The phone almost rung out by the time someone picked up. The line was silent for a moment.
" Tiffany? Is that you?" It was Camilles voice.
Tiffany held the back of her head, peeking into her room to see if Billy was awake.
He was missing from the bed, quickly spotting him at her desk, he had picked up the phone. She heard Camilles voice through the phone and her eyebrows shot up in surprise as she observed Billy from the doorway. She was overjoyed Camille could call, but.. It set in.
Billy..had the phone.

Billy froze for a moment upon hearing that woman's voice, he hadn't heard it enough to fully recognize it just yet. He hesitated to speak his breath catching in his throat as though he was suffocating in his own mind.
He quickly started giggling before he spoke, the giggle itself was maniac and insane in nature. "N-N-Nope not P-Pretty P-P-Piggy!" He spoke with a sick playful tone, as if he found amusement in this.
Which in a way he supposed he did find amusement in talking to the woman again, however he was also faking it slightly in a way he could quite describe. He was almost being like a toddler strangely enough with his playful tone.
Tiffany listened and observed, seeing him freeze once he heard her voice. Did he know it was Camille? Her voice sounded a bit different over the phone. Either way, anyone with Billy on the other end of the phone was definitely going to have a .. great time.
His giggling surprised Tiffany, making her feel unsettled at his laugh and tone. She stepped into her room fully now, her head still pounding and her vision still blurry.
"Billy..?" Tiffany called out, mumbling and sounding as if she had just woken up. (which she technically had.)
Tiffany looked tired, the back of her head bandaged up. Her eyes looked a bit glossed over, and her gaze itself looked like she had trouble seeing. Her glasses were also crooked, as the fall bent the frame.

Camille gently grabbed her by her arms to not have her fall.
"You okay?" she asked, her voice filled with concern. " Careful, or you might fall into a dimension where Billy is i don't know... Yellow and a cannibal." she smiled, hoping her joke would land with her. Anything to lighten up the heavy mood.
She slowly reached out and held Tiffany's hand firm as the two women finally walked across the road.
"It's only I who should be falling around here." She said, eyeing up the puddle. "That's the hard part."
Tiffany's cheeks had flushed a bit, and she nodded. "Yeah, i'm okay.. just clumsy." Tiffany responded sheepishly. The joke did indeed land. "Noo!" Tiffany giggled, which turned into a snort.
Tiffany held Camilles hand back gently as they crossed the road.
The blonde gazed at Camille as she eyed the puddle, and fixed her glasses with her free hand. "How do you want to do this?" Tiffany asked softly.
"Do you want to.. um.. get a head start and walk the way you were walking from originally?" Tiffany suggested, tilting her head. She didn't really know though, she was just as confused as anyone else would be in this situation.
What were they going to do if this plan didn't work?? It made Tiffany a bit nervous, and knowing Billy was close by increased it. She was scared for Camille's safety, for both situations.

camille walked next to tiffany, noticing how quiet she went. she decided to spare her words too, as to keep and ear out for any out of the ordinary noises that could be coming from a certain someone. thankfully, he was quiet. he was stable enough to not spiral out of control.
they walked for a good ten minutes until they reached a street crossing. on the other side, right by a corner house a big frozen puddle laid.
"that's the place." camille said, nodding towards the site.
it was icy cold, with everything frozen over for days on end. she should have went with her car to school this morning, but she wanted to save up on gas. she cursed herself for her stinginess, and waited for the light to turn green as she watched her breath fog in front of herself.
Tiffanys stomach churned as they continued to walk, but the feeling settled slowly after they hadn't heard any strange noises.
The length of the walk made her feet ache a bit though, as the sidewalk wasn't exactly level due to the snow.
Once Camille spoke again, Tiffany blinked, looking up and over to the frozen puddle. She winced. "Yeowch.." She muttered under her breath, knowing Camilles fall probably hurt quite a bit. The true Canadian struggle.
As soon as the light turned green, Tiffany walked across the road, almost slipping herself. She let out a surprised sound before catching herself, letting out a disappointed sigh. "Clumsy..—" She muttered to herself, the rest of what she said jumbled up.

