THE POWER OF ACCEPTANCE.

Aichi has ACCEPTED fully and truly in this moment WHO HE IS: the good and the bad, the light and the shadow, the pretty and the ugly. He doesn’t blame his ‘dark side’ on Psyqualia because it wasn’t what created it. No, it’s been apart of Aichi, something that probably got built in the back of his mind as a form of ‘revenge’ as it were for how others treated him when he was younger. Psyqualia just brought it out and full, giving Aichi the power to do onto others as what had been done onto him.

It’s a side of Aichi that he doesn’t like when it comes out. He doesn’t like hurting people, especially those he loves, but he also accepts its as a part of him as his other traits. They are BOTH Aichi Sendou, just as Blaster Blade & Blaster Dark are BOTH his avatars. 

Light and Darkness are a part of everyone, and that isn’t a bad thing. It’s a part of being human. It’s only once we accept ALL parts of ourselves, some of which are usually in conflict like the two selves Aichi has, that we can bring about the true strength that lies inside each of us. 

And with this new view, one born of out compromise and symbolized by Majesty Lord Blaster, he reaches out to Ren, someone who is very similar to him in many ways. Despite all that Ren’s done, despite what kind of person he has shown to be, Aichi still ACCEPTS HIM. 

He sees with clear eyes, not clouded by rage, that Ren isn’t some supervillain. He, much like Aichi, he’s a human whose been hurt by the world and has a light and a dark side. It just so happens he’s been rejecting the light side, an opposite thing to what Aichi had been doing with his dark side. It’s this understanding, and opening his heart to someone who had been his enemy up until now, that allows Aichi to finally save Ren and help him too accept himself.

Absolutely love Ren points this out cause yeah. AICHI IS HELLA STUBBORN (It’s why him and Kai getting mirrored character arcs of what the other went through in S3 in S4 is so brilliant. Could write a whole post about that). 

One might not think that considering his usual timid nature, but he holds onto what he thinks so strongly all the time. Most of the time, that’s a good thing. It’s what allows him to keep going through the most difficult of circumstances. We’ve seen that over and over again when he’s faced with adversity, how he refuses to give up and just keeps doing his best for the sake of his goals.

And then you have the double-edged sword side here where Aichi is so convinced there is no other option and he doesn’t want to get Kai involved (makes sense considering all the shit Kai went through in S3 and Aichi knows how its no doubt eating him alive and doesn’t want to make it worse) that he won’t even listen to alternatives, even coming from someone he trusts like Ren. It’s just like how he tried to force through things in the past (just using the gold paladins in S2 instead of really trying to bond with them, like he did with his royals, for ex) and how that led to his downfall.

Anyway, my boy is stubborn, makes a ton of mistakes, but learns from them and grows with experience. And that is something admirable that I love about him <3
