“I guess… it was one of the only choices. I always had little reaction to bodies as a kid, I liked science, and needed a way out. When I tried for the apprenticeship, everyone was able to tell I would be a perfect fit.”

“I’m glad it was, since it grew from a way to escape into an interest, a door to opportunities, and lets me help people reunite with their loved ones one last time. It doesn’t matter if they go in the ground right after, if I can help someone when they are feeling their worst, I’ll be satisfied. So I guess when I realized that, I decides to stick to it for real.”

Mikado woke up on the streets, looking around him confused he tried to remember the last thing he did but nothing came to him, thinking more he realized he doesn't recall much. With a bit of further walking around as he was trying to figure out where to go.

While he was wandering around confused and lost he eventually bumped into your muse, he bowed.

"My apologies, i wasn't looking where i was going." He's back to wearing the mask and that itself seemed off, he had previously stopped wearing it and it had seemed to be a permament thing so he shouldn't be back to it. "Well in any case! I have things to do~" He moved to... Leave? Huh, your bond with him should be different than that, he shouldn't be giving such a brief conversation, maybe it's a good idea to stop him.

After a very long night of having to deal with people in the outside world you realise that you hadn't seen Astra for a while it's almost like they went missing. You texted Miu trying to find out where they were but all Miu responded with was

"They left 3 days ago to go to the grocery store and I've been at my workshop so idk if they got home"

You had checked their house they weren't there.

When all hope had seemed lost of finding Astra without future foundation you see skipping towards the house far to happy for someone who went missing for 3 days straight and not even their housemate knew where they were.

And when you looked into their eyes you were met with the despair filled gaze that you remembered seeing before. What happened to Astra.