Billy quickly ducked to the side as not to be spotted. His eyes were glued to Tiffany, a unpleasant ache settle in his stomach. However the coldness surrounding him was a calming static thst kept him grounded.
He narrowed his eyes as he watched Tiffany looked around behind her in his general direction, however she couldn't see anything. He knew she felt eyes burning into her.
He waited till they started walking and quitely followed from the side lines. He overheard them say something about art he wasnt sure what though, however it made him remember how when he was younger he wanted to do something with art, how he loved sculpting.
He blocked out any thoughts of his past after that and focused in on their conversation. He was focused on following them to where they were going, the soft crunch of the snow beneath him his only companion in this mission.
Tiffany let out a soft sigh, glancing back behind them every now and then. "Yeah, I know.." Tiffany replied, returning the same look.
"He's-..protective..." She replied with a breathy laugh.
"Thank you, Camille." The blonde said with a smile at the reassurance of her safety. She knew that—Billy was probably the only one who didn't, but she was still grateful that Camille expressed it outloud.
Tiffany felt comfort in knowing he wanted to keep her safe. She worried about him just as much, although her ways of showing it were alot less stalker-ish.
As they continued to walk, Tiffany payed great attention to everything she could hear, but the sounds of their boots crunching against the snow drowned out any other noise. Tiffany shivered a bit, wiping her pink nose and sniffling as the cold blocked her sinuses.

Billy paused as he listened in, his thoughts raced and his head ached. He would do anything to shut his thoughts out.
He quitely leaned his head against the floor board listening in quitely, upon hearing they planned on going out he quickly moved back into a sitting position, and stood up.
He quickly walked over to some of the boxes his hands trembling slightly, he looked through it and found a brown winter coat and some other clothing for going outside in the Canadian winter.
He remembered getting ready for school when he was younger, as he got the winter clothing on, however he only grabbed a scarf, shoes, a coat, and gloves, he didn't change his old green turtle neck, or his bell bottoms.
If they were going out he'd follow them, he knew that's what he was going to do. He didn't want his pretty piggy going off with just any stranger he didn't trust.
Once Billy knew it was safe to leave the attic, he quitely snuck out of the attic and outside, hiding in the brush, and waited for the women to come outside so he could follow them....
Tiffany pulled her jacket on with a soft hum, grabbing her hat as well before she fixed her jackets collar, zipping it up. "Yeah!" She nodded, fiddling with her glasses before she opened the door, closing it behind them.
The cool air immediately hit Tiffany, her cheeks already turning red. The chill breeze brushed against her pale skin, and tussled her hair.
She was nervous, but also strangely excited. She had never imagined anything like this would happen, and Tiffany certainly thought Camille was nice company, it was unfortunate that they met in such a strange situation.
Tiffany fumbled with her jacket as they walked, pulling on it as it was a bit too tight around her chest. She placed her hands in her pockets and looked out at the snowy scenery. She had a strange feeling settle in her stomach though. The feeling of an unknown observer was clear, and burning in the back of her head.
Tiffany glanced around a bit behind them, just in case.

camille looked up at tiffany, her hearth squeezing at her question. she wanted to hug her. she knew. she knew well what was it like and though she loved him she knew he wasn't for the faint of heart. she just quickly nodded.
"it is hard... but it's worth it for me." she murmured "i wonder if there are other people... keeping an eye out for him in other dimensions." she whispered out loud.
she didn't want to think about what wold happen if he were on his own.
"fall on my butt?" she asked a bit perplexed. she let out a soft chuckle. "i mean i could try. though should we try at the same spot i fell?"
Tiffany had kind of perked up once Camille actually answered her question that she herself had dismissed. She nodded at Camilles words. It was worth it. "I think it is too.." She responded quietly.
Her eyes sparkled at the idea and infinite possibilities of others being with him as well. It kind of excited her! Her theories were right.. She had always believed in that kind of stuff.
Tiffany smiled. "We're the coolest though.." She whispered before giggling softly.
The fat woman nodded quickly at her suggestion. "Yeah! That could work!" She exclaimed, her fingers tapping quickly, she looked to her own coat, and then back to Camille. "Do you want you head out right now?" Tiffany asked, not wanting the other woman to feel rushed.
((edit; I made it pink on accident but I'm not changing it evil emoji))

