Update with the Minecraft movie sequel concept fanfic I'm planning: I came up with 2 paths I could go down. First path, which I'm calling The Ender Eyes:

this path will focus on developing the end dimension, endermen, and the ender dragon as the new antagonists/hostile environment.

builds more on the new enderman ability for them to mess with the characters heads if they look at them

basic 'call to action': Blocks from the overworld are being stolen, many of the things our characters have built are slowly being picked apart by endermen. deep in the void, an island is being formed. the camera follows an enderman as they put down some more blocks in front of a barren bedrock fountain. a dark shape swoops down from one of the tall obsidian pillars, lighting up the new blocks in a haze of purple, turning the once random assortment into a sickly pale stone material. "soon, the overworld will be made barren, block by block, as we work to rebuild our home."

EXTRA DEVELOPMENT STUFF I THOUGHT FOR THIS PATH:

Enderdragon has a disembodied voice (mouth wont move when they speak), and their voice has a slight sorrow with it.

near the end of the movie, shulkers and enderman will pilot the end ships into battle (idk why, thought it would be coon, kinda like the gast hot-air balloons that the piglins used)

Speaking of the piglens: tensions between our main cast and the remaining piglens (who have all scattered to form separate bastions) will still be pretty high, but in exchange for gold, the main cast can gain information on how to get to the end, plus the location of a fortress for blazerods

Second path doesn't really have a cool name- I'm just calling it the Herobrine path

this path will focus more on a divide within our main cast as everyone is starting to focus on their own things. things might be better now, but the game store still needs to be run and maintained, the zoo also needs maintenance, and building up your own self defence studio from the ground up is not as easy as first thought.

Henry is going to find himself feeling alone again during this as the different people in his life become busier. so, he journeys to the overworld again to try and unwind.

But building only does so much, and most of the villagers are not very conversational. Henry gets an idea.

He tries to code a new friend using the coding skills he has gained from working on Block City Battle Buddies. Someone else for him to build with... that coded in being being Brine (i feel like there could be a joke about Henry misspelling the name- idk)

(ill be honest- i haven't planned out the middle details as much-) but long story short, because of being made of code, Brine doesn't have as much emotional copasity twards the overworld, and starts destroying things for "better efficiency" (examples: large blocked animal farms, the cramped villager trade halls that i know every minecrafter dose at one point or another, flattining the land to make way for bigger builds)

and- that's all i got for that one. idk, lol

anyways yeah! thats the ideas i have so far :)

got to see the Minecraft movie with family today, and I really liked it :D thinking about making a fanfic squeal kind of thing (not full on writing most likely- but just drafting out ideas and maybe a bit of concept art) all I have right now: I want the main antagonist to be the ender dragon, and involve the enderman/end in one way or another. I also want to further develop each of the roles of the characters to more slot into Minecraft playstyles :) this will be a WIP! well- it will be a WIP for as long as i have interest in it, lol

Finished the drawing of Kaelar!

I never really tried digital painting, but I think this is a good first step, I'm proud of this :D
