hearing about how many students/peers my age actually use chatgpt is terrifying

#📜.qi texts #I was talking to a couple friends from one of my classes and we were discussing about studying for an upcoming final quiz #and one said “oh if I don't know how to get the answer for one of the questions (in the final quiz practice papers) I just chatgpt it”#and another went “oh yeah same me too!”#and I was so stunned because ?????? why ask chatgpt when looking for actual accurate information and treat it like a search engine?????????#why use chatgpt to begin with????#the day I actually use chatgpt of my own accord is the day I'm no longer me and I've lost it all #I'll end up forgetting how to write if I just rely on generating ai garbage #(I'll feel like some hound with their teeth and claws filed down something something)#+ the environmental consequences....

Care for Gaza fundraising event interest check!

HELLOOOO! Long time no poll!!!

This is an interest check in whether you guys would be interested if I ran a lil fundraising event for the non-profit charity Care for Gaza !

UPDATE! I'm currently running this event on my blog! Check it out here!! ^^

It'll function like the Gotcha for Gaza fundraising events that different fandoms are organising on Twitter (i.e. MDZS Gotcha for Gaza, TGCF Gotcha for Gaza, SVSSS Gotcha for Gaza)

How the event will work is: 1. Make a donation to Care for Gaza 2. Take a screenshot of the proof of donation 3. Submit proof through a Google form with an accompanying prompt 4. I'll write out your prompt and tag you in the post when completed! The tentative donation cost list looks like: US$5 - SFW prompts US$8 - NSFW prompts OR love letter submission from Mailroom Open! (regardless of SFW or NSFW) I'm thinking of having the submission period run from May 6th to May 12th if it does happen! ^^
