It isn't like Lucille wanted to do this but she doesn't have a choice but to give in to the request of her dearest friend.

"Come and lets go watch the livestreaming Monza grand prix with me." Her dearest friend, Julia told her.

Lucille knew better, her friend was trying to set her up on a date with a fellow F1 fan.

"Fine but only if you buy the food and drink." She answered her friend with a teasing smile.

"Ugh fine!" Her friend has nothing to say or else Lucille would have backed out.

It was like a dream watching the Ferrari takes the pole and win a race in Italy.

It feel like she is one of the Tifosis in Monza right now, proudly singing the national anthem while waving the color of rosso corsa.

The feeling of 2019 Monza win just being back and repeated again. It was surreal.

Seeing Charles be so happy at the podium, spraying champagne at the crowd below and smiling ear to ear.

Lucille couldn't help but smile too seeing her favorite driver be so happy despite the tragic of his lovelife.

Indeed, he is the Il predestinato they call him.

Dragging that tractor car across the circuit around 53 laps, she applaud both Charles and Carlos for doing well.

It was a win not only to Charles and Ferrari but to the whole Italy and Ferrari fans.

EARLIER (at the middle of the race)

Lucille sits beside Julia in one of the barcade that hosts the livestreaming for Monza grand prix.

Both of the girls anxiously watch the race alongsidw with the fellow fans.

The fans wearing their team favorite merch while Lucille opts for a Ferrari jacket and Julia for a Ferrari cap.

Julia make herself feel like a supportive WAG making Lucille laugh but supports her best friend.

The last lap actions always gets everyone on the edge of their seats.

But

"The Tifosis are roaring him home! And for the second time in his career! Charles Leclerc is the winner of the Italian Grand Prix!"

The whole barcade shouts in joy and jump from their seat to celebrate a meaningful win for Ferrari and for Charles.

Lucille and Julia hugs each other, happy.

"He won!" Lucille said

"He did!" Julia answered

Proud is an understatement.

Distracted

Pairing: Reed Richard's x f! reader Summary: You get distracted in class. Warnings: 18+ only ♡ Minors DNI! It was a cold Friday afternoon in late February and the last lesson of the day has just started. You were sat at the front, only a few metres away from Mr Reed's desk. After taking your books and pencil case out, tossing your bag to the floor you took all of him in. The way the white shirt hugged his torso, arms & back, or the way his black trousers suited him nicely.

As the lesson dragged on by, your head fell into the gutter. You couldn't help but come up with intrusive thoughts about Reed Richard's. He wasn't just handsome but kind and funny, he knew how to make others smile. Even if they've had a bad day, laughs will be leaving their lips.

Chewing on your pen, eyes scanned over Mr Reed. He was sat back on his chair, feet up on the desk taking in the topics of today's lesson. You loved when he was focused on something, biting your inner cheek you couldn't help but rub your thighs together. It was definitely getting harder to focus on what had to be done for this lesson.

Looking at the clock it read 15:20, so you had about 5-10 minutes til the bell rang for home time. Looking down at your paper, you had only written two paragraphs. Mr Reed won't be happy about this, especially that you've got to give it in at the end of the lesson.

Bell rang... 🔔

"Right class, well done for today! Please give me your papers so I could mark them, it'll be given back to you Tuesday next week" heart beating out your chest, palms becoming clammy. What are you going to do?.

As you gave in your paper, a confused but annoyed look fell onto Mr Reed's face. Today is the day, you'd be getting a week's detention. "What have you been doing for the last hour and why haven't you done two pages like I said I wanted to be done during this lesson".

Twiddling your thumbs with your head down in shame "what's going on? Is everything okay at home?" Looking up, your shoulders dropped "everything's fine at home, it's just.." as you looked at him, he kinda caught on what you were saying "what seems to be distracting you lately?" Looking away, "do you mean who's been distracting me lately" eyes widened.

"What was that miss?" Looking back at him, a sigh fell from your lips "you're just very distracting at times okay, there I said it!. Reed didn't know what to say. "I feel flattered, but this can't happen". As you grabbed your things Reed says "where are you going, we haven't finished talking about this".

"Clearly it's just a crush, plus it wouldn-" Reed grabbed your arm and pinned you against the door. His knee slides between your thighs, feeling the heat on his trousers. A red glow crawls onto your face, his hand slides down your panties "is this why you've been so distracted recently?" "Can't be bothered to do your work, because that dirty mind of yours is making up scenarios of what you want me to do to you?" Is that it, hmm?".

Keeping your lips close, looking away Reed grabs your chin "look at me, while I'm talking to you!" A whine left your lips "please sir - please take me how you want me, use me". A smirk washed onto his lips "as you wish".

🌟 Learning Japanese 🇯🇵

The following guide is based on my personal experience. I am not an authority on the matter and I am still barely a beginner regarding Japanese.

What am I doing?

Learning languages seems non-lienar and that's partly true (at an intermediate level). But, when you're first starting out, there's generally clear goals to work toward.

Your Beginner Goals

Study and master kana

Japanese employs hiragana and katakana in conjunction with kanji. Together, hiragana and katakana make up kana.

Learn the kana (hiragana and katakana)

Learn the difference between kunyomi and onyomi (kanji)

Delve into grammar and establish some foundational vocab

Immerse yourself with input content (movies, shows, etc)

Study and practice a basic form of "pitch accent"

Continue developing your vocab and particle knowledge

Learn about polite versus casual talk and social culture

Use the language (letters, blog, diary, etc)

Seek conversations to apply the language properly

Find and study tests like JLPT to gauge your progress

What can I use?

Duolingo

If this was your first pick, you're naive but not foolish. It'll teach you enough to get help if you're lost in Japan. But it won't be enough to hold a conversation. Give it a try and see if it works for you. Duolingo is free.

I recommend using Duolingo as a supplementary learning tool rather than your primary learning tool

Textbooks and Guides

Many learners and even classes praise numerous textbooks. I for one received a recommendation for Tae Kim's Japanese Guide. So, I'll recommend it to you. Don't be afraid to see out other guides or attempt some textbooks. However, one should always remember that the textbook is NOT demonstrative of naturalistic Japanese.

For example, 「私は猫が好きです」 is what a textbook correctly teaches, though 「猫好きだよ」 is acceptable and more natural in casual Japanese

Building vocabulary

If you want to develop your vocabulary, you can use JLPT anki decks. Anki is a flashcard program for desktop and mobile. You can also use anki in conjunction with a dictionary like Jisho to create new flashcards decks (suited to the words you'd like to learn). You may also pick up vocab from Japanese media (i.e, anime, manga, books, content creators, music, etc).

If you're using Jisho and want to find a word you only know in English, search for it using quotation marks. For example, "school" or, if you want a verb "to learn" ~ it should help. You can spell out Japanese words normally by just typing... i.e, watashi.

Good input versus Bad input

Immersing yourself in Japanese media and culture is good but you need to be mindful of the content you're consuming— take note of the context behind events, interactions, or the relationship of speakers. Be especially mindful of anime and manga— both are known to use hyperbolic language or phrases that aren't commonly used in day to day conversation. Fortunately, some anime and manga do use everyday language, and you can usually find lists.

I recommend using the Tofugu blog to learn about both Japanese language and culture. But if you don't like reading, there are many YT channels like Kaname Naito and NihongoDekita with Sayaka. For general immersion though, here's a sweet vlog channel, a JP Warframe creator, and a natural born otaku.
