any characters I list that are canonically younger than 18, I will be aging up unless you ask for a scenario that requires them to be younger, just no asking for there to be smut while the character isnt aged up to 18+) as well as if you’d like a shorter story (Around 500-1,500 words) or a longer story (Around 2,000+). You then get to also add in any of the christmas symbols that I list and voila. I shall create something for you 😌

I do ask that you go through this whole post in order to create your request. Also, if you want a specific version of a character (ie, Emo!Wanda Maximoff, Dark!Lizzie Saltzman, Season 3!Eddie Munson, etc., etc..), then please let me know!! guess who started actually writing Typed Awakening :D :D anyways, here's the first draft of the first chapter ^^ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -Chapter 1-

Practically no one was in the cafe this early. The decorative lights on the ceiling creaked slightly as they swayed, being the only noise in the silence. Despite the emptiness, however, a barista was happily working alone, cleaning a cup.

 The door chime rings,

“Morning! Welcome to the Sip & Chill cafe! I can take your order when you're ready, but take your time and glance up at the menu if needed.” the barista chirped merrily, seeming stuck cleaning the same cup a few times over as they mindlessly followed a hidden script. The Stranger chuckled,

“Bit early to be so chipper, isn't it?” they comment, looking up through the brim of their hat. The barista blinks idly at them, not a thought behind their eyes. “... Right… background character… I'll just have a shot of espresso” The Stranger sighs, sitting down as their trenchcoat slightly swoops behind them. They glance to the side, idly looking out the window as a guy with a white and gold hero's uniform swoops down nearby, landing, and sneaking into an alley. “Must be a story scene… shit… glad I stepped in here,” they mutter to theirself, idly glancing up at the barista as they had started working on the order.

“It's sad when background characters don't get much development,” The Stranger spoke idly, “just makes ya wonder what you would be like if you just got a bit more development… if you got to be more of a person.” the barista just continued working, an absent look in their eyes before they lightly set down The Strangers order.

“If you need anything else, let me know!” the barista chirped out again… before once again getting stuck in a loop of cleaning one particular cup. 

The Stranger snorted, “What a way with words you have,” they muttered sarcastically, sipping their espresso. “Though, not too bad with coffee, at least your author gave you that.” 

a distant explosion boomed from the alley across the way as The Stranger downed the rest of their drink, dropping down some money before getting up. “that's probably my cue to leave… shame,” he glanced at the barista again “Take care, maybe I'll run into ya again,”

the door chime rang halfway before the sound fizzled out. the air was silent for a few moments after that but seemed to shimmer with clarity.

Avery blinked a few times, glancing down at the cup they were cleaning as their face scrunched up in confusion. They set the cup down on the deep oak counter next to its clean siblings, hesitating for a moment as they pulled their hands away and looked up again. Avery swore that the now-empty cafe normally had a line of drink orders and full seats of people trying to take advantage of the free wifi. Then again… if it has been empty, have they ever really paid attention to it like this..?

 Avery shook their head and started to walk to the back room, maybe they could find some batteries for the door chime-

a sudden POP startled Avery just as they let the backroom door close behind them, their heart jolting slightly as they turned around and looked back out into the cafe. one of the large decorative lights above Avery's workstation had crashed to the ground, the cheap chain used to fasten it to the ceiling had finally given away.

“Jeez… thank goodness I stepped away, that could have really-” Avery had walked over near where the light had fallen, before pausing. looking up at the other lights, Avery couldn't help but notice that the chains were… fine. it was just this one light that had fallen… and in the one space that they were supposed to be.

i know i made a post way in the past about my different worlds, but I wanted to update it with a bit more details (and add one more because I forgot)

Gala

Gala was my first ever world, it's a area surrounded by a thick fog that is full of magic crystals, strange animal hybrids, and spontaneous fires. Most of the residents are super friendly, and Gala as a whole has a philosophy of helping others so that everyone can live the best life they can ^^

Lorenfall

Lorenfall is Gala’s ‘Sister Dimension’ (basically a dimension of the same exact world but with one event in history being different enough that things don't turn out the same). Instead of settling the landmass that Gala had after The Years Of The Floating City, Lorenfall was founded after the inhabitants of the floating city crashed into an island in the middle of The Misted Sea, aiming to settle there instead. The main thing the change led to was more distrust between the different sections, but at the same time… it was an island, they couldn't exactly easily get away from each other, so the set up a Ringed District system, making sure that people can leave each other alone if need be. (there's a lot of more details, but I wanna move on, feel free to ask any questions tho ^^)

Dieer

I'm going to be completely honest, Dieer came about because of a Warrior Cats apocalypse AU that I made up shortly after discovering the fandom through animations on youtube. The lore of that original AU is that everything was the same until a bit before- something- (can't remember if it was Rusty finding the clans or something else-), but instead of that event happening, the world suddenly gets swarmed with these weird one-dimensional beings, and the clans have to scatter in order to survive, with new clans eventually being formed and settled a few years later. I've started working on it where each clan has their own different lore, and isn't just Shadowclan but not Shadowclan… idk, it's a work in progress.

Conifer Glen

This world came about after I needed to make a short story for a fiction writing class. I made a story of this human being summoned to a magical world just to be hunted down by The Big Bad unless they find *Insert Mcguffin Here*. Idk, it honestly was kind of a last minute thing, but the story kinda stuck with me, and I've been trying to make a world from it when I have time. What I have so far is that, the citizens of Cornifer Glen evolved from trees, and their currently being ruled over by The False Acacia (also known as The Locust).

Cardinal

This world started out as just a place for my Spidersona, Spider-Ink, but I really wanna plan it out more. Only detail I have is that people with superpowers have their powers because of a parasite.

The Island

As I said in the post above… it's literally just the Tomodatchi Life island controlled by an inhuman being (not a demon anymore, still developing her). In the worlds lore, its a pocket dimension made by Alter (the being) in order to trap people there and live off of the energy of their memories :)

Carnyveil(?)

IDK if i like the name, but this is Serv's world! its basically a pocket dimension meant to house this species of shapeshifters that work kind like an ant colony. the Monarch (the first shapeshifter of a colony) makes their own pocket dimension with a theme of their choice, and the Veils theme is more carnival/funhouse/children's play-place type vibes :> I have more details laid out, but I'm thinking of changing stuff up, so I need to have a research day FINALLY GOT THIS DONE AFTER IT DELETED ITSELF, YIPPEE!!!

here's my personal usage/opinion on different emojis: :> - genuinely happy about someone or a situation or whatever :) - I'm either writing trauma for my ocs again or doing some kind of goblin activity :( and :< - I feel sorry for you and hope things are better, or if its for myself, I am deeply upset. >:3 - I will commit a crime if I am given the opportunity, or I feel comfortable enough to joke with you sarcastically. :| - I'm either extremely uncomfortable or disappointed in someone/something o_o - oh 0_0 - WHAT. Day 30:

WOOO!! DAY 30!!! anyway, todays worldbuilding thing is for a world I have yet to finish developing. I don't even really have a name for it other than Servs World (because that's the only main character who is- well, WAS living there) but, anyway, I have a whole interest board for it, and the whole vibe of the place is basically a weird backroom-like nightmare playhouse. there are several sections of the world, including: The Play Tunnels The Fest The Ballpit Sea The Hive The Mirror Maze and inside the hive, is The Monarchs Playroom again this world is very new, but I've been excited to work on it to get a more creepy vibe instead of my normal science fiction/fantasy type worlds :D