Billy tightened his grip on the phone, he wanted to hit himself with it, or hit anything with it...He knew now wasn't the time
Within the next several moments Billy was about to speak, his breathing got evidently heavier. He abruptly hung up the phone and curled up in the corner.
He had a flash back of his past... "BILLY WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU, YOU LITTLE SHIT!" his mother yelled as she stomped up the stairs towards his room. His parents both knew well he was mentally ill, they called it a disease...A failure they would burden until their deaths to their own failure of a spawns hand's.. Billy was hiding in his room, he didn't know what he did to upset his mother now she was just upset...Perhaps she was drunk with that slutty boyfriend of hers, or perhaps Billy blacked out and did something again as he had in the present moment while that stranger Camile and Tiffany talked downstairs. He would never know for sure...
He snapped out of his dissociative state and quitely went to go find Claude in the dusty, and crammed attic as he listened in on the two women
Tiffany became a bit unsettled as his breathing grew heavier. She blinked as the line went dead, and she hung the phone up.
She let out a sigh, fixing her hair and fidgeting with her glasses. "It's.. hard." Tiffany mumbled.
She looked over to Camille. "Is it hard for you too? am.. I doing something wrong..?" Tiffany asked warily, biting her bottom lip before it could wobble.
She hung her head low and closed her eyes, letting out a large exhale before she straightened herself back up. "..that doesn't matter right now. Do you have any idea on how you could get .. home?" Tiffany asked, clearing her throat a bit.
"You said you fell on your butt.. maybe do that again..?" She suggested with a wince and a shrug.

camille held her breath as tiffany picked up the phone. all she could do is try to listen in on the conversation. that or try to arm herself in defense against him. she came to the realization the this billy wouldn't have that much of a busted up nose like her billy. possibly. she could never know how else this timeline differed from hers.
maybe he didn't have as much of a fucked up life as hers did. maybe he did. with how he spoke she could only assume the latter. will she need to break his nose nose again? could she even do that?
when she did the first he was just a stranger praying upon her. now that's the face of the man she loved. it's reasonable to assume that he would look like hers does, with minor differences. her heart clenched. how is he coping without her?
Tiffany's heart ached at his murmured apology. "It's okay, Billy.." She responded softly, she could hear him hold back his vulgar words, which made her proud.
She continued to listen to his heavy breathing before he requested to talk to Camille.
"No." Tiffany replied back. Her voice was still gentle, but also just as firm and serious. Her expression softened though as she understood it was probably confusing and scary for everyone involved.
"She's just lost, Billy. It'll be okay, I promise." Tiffany spoke comfortingly to the other end of the phone line.
"She's very nice.." Tiffany spoke warmly, before pausing for a moment. "I'm sorry if this is confusing, Billy. I know you heard what we were talking about—and we're scared and confused too." the blonde explained softly.
"But I know it'll be okay." She assured him. Honestly? she was assuring herself as well. Inside she was absolutely terrified, but she knew shutting down wouldn't help anything, even though it physically pained her not to just crawl into her bed and hide under the covers like she had been able to as a child.

Billy stressful chewed on the inside of his cheeks, and scratched his arms to the point where they may have been raw, he listened in on the two women down stairs, suppressing this urge that grew in him. He felt strange about Camile, she reminded him slightly of his mother strangely enough. He decided to take his mind off of everything by calling again, dull ringing was like soothing static to his ears as he quitely went over to the phone and dialed the main house line
(RING!)
(RING!)
(RING!-)
Tiffany picked up the phone and placed it against her ear, and before Billy could even let out a noise, Tiffany spoke.
"Billy.." Her voice was soft, and gentle. Tiffany felt some kind of weird comfort that she was able to speak to him in the presence of someone else without someone knowing him as 'The Moaner'.
"Are you okay..?" She asked into the phone, although she knew the jist of the most probable answer. Tiffany could only hope she could get through to her attic-dwelling boyfriend before he decided to come down and do something.. not friendly.
((2/2 for the post!!))

