viktoriya has never been good at comforting. painfully aware of the compassion she held on a short leash- she runs a comb gently through decima's hair, after pouring a cup of perfectly warmed water over their head- rinsing suds from the red curls.

viktoriya passerine did not miss anyone- . but bianka adler held an uncomfortable amount of nostalgia, and longing- too much for that tenderhearted girl's own good.

"i miss the girl i used to be." viktoriya and decima spoke of their pasts often together. very few knew of the connection of bianka adler and viktoriya passerine- at least, those who still drew breath. (viktoriya let bianka out of the bricked in walls of her heart.) "i grieve for her everyday." viktoriya begins to gently apply a conditioner- after which, carefully clipping their hair up so she can start washing their back.

viktoriya's hands deftly apply her favorite soap to a sponge, lathers it up, and begins to gently wash their back- scrubbing in circles. (bianka was so tired, she once told decima. it's safer for that naive and foolish girl to stay locked away- it is quiet and the wine is very sweet.) "you can and should grieve, but don't let that grief consume you. we can't change the past." they pour another cup of perfectly warmed water onto decima's back- rinsing the soap. her long and slender arms reach out- and wrap around them, her hands warm and calloused. "you carry a heavy weight, and you may not be able to ever set it down- but your burdens are my burdens, decima. if you need to cry, to weep and wail- i will be here, my arms open and a neck to cry into."

viktoriya runs her fingers through decima's hair, untangling and smoothing. she sings quietly, a mondstadter lullaby to the sleeping decima, and kisses the top of their head. "sweet dreams, for my sweet witch."
