🐋As a child, Jinbei never consider himself a troublemaker. The last thing he would do is make mischief around his surroundings. Other Fish-children often get chased by adults. Jinbei is no exception. He lends a hand to those who need it.🐋

🐋Jinbei doesn't mind the rain. Given the fact he's a fishman with justice, the rainwater wouldn't bother him at all. In fact, stormy weather makes him strong. His fishman karate skills will be boosted tenfold. Anyone who dared face him, will be washed out by the waves.🐋

🐋FEH Spring Jinbei Headcanon🐋

🐋As a unit blessed by warmth of Spring, Jinbei enters into battle, axe in hand. Verdant Tomahawk not only speeds up Special acceleration, it also grants him a Distant Counter effect and neutralizes penalties towards his Defense and Resistance. With his stats, he can rival the likes of Dorcas and Osian, even if Jinbei's blessed with Speed. Glimmer is at 1, ensuring Jinbei giving an advantage. Null-C Disrupt stops any Wrathful/Dazzling Staff users and Firesweep users. Defense Smoke makes him a dangerous opponent if players aren't careful.

Counters

🐋As an axe infantry unit, he is strong during his turn. But when it come to the Red meta, he is weak. Despite his resistance, he is easy prey for red mages. Sanaki, Lilina, Lysithea, and Hoshidan Summer Micaiah are major threats. Speedy sword users like Larcei can and will destroy him despite having good bulk. Some can quad attack Brave Swords such as Altina.🐋

Skill Inheritance

🐋Vantage is a must if Jinbei wants to survive. Distant Foil/Ward is inconsistant given the fact his tomahawk's at the ready. Fury 4 can be helpful at a cost of HP. He can swap Null-C Disrupt for Null Follow-Up to sneak past Quick Riposte and Wary Fighter. Bonfire/Ignis or Iceberg/Glacies is a better option if not focusing on attack. Noontime can be grately abused to self-sustain healing. If players are perky, he can run Galeforce. He can be a deceptive ploy user if one desired. The only Assist skill missing is Reposition.🐋

🐋Jinbei can sometimes be blunt to a degree. But he wouldn't dare say anything to insult or be insensitive. Lying will make him very uncomfortable and it'll describe him as an individual who can't be trusted. He rather be neutral and be soft-spoken. In a most polite way possible.🐋

🐋Jinbei sometimes can speak to tiny sea creatures who are smaller than him. He can even hear a live starfish laughing at a joke. He can chat with seahorses flitting about in the ocean floor. As a fishman, he is aware of all surroundings.🐋

🐋FE Heroes Headcanon🐋

🐋As a seasonal unit, Valentines Day Jinbei entered battle as an Infantry Red tome unit. His weapon, the Tome of Devotion not only inflicts Guard on the start of turn, but also convert penalties into bonuses to help his allies survive. With middling speed, he is slightly powercrept by the likes of speedier Red meta. Bracing Blow makes him a tank when he makes a move on foes. Savage Blow inflicts splash damage after combat.🐋

Counters

🐋Being a Red unit makes him vulnerable to blue units. Guinivere instantly nukes him with Aureola. Reinhardt, Olwen, Ophelia, Male Robin, and Delthea can be very problematic. Bulky blues like Effie and Ephraim can withstand his attack and retaliate with such aggression.🐋

Skill Inheritence

🐋Jinbei's kit is incomplete and needed to be full. Chill skills are a must to weaken opponents. Moonbow/Luna can ignore the defense/resistance. Harsh Command is inconsistant so Reposition will be better. Slot C skills are open to Hones, Waves, Stat ploys, and Stat smokes.🐋

🐋If Jinbei were born at the sea, but was looked after by Monkey D. Garp, he would've met Luffy and his brothers. Like Ace, Jinbei will keep the boy in the strawhat out of harm's way (and from Garp's own punishments). Heck, he will keep the brothers safe from harm. Not as a little nakama, but a guardian nakama.🐋

🐋Jinbei is different from all people from Fódlan. Like Claude, he is an outsider. A traveler in a distant land. When Byleth recruited him, Jinbei gets along with her students from a chosen house. 🐋After dealing with Hody thanks to Luffy and his crew, Jinbei declined his request to join the Strawhats. Once he fulfilled his duties, he will ask Luffy if he can be the next nakama. Luffy himself said he better hold up to the promise. Jinbei is grateful.🐋

🐋After helping the lost sea kitten and before meeting Wadatsumi, Jinbei suddenly arrived in Fódlan and helped out a mercenary named Byleth restore peace. After the war, Jinbei bid farewell and returned back to the pirate world before meeting up with Charlotte Linlin.🐋

Headcanon

🐋Jinbei is not very prone to eat sweet food. As a child training in karate, he doesn't let the temptation win him over concerning sweets. Candy, chocolate, the latter will drive any child of the sea up on a wall. He eats a small portion. That is all. No more. He drinks plenty of water afterwards.🐋