"no. don't be sorry. i think you are right" she said, sitting down on the couch. she rubbed her temples .
"i think... something happened to me when i fell... and i ended up here. but i don't know how or why... and now nobody knows who i am." her voice tried to remain calm. she always had a flat affect to her voice, but they were brittle now. she wasn't gonna cry though. her crying wasn't gonna solve her problem.
"tiffany... i'm so sorry i intruded into your life. i have caused you a lot of stress. but don't think i'm gonna figure out a way out of this alone. i know it's way too much to ask but will you help me?"
Tiffany listened to the auburn-haired woman speak. She felt terrible for this woman, yet her own head was pounding.
She was surprised that Camille thought she was right. She had completely expected the opposite. Her eyes widened at Camilles question.
"No, no, no!" Tiffany said quickly, putting her hands up to her chest and waving them back and forth. "Please don't be sorry at all, if what I think is true, and even if it isn't, none of this is your fault!" Tiffany comforted the woman. "I'll help you as much as I can, I'm so sorry that you're in this situation." She whispered.
Tiffany's cheeks heated up shamefully. "And—.. I'm sorry if you feel as if I'm your replacement here, I don't know what I'd do if I was in your shoes, Camille. You're so brave." Tiffany whispered. "We'll find a way to get you back to your home, I promise." Tiffany said with a confident nod. Again. The ringing.
Billy probably wasn't taking this very well. Tiffany was obviously aware he could hear them, and most likely see them as well. What was she going to do?
(( part 1/2 again teehee ))

"was that him?" Camille knew who was calling. she would forever associate him with the ring of a landline. she stepped closer to Tiffany.
"can I talk to him? did he recognize me?" she asked softly, though the anxiety could be heard in her voice.
Tiffany froze once again, glancing back to Camille. "He..hung up.." She trailed off, looking guilty and nervous. "I'm sorry-.. but I don't want to lie to you.." The blonde began, fumbling with her glasses.
"He didn't.. recognize you, but he had a few things to say about you being here.." She mumbled, her hands tapping together nervously. "..it wasn't good stuff either.." Tiffany whispered. Her eyes flickered to the stairs nervously.

I'm so sorry. I need to come in though cause I'm very cold.
-Camille
The sound from the computer startled her. Did she not turn it off?? ..
She glanced at the message and blinked away a few tears, rubbing them away.
Oh no!
She clicked on the notification and her computer powered back on fully..How weird.
Tiffany is Online.
So sorry!!!
- Tiff! ❤️
Tiffany left the computer once again, although she was dreading seeing this woman. She opened the door to her room, bracing herself for anything as she fumbled down the stairs, fixing her glasses as she opened the front door.

Alright, let me tell you what I know. When I went to classes this morning I woe up in my room (which iss now your room) and said goodbye to everyone at home, which were Jess, Barb, Phyll and Billy. I had my morning classes normal but when walking home I slipped and fell on my bum. The strange thing is I saw a quick flash of light in my vision. And everything was the same, yes? But then I come home and everything is... off. And you are here.
-Camille
Tiffany let out a few shaky breaths, reading the message over and over. She mentioned him again.
Billy. Billy.
HOW did she know about him? Her friends? Why did this woman say she woke up in her bed??
Tiffany took off her glasses , slamming them against her desk in a confused and frustrated rage. Angry, scared tears fell down onto the keyboard. Why was this woman saying all of this stuff? She couldn't do this, She couldn't. She couldn't. She couldn't.
The faint and hallucinative smell came back. The Whiskey, God the fucking whiskey.
She put her glasses on, her vision still blurry from the tears, shaking as she began to type again.
I'm so sorry I don't know what's going on
I can't do this I'm sorry
I'm sorry I want to help but I can't right now, I'm sorry
I promis. I'll get backtoyou later
It was like she went on autopilot. It hadn't even registered in her brain what she typed before she hit reply.
She turned the computer off as she began to hyperventilate, catching herself and calming herself down.
Tiffany is Offline.

Billy Lenz? the guy that lives in the attic
-Camille
No.
Who was this woman?? How did she know about him?? Tiffany's heart rate went up to dangerous levels as she typed as fast she could.
She can't blow his cover, even if this person already knows.
I think we'd know if someone lived in the attic!! 😅
I'm sorry if I sound a bit rude or it seems like I'm implying that you're a liar, but this is definitely freaking me out!! 😓😓 I'm not sure if I did something —or if he did something—
but if this is a joke, it isn't funny 🙁
- From, Tiffany
