As he saw you walk away with another man, arm in arm, you couldn't help but wonder why didn't he stop you two, because Erwin and you didn't sync at all, personality wise. But Levi? Ever since the accidental kiss you two shared, you're all he thought about, and he was all that you thought about. You were the light in his life that was shrouded in darkness, and he was the escape that you needed from your harsh reality. Many people loved him, and many people judged each other for loving him and claiming him to be theirs, but as you turned to him while you were walking away with Erwin, the languages that your eyes spoke said a thousand words to each other than flattery ever could. You two were truly in love in a world full of facades.

As you two sat on the table, writing your notes, you turned your head up to look a him, all clad in black, carrying an air of rebellion around him, yet trying his best to study with all he got. As he turned to you, you looked down, and he notices you mentally steadying yourself, and a wry smile appears on his face. He was unsure whether he was doing this because he wanted to graduate, or because he wanted to see you happy.

As you stare into his eyes, with the sun setting down, with calming music playing in the background, your hands were intertwined. You put your face on his chest as if you were hearing his heartbeat, and with a couple of deep breaths, you thought to yourself how lucky you were that you got each other, even if the world was supposed to fall apart.

As you two parted ways, with the distance increased by the pacing of your footsteps, you thought of the circumstances that had been driving you apart: being with the wrong person, not being in the right state of mind, parents not wanting you to be together. With your hearts beating faster, you turn around and run to each other and envelope each other in your arms, because you couldn't afford to stay apart.
