Writing down the painful art idea I had thanks to this song Promise - Laufey (thanks Max for sending me the song) so I can look at it later

It made me think of Loofa going against their fears or leaving their universe to see the other version themselves (Fool's) partners, specifically En for this idea. Watching them both from a far and just feeling so empty just wanting this for themselves too...

It just eats away at them until eventually they just go in and pretend to be Fool to just get a hug from him and not stay very long after that, and yes they almost start bawling their eyes out at how warm and soft it is, and how loving his embrace is. (Very touch starved)

They never had this before, they just wish they could stay forever and never have to give up this feeling. But they know he isn't theirs, he's that other version of themselves husband. They don't want to interfere with that.

So they leave back to The Murk after this just feeling more empty than before they left, craving that feeling of warmth they'll never have. Silently grieving for a love they could have had.

They broke that promise they made to themself, to never interact with that universe. A part of them wishes they never did.
