A member of the Armed Archeologists faction of the Intelligentsia Guild, Raoul is a rather eccentric individual, but his near enciclopedic knowledge regarding artifacts of all kinds make him a rather respected and sought-after scholar.

A former "retrieval specialist" (a.k.a. mercenary, though he prefers the term "treasure hunter"), Raoul was forcibly recruited by the IPC and made to join the Intelligentsia Guild after he was cursed by one of the artifacts he was hired to retrieve, in exchange for continued access to the necessary technology to stave off his curse (which would turn him into an ice statue otherwise), which the IPC has exclusive rights to.

While he admittedly loves his job as an Armed Archeologists, he hates having his 'debt' with the IPC constantly dangled over his head.

Over the years, Raoul has learned to control his curse enough to be able to use it in combat, turning his arms into a nigh-indestructible crystal to deliver powerful slashes to single enemies with his Basic Attack, Cold Snap, or hit all enemies at once by shooting crystalline shards with his Skill, Snow Flurry. With his Ultimate, Ice Age, Raoul covers himself in crystals and punches the ground to summon crystalline stalactites to hit and instantly freeze all enemies, a state he remains into for two more turns, during which he can only use his Enhanced Basic Attack, Frost Bite, a single powerful slash that hits all enemies and applies Dissociation to at least one target. His Talent, Hail Warning, drops stalagmite-like constructs on all enemies at the end of his turn, and his Technique, Flash Freeze, instantly freezes and causes damage to enemies with Ice Weakness and applies Ice Weakness to all enemies without it at the start of combat.
