Both the girls have curly hair and brown eyes like me. But Marguerite has blonde hair like Erik while Scarlett has brown hair like me. They both have Erik's eye shape and my nose.

Marguerite's first word was 'Papa'

Scarlett's first word was 'Lovey' which is what I call Erik. Her second word was 'Mama'.

💕: which parent does your child tend to cling to? does it make the other parent jealous?

Marguerite is a daddy's girl, she absolutely adores him and follows him around like a puppy. It doesn't bother me, I think it's sweet that she likes him so much.

Scarlett is attached to my hip at all times. She's only 2 and is in her clingy phase to me, same as Marguerite was. Erik isn't too bothered by it, it's not like she avoids him, she's a very snuggly girl and does like hanging off him occasionally, and she'll likely grow out of it.

🍼: what's your child's comfort item and where did it come from? is it a hand-me-down?

Marguerite has a bear she calls Pierre that she was gifted when she was a baby that she used to carry around with her all the time. Now that she's older, she just sleeps with it and sometimes takes it with her to new or big things.

Scarlett has a small security blanket with her name embroidered on it that was made for her by a family member. It's pastel yellow and lavender and she carries it everywhere with her and wants to cuddle it, not be covered with it, lol
