Lucifer

He was a demon whose presence alone can catch a whole room’s attention. You can easily spot it from how he displayed himself—an epitome of perfection.

But alas, it wasn't always as easy to be heard when it came to his brothers. It seemed as if the only time they'd actually do so was when it felt like the whole Devildom could hear his booming voice. But who can blame them, there are 7 of them living under one roof after all. 

It was dinner time and he was in the middle of talking about an encounter with a rowdy demon when was interrupted by one of his siblings. This then prompted another response from one of them to another, and another until it was all just a cacophony of unintelligible talking. Each time he'd try to continue, his efforts proved to be futile, being once again interrupted. He eventually ceased trying altogether and opted to just listen, knowing full well he'd never get to finish. At least that’s what he thought. 

He looked across from him to meet your eyes. They weren't bolting about trying to keep up with the conversation of the others, they were set on him and only him. "Don't stop now! What'd you do?" you asked.

It felt nice, to say the least. He could not deny the warmth that had spread in his chest, knowing his once-shot pride was slowly being mended back together. Although he’s not surprised, considering how you’d happily lend an ear to listen whenever he’d talk about his exhausting days—this instance being no different.

As per our request, he continued on, the incomprehensible chatter fading into the background. The two of you would be in your own little bubble, with Lucifer telling tales as back as hundreds of years ago. Not too long after, his brothers were fascinated as well, enjoying the sense of nostalgia his tales brought. It all eventually ends with only the two of you still at the table—you being left in awe and Lucifer feeling a sense of being appreciated as well as appreciating you.

“I hope you found my stories enjoyable, My Love. If you wish to hear more, I'd be happy to humor you”

“I don't know how you'll be able to beat that one time when you and Mammon switched bodies for a while”

He clamps a hand over your mouth before you can add further salt to that memory of his.

“Shshshshsh. Some stories should never meet the light of day again”

It’s not uncommon for the second born to be drowned out by his brothers. He typically just sulks and adds to the conversation by providing sounds of protest and agreement, but he never gets to fully share with the group.

Despite this, it gives him comfort that there’s at least one person who he knows would hear him even in a place as loud as the HoL. 

In the midst of the chaos, he felt a light tap on his hand. Looking up, he found you staring at him with curious eyes. "What happened next?" you asked, accompanied by a tilt of your head. If he was being completely honest, he was just trying to show off to his brothers— not really expecting someone to actually care which caught him off guard. Now that he did catch someone’s attention, he of course had to sprinkle in some exaggeration, no? He's not called The Great Mammon for Nothing.

He enjoys the feeling of having a spotlight on him. Your spotlight to be specific. He liked hogging your attention like the greedy little gremlin he is, and he’s not afraid to admit it. He’d start to ramble and would have a mix-match of different topics, jumping from one to another totally unrelated story. 

In the chance that you were sharing something at the table and get interrupted by one of his brothers, he doesn’t hesitate to immediately cut them off, no matter what you were about to say. He didn't even realize he did it—the action merely feeling like a knee jerk reaction to him.

"Oi oi oi! Shut yer traps for a minute will ya. MC was in the middle of something”

“...I need to go to the bathroom?”

“Tell us more" He said, the ends of his hands meeting as if in a prayer pose.

📜 Pranks of Monks or Secrets of Medieval Manuscripts

Illuminated manuscript are handwritten book that has been decorated with gold or silver, brilliant colours, or elaborate designs or miniature pictures that explained the text of the book.

The monks copied the manuscripts and, as is the case with boredom, they occasional add drolleries in the margins of the books. There were various images of killer rabbits and other animals, birds, fantastic creatures and other "medieval emojis" unrelated to the text.

The word "drollerie" comes from the French drôlerie, meaning a joke. A drollerie is a small decorative image in the margin of an illuminated manuscript, most popular from about 1250 through the 15th century, though found earlier and later.

Drolleries are amusing figures, often grotesque. While drolleries are often meant to evoke laughter, they may be understood at a deeper level and reveal aspects of society at that time.

🖋️ Lastly, drolleries were but one of the many types of marginalia. Among the more interesting of these are the complaints scribbled onto the edges of texts by the Medieval scribes and copyists.

Some examples of complaints and remarks made by them include “Thank God, it will soon be dark”, “The ink is thin”, and “Now I’ve written the whole thing: for Christ’s sake give me a drink”.

Why is Rassilon everywhere?

Ah, Rassilon! Praise be upon his mighty beautiful head! If you ever feel like you can’t swing a Dalek mutant without hitting something named after Rassilon, you’re definitely on Gallifrey.

Here's a few pointers to why Rassilon is so mighty:

🦸 The Founding Father

As one of the founding fathers of modern Time Lord society, his influence is in every aspect of Gallifreyan life. He's credited with many of Gallifrey's greatest advancements, including the discovery of time travel and the creation of the Eye of Harmony. Multiple powerful artefacts bear his name, like the Rod of Rassilon and the Ring of Rassilon, which I assure you aren't as dirty as they sound.

🐉 The Man, the Myth, the Legend

Rassilon's story is written into the very fabric of Gallifreyan mythology and legend. Stories of his heroic deeds, cunning strategies, and formidable powers are told to Time Tots from the moment they're capable of hero worship. It's said he battled great cosmic entities, outwitted ancient gods, and secured Gallifrey's place as the pinnacle of civilisation. What a guy.

