tfwiki has a bunch of new cities on cybertron listed with very little info on them, so, my city now. Here are some short blurbs of how they fit into my worldbuilding for Rise.

❱ Praxium -- one of like six or seven satellite cities attached to Praxus. These are where you live if you can't afford or don't want to pay for the absurdly inflated property values in Praxus itself. Praxium is tucked into the nook of a mountain range and would have nice views of the northeast Sea of Rust if it weren't for Praxus itself, which is kind of in the way. (Praxus is a hive city, so, imagine a mountain that's constantly belching smog and you have about the right mental image.)

❱ Plurex -- a satellite city of Meridia, built in the Plurex Flats, which are a developing extensional graben about halfway between Meridia and the Sea of Rust. Cybertronian geologists are currently anxiously biting their nails about whether the Flats are going to sink into the Sea of Rust eventually. Very few people in Plurex care, because they're all pretty sure the Meridia state government is going to mismanage them into oblivion first.

❱ Vaporex -- a particularly small satellite city of Protihex, which is so far East that it should probably actually be West instead. Ratchet lived here for a while working as a junior doctor for the infrastructure company his cadre were also working for, and was bored out of his wits.

❱ Pellechrome -- a satellite city of Polyhex, built as a staging point for the mine workers as they dug deep into the Manganese Mountains, which grew a little larger than expected. Due to a combination of difficult foundational geology, competing business interests, and corruption out the wazoo, large parts of the city were stuck in development hell for multiple millennia. To this day, the mismanagement continues. Pellechrome is where potholes go to make it big.

❱ Doradus -- a satellite city of Ibex, built around the giant eroded pit of what used to be Cybertron's only decent gold mine. The gold ran out, the mining companies left, and Doradus became a hotbed of iniquity and crime. Everything here is painted yellow because of a failed attempt at pivoting to a tourism economy. Unfortunately Doradus has literally nothing else going for it, so the tourists never came. Depression capital of Cybertron.

❱ Damaxus -- the only city on the Hydrax Plateau, which technically still belongs to Thetacon although there's an ongoing movement to have it declared a state in its own right because it is getting Large. The Hydrax Plateau is currently an island being lifted out of the Sea of Rust, which has been identified as a potential future source of major economic minerals and is thusly being colonised by mining companies. Thetacon is currently playing Favourites with issuing permits and leases, so some of Cybertron's biggest mining companies have teamed up to commit capitalist-on-capitalist violence. In the meantime, Damaxus is a permanent construction zone.

❱ Valvolux -- a satellite city of Tetrahex, built as a hollow-mountain hive inside a mountain range. The name has the glyph for light in it, but this was either wishful thinking or the founders making a mean joke, because it's always fucking cloudy here, and the clouds are full of smoke and smog and shit off the Praxian Coast so it's not even a nice sort of cloudy. On the bright side, there's a big energon mine here, so Valvolux has been voted most likely city to survive the coming economic collapse for three years running.
