hi trout!!!! i hate to break the immersion but i am from the star spangled u s of a 😔 i do, however, read lots of brit lit and also worked very closely with a ton of irish ppl for an extended period of time + am obsessed w accents and the cadence that people speak with so i think a lot of that gets reflected in my writing. i tend to use european spellings when i write hellhound as well to make it feel more local lol

taking one second to say im in a similar situation (still getting my bachelors at 24 n wont be done before 26 lol) and ive only had one semester on campus so far but ive had a classmate that was 31 at a pretty small uni, someone who was 28, tons in the mid 20s, and the younger students were honestly really chill about my age. i hope you do make friends and enjoy the experience. i know its super stressful and life always feels like a race that youre losing but our lives have no roadmaps. you do whats best for you!! <3
