I’ve definitely been having a lot of blorbo dreams lately.

I think… I think I had three in a row?

1. Kara & I were at this kinda fancy 1-story house with a pool? I fell in the pool, swam & left it on the other side, and there was this club there?? Like, it was a competition where people drew and did performances based on their art or something? But I felt self-conscious because I did MS Paint art so I left… and also I had déjà vu from an older dream that said that place was evil, which is also a valid reason to leave. Anyways, I swam back in the pool, & pathetically crawled back into the house & in room where Kara was sitting on the couch? And he just had this comical expression of confusion on him. Like, he didn’t care his wife was drenched & was crawling on the floor like an injured bug. He was just baffled. And I told him, WHILE still crawling on the floor “if anyone comes looking for me, tell them I’m not here”, and he was just like “…okay-“.

2. I guess I really wanted to go to California for this one specific Starbucks. But I turned into Hawks at some point(??), and I almost forgot I was there for Starbucks until I flew over the Starbucks and I was like “shit! I should get that Starbucks!”. But the Starbucks only had like… juice and those protein cracker packs? Anyways, I then realized I could fly to Disneyland like that (Disneyland and I have some serious beef in my dreams), but I fucking wOKE UP BEFORE I GOT THERE-

And 3. I was with this group of people? And we were in what was supposed to be a “DHMIS Inspired Escape Room”. Except the room took place outside… and it was themed after a schoolyard or something… and a monster rabbit was involved… & I’m 90% sure we were supposed to actually die. Barely actually DHMIS themed, but I’m pretty sure I saw Red Guy at one point.

Hmm… I feel like its been a LONG while since I’ve talked about Hawks… so let’s change that!

(I saw that you sent another ask with Sea Wasp, so I’m gonna answer that in here too-)

[CRYSTAL JELLYFISH] ~ How does Hawks act in public, and how does that compare to how he acts when we’re in private?

In public, Hawks has an incredibly casual demeanor; he’s snarky, playful, and real damn charismatic. When fighting in public, he’ll instantly become serious at the flip of a switch… for the most part; even then he’ll still make some quips. When we’re in public together, that doesn’t really change.

When we’re in private? That playful side of him is definitely still there, but he also lets himself relax the mask a bit. He has more moments when he’s quiet or reflective, or when he vents with serious or concerning conversation. To some others, that might not sound like the most romantic thing, but it took a lot of time and trust for him to start lowering his guard around me in that way, and I appreciate the fact it happened at all.

-He also displays a lot more physical affection when we’re in private, since that means there aren’t as many eyes on us. The dude just loves to hold me & cuddle with me.-

Hawks is 5’7, while I’m 5’2, so our difference is by 5 inches!

[MOON JELLYFISH] ~ If I had to compare Hawks to a celestial body, what would I use?

I worry it’s a basic answer, but I feel like Mars just fits him! It’s mainly due to the colors; in some photos the planet matches his uniform, and in other photos the colors match his wings! The planet being named after the Roman god of war also adds to it though, since Hawks is a master fighter.

[SEA WASP JELLYFISH] ~ When I feel insignificant, how does he help me? And how do I help him in his moments?

Hawks will always take these things oddly seriously, compared to his usual demeanor. He’ll reassure me that I do matter, and he’ll start listing of examples of why I do. He might make a lightheartedly snarky comment here and there, like lovingly/teasingly asking how I could think I’m useless when I did [insert thing here], but outside of that it’s pretty straightforward.

I guess I do essentially the same thing for him, really. I remind him of how important he is to me, and obviously how important he is to everyone around him; no matter what happens to him, that’s not going to change. I try not to be snarky tho; I guess that’s the only difference between us.

So I technically do have AUs for them, but I don’t really flesh them out that much. They’re usually just fun concepts I like to space out about from time to time!

I used to have this Sleeping Beauty AU with Journals and Sniper that I absolutely ADORED back in the day! Basically, as revenge for us not inviting him to the Halloween party, Merasmus trapped us in lil fake worlds based on our costumes; Snipes and I got stuck in Corporate-Rat’s Sleeping Beauty, as you could imagine. Nowadays, I’ve become more fond of a Beauty and the Beast styled AU for them. I just... his owl head man... that’d be so damn fun-

Let’s see… I’ve had a few thoughts about Faux Berry Cookie being in the Cookies of Darkness, but I don’t even know what her role would be lmao. OOH!! I love the idea of Daydream being part of the League of Villains- That’s more of a self-insert AU than a specifically self-ship AU, but there is some good self-ship plot with Hawks hidden in there~ There’s been slight ideas for Hex Maniac Liberty becoming a GO Rocket leader, or for Libby SOMEHOW getting wrapped up in Gary & Monarch’s “Blue Morpho” affair.

I also have, like, a TON of AU ideas shelved for Karamatsu and Freedom, and all of them exist because of the Hesokuri Wars sets. I used to have one with a friend for the Alice in Wonderland set; Karamatsu was still the White Rabbit and Freedom was one of the singing roses! I wanna bring that one back, but with Freedom having one of the book characters assigned to her. Ugh, and we had a Mafia AU for them ABWKANWKE (Freedom was a jazz singer at a bar lmaaaaooo). I’ve had an Angel AU for Kara, a Grim Reaper AU, a Vampire AU (he was a traditional vampire and she was, like, a dream vampire?? It was pretty sick actually-), and I was in the development of a Greek Mythos AU a while back… but I ended up dropping it. If it counts as an AU too, I’ve fleshed out her role for the Calming Detective skits; she would’ve been his gold-digger wife RIP

Whew, i'm a bit nervous, this is the first time i send an ask here but hello everyone! Here's my question: Do all of you get along? It seems like a lot of you are close friendss which is great, but i wonder if there's ever any fighting or rivlary between any of you?☆

Well hey, thanks for sending us something! There’s no need to be shy though; we’re happy to talk!

