🔮 ⤷ Random and Unimportant Soul Rider Headcanons [Pt.1]

These are all mostly based on my own OC-ified versions of the Soul Riders, but I thought it would be fun to share nonetheless >:)

Linda collects plushies. Her bed is absolutely full of them, all different sizes, colours, styles, etc - as well as a lot from different fandoms she's in. For those that already came with names, she reassigned them names, and probably writes them all down in a designated notebook with cool little stickers and doodles of them.

Lisa is THE plant mom. They all buy her plants for her birthday, and they are like her children. Sometimes she’ll come home from long trips and find that some of them have wilted, and it’s the most heartbreaking moment for her as she tries desperately to revive them.

Anne will often get someone's attention by calling them by their last name only. ("PETERSON! What the HELL are you doing??")

In Linda's backpack, she has pretty much anything she could ever need. 4a. One of the things she carries is a small pocket notebook, where she writes snippets of poetry from random thoughts she has throughout the day, which she will inevitably look back on hours later (having forgotten what she'd wrote) and sit there thinking “Damn, that’s really shit why did I think that was cool and aesthetic”.

Alex has her friends saved in her contacts under the silliest of names. Linda as 'Sister of the Cheese', for example, or Anne as 'Sunshine [derogatory]'.

Lisa wears odd-coloured shoe laces. The most notable are her Converse, which are also covered in colourful patches, doodles, and embroidery that the whole group has contributed to.

Anne and Alex engage in aggressively cheesy, jokey flirting with each other, despite their relationship being purely platonic. This is probably down to the fact that they have the dirtiest minds. Sometimes they’ll just greet each other like: “Hey, sweetcheeks.” “Hey, sexy.”

Anne just has really cold hands?? Like, all the time??

Wall-hangings and tapestries are a big trade-off between Linda, Lisa and Anne.

There was definitely a moment where they all found out that Alex can rap really well. Eminem better watch out fr.

Linda collects scarves ready for the Autumn and Winter. Like, imagine her just browsing lil shops in Jarlaheim and she comes across a scarf she really likes, is just like UUUUEEE >:)) She is the Pinterest girly.

Lisa can't swim, but would really like to learn how. Until then, she is the designated rubber-ring dweller.

Alex cracks her knuckles. All. The. Damn. Time.

Anne absolutely loves card and dice games, and will challenge the others to a game or two if they have the stuff available. She probably carries around a pack of cards with her.

Alex is a WhatsApp sticker FIEND. She has a bank full of meme stickers to send in response to anything.

It's even worse if your custom farmer is also a dark skinned poc. Originally was going to be a simple palette swap, but I also ended up giving her little braided pigtails because girldad Sanjay who takes turns braiding hair with his daughter- yes yes- but in reality, i'm not asking for a unique child of both sexes for each suitor, but a palette swap at LEAST for the dark-skinned suitors in ANB would be nice.

i’m alive but i’ve also been dead at the same time. new years killed me (at work) and i’ve just kinda been working nonstop. i’m having a friend visit me this upcoming week so perhaps i may return after ..?

Something I genuinely love about XLOV is their concept is so incredibly queer.

Not just queer in LGBTQ contexts because of the whole genderless/gender non conforming theme

But queer in an eccentric and peculiar way.

In the most positive way possible.

They're not just doing something different for different sake, this is something they actually believe in and put alot of thought and effort into. If you're gonna do this you have to full send that shit.

On top of the fact that Imma be literally has crack in it, XLOV is definitely a group that leaves you yearning for more. Whether you're an evol or not you want to see what they do next, what else they have in store, if they're debut looks like this, what's their comeback gonna look like? People will see something different and want to know what the hell its about.

And that's so fucking cool

Theres a reason so many queer people love tf out of XLOV. Because they're queer!

// I wanna talk about the Dough-Baby side muse while I make their icons. They're not gonna get a big bio on account of not being a big muse, but here are some headcanons I have about them anyway.

The Dough-Baby is currently living in the cookie castle with the Gingercrew, they have their own room and everything. It's only temporary however, as they ARE still trying to find the baby a permanent family.

The Dough-Baby has a weird connection to the Beasts, due to being exposed to their magic while being baked in Butter Roll cookie's lab. They can thus 'sense' when a Beast has awakened or is on the move, and will get anxious and afraid if so.

Another connection they have to the beasts is their emotions. If the baby cries, the Beasts' power becomes stronger. If the baby laughs, the beasts' power will be weakened. But this only works if they're within any of the Beasts' vicinity. So I guess the Beasts will know to kidnap them if they ever come to the cookie kingdom now?

Despite not being old enough to possibly have a complete flavour yet, they faintly smell of wedding cake.

Their favourite toy is a Bear Jelly Toy that is kept in the crib in their room!

The jewels and heirlooms that were passed onto the members of House Targaryen by their forebearer, Aenar Targaryen, after he moved his entire household and the family’s dragons to Dragonstone

A/n: This post takes a brief look at what jewels and trinkets House Targaryen would have had in their possession. For diadems, I drew inspiration from Kokoshnik headdresses and tiaras. For bejeweled dragon's eggs, I drew inspiration from Fabergé eggs. I will be willing to answer any questions about them further down the line.

