// I wanna talk about the Dough-Baby side muse while I make their icons. They're not gonna get a big bio on account of not being a big muse, but here are some headcanons I have about them anyway.

The Dough-Baby is currently living in the cookie castle with the Gingercrew, they have their own room and everything. It's only temporary however, as they ARE still trying to find the baby a permanent family.

The Dough-Baby has a weird connection to the Beasts, due to being exposed to their magic while being baked in Butter Roll cookie's lab. They can thus 'sense' when a Beast has awakened or is on the move, and will get anxious and afraid if so.

Another connection they have to the beasts is their emotions. If the baby cries, the Beasts' power becomes stronger. If the baby laughs, the beasts' power will be weakened. But this only works if they're within any of the Beasts' vicinity. So I guess the Beasts will know to kidnap them if they ever come to the cookie kingdom now?

Despite not being old enough to possibly have a complete flavour yet, they faintly smell of wedding cake.

Their favourite toy is a Bear Jelly Toy that is kept in the crib in their room!

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!" Mamaaaaa! They don't like the scary clown beast!!!

...is that her baby crying? ...............IS THAT THE STARSDAMNED CLOWN???

"SHADOW. MILK. COOKIE."

Oh, look! It's the Dough-Baby, all dressed up in a pumpkin costume! And it seems they're nomming on a Halloween candy that they got from Gingerbrave and his friends.

What an adorable sight, what will you do?

"Anybody know what this is?"

"WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Someone doesn't know what a baby is, it seems.

"Uuu..." They don't like the cold or the fires....

"Oh goodness-- uh, I-It'll be okay, baby... I have blankets if you want...!"

Uzi was putting on her 'squinty-face' as she heard N's story. While she wasn't sure about most of it, she at least believed the 'I got mauled' part; them toys are vicious. How he was able to get away with just a hurt arm, though, was a mystery; Most drones were torn up beyond recognition, according to some survivors.

"Y-Yeah. Sure. Let's go. I'll call a train to take us back once we get to the station." She had two working arms and could activate the panel to do it, after all. N probably shouldn't use his as much, don't make it worse.

She held his hand to lead him out, to make sure he didn't get separated from her on the way out. She couldn't go home without him, the others would get too suspicious of her if there was mysteriously one less drone on one team.

Man, the theater was just so big. Chairs and boxes and other things were scattered everywhere in all of the different areas. And the puzzle pillars were all conveniently out in the open. Why was this place slanted in the toys' favour? Uzi hated this. Someday, she was gonna rebel and get out of this awful place. She had just begun to stretch one of her arms to prevent it from cramping when she felt something suddenly drip onto her hand. She stopped in her tracks to look at what it was.

Blood. That only meant one thing. Uzi looked up to see what it was, and froze. It was another drone from one of the teams, strung up in a spiderweb akin to a net, filled with other drone body parts. Poor sap had been ripped in half, and her organs could be seen on the verge of slipping out. If Uzi could, she'd be vomiting now. How long had that other drone even been up there and not died yet?

"Hands..." the torn-up drone said hoarsely.

"What did you say?" Uzi asked in response. "I couldn't hear--"

"HANDS!" she suddenly shouted before a pink, rubbery hand from the darkness above suddenly reached down and grabbed the poor drone and pulled her up. All that could be heard from up there was the sound of screaming and someone else eating, with oil and organs occasionally falling back down and splatting onto the floor, missing the two workers below..

Uzi's grip on N's hand tensed as she realized what this meant. And her suspicions were correct as the giant rubber spider reared it's head...

"Well, isn't this exciting? More guests to join Mommy for dinner~!"

"...RUN." Uzi whispered to N, now in full panic mode as it was clear that they were in imminent danger.

“ahahah—uh, wings? i had wings?” N’s screen beeps, portraying an expression of mixed horror and confusion. he tugs at his collar nervously. “i-if i did, i don’t know! i was…”

[ IT’S OUR LITTLE SECRET, REMEMBER? ]

…right. well, he can at least give some truths. even if he doesn’t tell her about everything. N flinches a bit as his shoulder sparks again. his wound is starting to drip vital fluids… it’ll be fine! totally fine. absolutely okay.

“i was grabbing something i’d seen V drop yesterday ‘cause she was in a hurry, but something happened? i think i got mauled?” he offers an uneasy shrug and a really awkward pained smile, “not sure what happened after that! or, uh, why i’m all the way in here now.”

he nervously chuckles, then rapidly half-turns when his sensors pick up audio in the distance. thank goodness he doesn’t need to breathe or he’d be hyperventilating right now.

“h-how about we get back to base? and maybe pretend this never happened?”

"Uuuu...."

"Whew... I second that, Dough-Baby; I-Is it just me, or is the air getting kinda hot in here?"

"....Ah."

"Uuu...." Uh-oh, they're gonna start crying--

@ferretraised sent: “ doughy !! baby - dough ! ” here comes the big sis, all ready to play with the little one. “ Ah ! there you are. C’mere - you’re with me today. Aren’t you the luckiest ? ” she’s already scooping them up. It seems they don’t have a choice. / / I had to okay :’)

"Uuuu...?"

The sleepy baby opened their eyes a bit when they heard what sounded like a cookie making noises, and felt someone slowly picking them up from where they were lying down.

They slowly opened their eyecings, and allowed their vision to clear slightly. When they could clearly see, they noticed who it was...

Honey cookie! Big sissy!

The baby's tired expression changed almost immediately when the older cookie picked them up, snuggling into her arms.

"Uuuuu, bbbbbb! Heheha!"

They seem so happy to see you, Honey cookie! Now, what do you want to do today?

Electric Eel is going to try to cheer up the baby with their floofy looking fin!

"Uuuuu...?" The infant seems to stop crying for a moment as they notice the other's floofy fin. They stare for a bit, and then...

...Oh! The Baby has grabbed the fin!

"...Hehe... haha!"

Aaaaww, how adorable. It seems that this has cheered the baby up a bit. They seem too focused on what they're now doing-- which would be slightly tugging on the fin they'd grabbed-- to think about the B-e-a-s-ts'!

And cue the sigh of relief from Custard Cookie III. Whew, that could've been quite a lot of crying he would've had to stop....

"Oooo!" They have been kissed! And so has the baby dough!

They and the dragon are gonna smooch the big sis right back!!

They can clearly see the adults' mouths are moving, meaning that they are saying something.... but they cannot hear a thing because their Auntie Chili Pepper has put noise-cancelling earmuffs on their head.