We do all get along, at least mostly! Actually, the relationship’s kinda built to be like that! See, before Liberty even asks anyone out, she’ll introduce them to us so we can meet them! She’ll ask us what we think of them, like if we’re comfortable with them joining us or if we noticed any major red flags. Luckily for us, she has pretty good taste, if I do say so myself!

Of course, some of us get along more than others. I think that everyone here has noticed how inseparable Goku and Rengoku are, but I’ve also noticed how often Dr. Stein and Dr. Flug collaborate. Not to mention Gundham and Red Velvet crossing over their war efforts, Dororo and 2D having their random talks about society, and so on. The point is, most of us have our own duos or trios we default to when we’re all together. I personally stick with Sniper or Stein.

Despite us being all peachy though, there’s still some rivalries, most of which are started by Flug or Licorice. Licorice and Gundham had their lil’ asserting dominance deal for a while, and I still think Flug sometimes wants my wings on a mantle. Licorice might be trying to start something with Karamatsu, but I don’t think Karamatsu’s gonna care that much. Either that, or he won’t even notice. So yeah, we have our disagreements; I guess it’s inevitable when ya have such a big group of people. But hey, most of the time it’s pretty relaxed, or pretty fun.

Man, Libs must’ve had one rough day today. She came back home super exhausted and just immediately crashed on the couch.

Sasha’s been with her ever since. It’s been oddly quiet over there though; I have a suspicion that they’ve been telepathically talking or something.

Anyways, I decided to get some food for Rengoku and I, and I may or may not’ve brought back a churro for Libs. As soon as I asked whether or not she wanted it, she perked her head up and got it. She’s definitely in a better mood now.

That woman, I swear. She’s so ridiculous… I love her so much.

Ya know what I think is cute?

The fact that Hawks’s fanbase is so damn supportive. Like, his fans are supposed to be exaggerations/parodies of fan culture, but they’re not really portrayed as super possessive or jealous when other characters are seen with him. At least, as far as I know. I haven’t seen every single piece of MHA content after all. And like, I know that they’ve carried Hawks and Tokoyami away before at the airport, but that was not only a gag, but also a sign of them being excited rather than being hostile or possessive over Hawks. Does that make sense? Ya know, they probably still shouldn’t do that lmao, but it wasn’t out of bitter intent.

And then there’s that phone call. Ya know, when a bunch of fangirls see Hawks flying around while on the phone? The fans start wondering if he’s talking to his girlfriend, and Hawks HEARD THEM and gave this lil sly expression to hint that he might be. And I heard none of them get upset or jealous or anything. They just got excited over the possible tea lmao.

Anyways, my entire point in writing this is that his fanbase would TOTALLY support us being together. Though I’m sure there’d be people lightheartedly lamenting about “how lucky I am” (which makes sense because I AM very lucky), I think they’d dig it! They’d talk about how cute we were, or they’d happily ask me what it’s like to be with him, or they’d just wanna take photos of us together! Sure, they’d be incredibly nosy, but I just can’t see the majority of his fans being bitter that we’re together. And something about that is just sweet to me, idk why.

👀Drama👀 ~ What’s a lil fun secret/quirk of Hawks’s?: So… Hawks’s wings get all sortsa poofy when showering- Like, ya know how birds roll around and shake their wings during bathing? It’s kinda like that, tho Hawks does it much less dramatically lmao. It apparently just takes a lotta work for him to keep his wings clean though. He’s gotta poof them out, he’s gotta stretch them out, and sometimes he has to wash individual feathers! In fact, since we end up showering together often, there’s been times when he’s flicked/stretched his wings so quick that they’ve accidentally whacked me in the face. No hard feelings though, of course, because it’s funny-

💥Bang!💥 ~ What’s my favorite mundane thing to do with Hawks?: SLEEPING! DEFINITELY SLEEPING! And ESPECIALLY when he’s all cuddled up into my chest. He just has the cutest lil sleeping face, and the SOFTEST hair, which is great for mindlessly stroking btw. Sometimes, depending on what position we sleep in, he’ll wrap his wings around me; it’s so damn cozy that I barely even need a blanket at that point. Hiya ss-slep, thanks for sending an ask!! Unfortunately, the site’s been refusing to let me add videos lately, so I’ll be breaking the ask-game’s theme a bit today... AKA the answer’s gonna be typed instead of spoken. But hey, I’ll still happily answer!!

(Question 12 revolves around fandom-interpretations of my F/Os, specifically which interpretations bother me)

I suppose I should start this off by saying, at the end of the day, interpretations that I disagree with don’t really bother me! Of course some of them are... interesting, but for the most part I don’t really care. Sometimes fanon stuff’s really good tho; Fanon Sniper, for instance, is a literal blessing.

Though… I still have a couple things that bother me, or at least confuse me. I guess my main thing is the fact that Dr. Stein x Medusa is such a popular ship lmao. Does that count as an interpretation or HC? I have no idea, but I’m putting it here anyways. That’s like, the only thing that genuinely bothers me a bit. There’s minor things that make me sad when I think about them though, like the fact Miss Pauling has such little content (outside of shipping) that I don’t even have any interpretations to disagree with. The OW Fandom seems to sometimes ignore/forget how smart Lúcio is too 😔. Oh, and the BNHA fandom really likes to portray Hawks as… inhumanly thirsty… which I CAN NOT see fitting him, but I find that more funny than anything so-