Other than the crowns worn by successive Targaryen kings and the Valyrian steel swords Blackfyre and Dark Sister, many jewels and heirlooms could be found within the vaults of both Dragonstone and the Red Keep. Alas, many, if not all, of these treasures were lost during the wars that followed the Dance of the Dragons, or due to King Robert Baratheon’s follies.

One cannot begin without first turning one's attention to the diadems worn by the ladies of House Targaryen. Crafted out of finely forged Valyrian steel and formed in the shape of a crescent, these diadems were sometimes inlaid with gold. Visenya was the only noble woman of her house to favor one made purely out of Valyrian steel and without further adornment. Her sister, and in time, her brother’s other queen, favored both gold and Valyrian steel and adorned it with many jewels. These were first worn by both queens when they each turned ten and six, and they would go on to wear them when their brother and lord husband, Aegon the Conqueror, was declared king and lord protector of the seven kingdoms. In time, Queen Rhaenys’ diadem would be worn by successive queens during their anointing. Queen Visenya’s, on the other hand, was consigned to the vaults deep within the bowels of Dragonstone to appease both the nobles and the common folk alike.

There were other diadems and circlets as well. These were less ornate and were worn by the princesses of House Targaryen on their wedding day. Some were allowed to keep what was given to them as gifts, and others were returned to the vaults. The six brides of Maegor the Cruel were all gifted with diadems of their own, but each was reclaimed and returned to the vaults due to death or disgrace. Good queen Alysanne preferred a circlet over the heavier diadems. Hers was wrought of white gold with a single, flawless diamond in the center. Aemma Arryn, upon her wedding day, received a Valyrian steel diadem made to her measure, and it was adorned with both sapphires and diamonds to symbolize the colors of House Arryn.

While diamonds and sapphires and amethysts and even dragonglass were oft favored, rarer jewels that were created in the forges of Valyria were used as well, though sparingly. The art that went into the making of such stones was a jealously guarded secret, one that was taken to a watery grave when the doom claimed that fabled land. Brilliant dragon’s eye rubies make up the chief of such a rare hoard, along with purple opals with fiery gold and orange streaks that appear like dragon flames. A queen’s gems, they were called, and they were reserved only for the queen herself.

Besides priceless jewels, House Targaryen had within its possession many heirlooms. Dragon eggs that had turned to stone due to the passing of the ages were one. Tableaus and gods and great heroes carved out of the gold-veined Valyrian marble were another. Then there were the bejeweled trinkets crafted to look like dragon eggs. These were made from gold and silver and even Valyrian steel, and decorated with precious gems, motifs, and even colored glass.

A vast number of necklaces and cuffs and rings and many other adornments led to the swelling of this collection. And these were given to anyone who desired them, as they were made and procured with great ease. These were given as bride gifts to noble women that wed into the family, or as coming-of-age gifts to daughters that attain the age of ten and six. Nevertheless, these gifts were highly prized and were treated with great care more often than not.

It must also be mentioned that even the lords of House Targaryen indulged in adorning themselves, with Maegor the Cruel and Baelor the Blessed being two of only a handful of royals who refused to do so. These adornments came chiefly in the form of rings, medallion belts, and rings for their fingers and even their hair. The lords of Valyria of old saw no shame in wearing jewels and many of those who came to live on that dreary fortress called Dragonstone followed this notion as well. More than one Targaryen lord appeared at court bedecked in gold and jewels and Valyrian steel, and more than one noble lady (and, if the rumors were true, more than one noble lord as well) found themselves enchanted by the sight.

Such dazzling displays of wealth and power lasted only as long as House Targaryen did, and the realm has not seen the likes of such since it fell.

for someone identifying as a physical nonhuman, i dont really feel my phantom limbs all that much. i suppose it makes sense in a weird way-- i don't exactly feel my "human" ears, so why would i my doberman ones? i only feel them when i'm deliberately putting on a show (usually that of confidence or anger, as that seems to be the emotion my dog-self... embodies.) i feel my doberman tail often enough, although that more manifests as a point of pain than anything else.

on the contrary, though, i feel my therian phantom limbs are lot more often, as they were more integral to my past life than my dog ears are to my current one. i was a dragon in a past life, a hivewing-- and we had a row of flexible spines lying across our backs that we used in a plethora of ways. to communicate, to show emotion, to make noise, literally anything. i feel them constantly, pressed under my shirt-- flaring open when someone pisses me off, clicking together in an attempt to make music-- i feel them now, just thinking about it.

idk. i just found this realization interesting. i wouldn't feel my doberman ears intrinsically-- i am a dog now, and no one can actually see my ears, henceforth, my brain doesnt make the connection to use them unless i'm actively engaging in dog behavior. but my dragon spines-- i have already lived a life using these things, they come naturally to me, henceforth, i feel them consistently.

just realized there's an overlap in some of my muses: School-age Little Guys who are treated by the narrative as being objectively perfect, and without flaw. Regarded as special by others. Possible Love Interest for the Heroine, but it might not work out. Very popular with the other students, and might even be a school idol. Bonus Points if they have a hidden second nature that's much more intense or sinister than the palatable school persona. This might be their true nature, or simply a nature that is forced upon them. Emotionlessness is optional but not mandatory!