📜 The Eternal Administrator

Even after his supposed demise, Rassilon's administrative policies and laws still guide the Time Lords. He wrote foundational texts that every budding Time Lord studies meticulously, and Rassilon's fingerprints are all over the rule book. It's like every bureaucratic form and procedural guideline has a little note from Rassilon saying, 'do it like this'.

🖥️ The Technological Genius

Rassilon's technological innovations are still in use millennia later. From TARDIS designs to the Matrix, his genius ensures that his presence is felt every time a Time Lord takes a trip through time or consults the grand repository of all Gallifreyan knowledge. Any piece of tech you can think of, Rassilon probably invented it.

🗳️ The Political Powerhouse

Politically, Rassilon’s legacy is unshakeable. His time as Lord President set the gold standard for Gallifreyan leadership. Subsequent leaders often find themselves compared to him, and many of the political structures and titles are relics of his era. He's even so generous as to return from the dead to lead Gallifrey in times of crisis.

🗿 The Cultural Icon

Culturally, Rassilon is the ultimate Gallifreyan icon. Festivals, holidays, and even everyday idioms are sprinkled with references to Rassilon. 'By Rassilon's beard!' is a common exclamation of surprise, while, 'What would Rassilon do?' is the go-to question for moral dilemmas, and the Horns of Rassilon is a hand sign you probably shouldn't do in polite company.

🧪 The Supreme Scientist

And let's not forget his contributions to Time Lord biology. Rassilon’s Imprimatur, a biochemical mark, allows Time Lords to safely pilot TARDISes, effectively bonding them to the fabric of time itself. There’s also the little matter of regeneration. This ability to cheat death every now and then is the cornerstone of Time Lord, and without Rassilon, it wouldn't be possible.

Some would dispute this was Rassilon's invention, but of course, they're liars.

🏫 So ...

Rassilon is everywhere because he's the ultimate Gallifreyan hero, lawmaker, inventor, politician, and cultural icon. His influence spans the practical, the mythical, and the everyday lives of Gallifreyan people, as well as all of you. Just remember—it's Rassilon's universe; you're just privileged to be living in it.

italicized parts are where i am uncertain, square brackets are words i couldn't read or suggestions for what misspelled words could be.

reasonably sure the second half of line 12 and line 13 are the same but I'm unsure what they say; the Procter poem has a line about "the dolphins bared their backs of gold" which matches 12 but not 13.

ALSO i completely agree that someone other than peglar wrote this page. which is unrelated to my typing up this whole thing but. !!!

HELLOOOOOO omg this is so exciting. I'm gonna add this in as well because I already have it made, but ours are pretty similar!!! I think in the second stanza there's a lot that matches up with the procter poem as well...

and i think even with the minor differences between mine and yours and also potter's lol (especially in lines 10-13) it's still amazing to have a different set of eyes on it trying to figure out whats going onnnnn..... in my heart i truly do believe that it was probably henry reciting the original poem aloud from memory while Someone Else (💀...........) was practicing his letters, but its very affirming to have you also agree that someone besides henry wrote this lmfaoo

especially at the "back of gold / call of god / ball of gold" portion, TO MEEE it really looks like the Someone Else (🪦🗻💀🧣📜🪨❄️........) went Ah hell, that's kind of messy-- stop talking for a minute, i want to try writing this line again. before continuing on with the last stanza ("on old england shore" and so forth)

I’m trying to map the whole Monkie!MK situation.

•what we do know

-the stone egg(that SWK was born from) naturally regenerates in LMK

-MK is a stone monkey(like SWK)

-SWK got most of his power by training under the Patriarch. The power he learned under the Patriarch are Toaist/Doaist. Anyone can learn them, but it depends on one’s level of self cultivation. SWK was born with his laser eyes. He got his golden vision from being in the Furnace. He got his multiple forms of immortality from different situations. First (layer?) is from the training under the Patriarch. Next is from crossing his name(and as many monkey he could find) out of the book if the dead. Next 3 are from consuming the peaches, wine and pills of immortality. Last one is his body be refined in the Furnace to the it’s compared to diamonds or an iron hide.

-there is an unnamed Goddess with animal figurines. The Monkey figurine is emphasized.

- the monkey figurine is at the site of MK’s stone egg before it hatched

-SWK is at the site of MK’s stone egg(without the monkey figurine). Staring at it with an intense expression.

-MK’s stone egg is smaller than SWK’s stone egg. SWK was born as a full grown adult. MK is imputed to be born as a small child.

-MK being from the same(regenerated/gave birth again to another life) egg allows his to control and master all SWK’s abilities.

-MK’s birth was intentional. “Destiny had plans for you”. MK is an important pawn to someone else’s plans/game.

•what we don’t know

-why was MK born in the first place? What is his purpose/destiny/mission?

-how much is SWK involved in the situation? Did get a say in any of this?(LMK writer said that SWK doesn’t know about MK’s stone egg. He is just as in the dark as MK)

-is MK, SWK’s younger brother, son, clone or completely unrelated? (update: the writers said SWK isn’t MK’s dad on Twitter. They said that the English version of the show is more clear on this matter)

- who is the Goddess with all the animals figurines? Why and how is she involved in MK’s birth?

- who gave MK all of SWK’s abilities? Was he just born with them? Does the monkey figurine have anything to do with it?

Why was MK left at Pigsy’s in a human form covered in mud, when he is supposed to be born a stone monkey?

-Did SWK leave him there? Did the Goddess or was it someone else?

- why is MK’s monkey form only coming out now? Are the visions/suppressed memories triggering it? It it just being in the memory/history scroll 📜?
