I’m Shuichi Saihara, the Ultimate Detective (despite not feeling worthy of that title just yet). And no, that is not a joke.

This blog is for my thoughts regarding.. well, being a fictionkin of Shuichi.

I have a LOT of memories, a majority of them fairly vivid. In my canon, the killing game was a simulation and everybody ended up surviving.

I am a minor, so please keep that in mind. However, I’m okay with adults interacting. Just don’t be weird and we’ll be fine

I am also an age regressor, so sometimes that may pop up too. Yes, I did regress during the killing game. Obviously I didn’t make a show of it, but it happened. My age range tends to be 3-4

Here’s some details about me, specifically about my fictionkin experience

I am a feminine transmasc, he/him, both in real life and in my canon.

Also, I never took off my hat. I did get better at making eye contact though!

In my canon, the killing game lasted a lot longer than the video game makes it seem. There were more than just a few days in between “chapters”, and the time between murders was more like 2-3 weeks long. Therefore the killing game itself lasted 3 or 4 months.

Also, the killing game was not real, as said before. Therefore a large portion of time was spent in the hospital, mentally and physically recovering from the trauma. Everybody survived.

After every participant in the killing game was deemed healthy enough and relatively mentally stable (keyword relatively), we were all moved to an apartment complex to live together. Everybody got their own room, but staying over at someone’s was very, very common

(yes, even Tsumugi was there, she saw the flashback light at the beginning of the game too. She was just unlucky enough to be chosen as mastermind. Please don’t hate her. We actually became really good friends)

I don’t think I had any “ships”, so to speak. Not even Kaede-chan, despite popular fandom belief. She was just a very close friend.

I think I had the strongest friendships with Kaito, Shinguji-san, Harukawa-chan, Kirumi, and Gonta-kun. I also found Ouma-kun fun and interesting (in a good way)

How can timelords identify each other? They are very humanoid looking, how do they separate themselves from humans? How would this work for someone who is human-timelord?

How do Time Lords identify each other?

🧠 Telepathic

Time Lords have a sort of built-in instinct that allows them to sense other Time Lords, like a psychic gaydar. This ability functions across a planet-wide distance. It's not something they consciously control; it's more like a subtle, background signal in their brain that tells them, there's another Time Lord nearby. This sense can be dulled or blocked, but under normal conditions, it's on point.

👃 Smell

Interestingly, Time Lords can also identify each other by scent. This isn't like a human's sense of smell—it's far more refined. Time Lords can detect unique chemical signatures/pheromones that differentiate Gallifreyans from humans. However, this ability is limited by distance, so it's not the most reliable method unless they're physically close to one another and there's nothing overpoweringly stinky nearby.

Another feature is their ability to identify each other on sight (most of the time, awkward sometimes.). Time Lords can see time, so they see distinct ante/chronitons, artron oxidants or other particles (eg. bockatrons, harminums) in the other Time Lord's biofields, which look like a kind of 'slithery mist' around them.

🔮 Psychokinetic Energy Detection

In addition to these, Time Lords can detect psychokinetic energies—the kind of energy that fluctuates during intense mental or emotional stress, particularly when someone is using psychic abilities. This is especially useful for identifying other Time Lords when they're engaging in psychic warfare or intense mental activities, as Time Lords naturally give off more psychokinetic energy than humans.

🧬 How Does This Work for Human-Time Lord Hybrids?

For a Human-Time Lord hybrid, it's possible that some of these abilities would be less effective. A hybrid might have a weaker version of the telepathic instinct, only able to sense others at a much shorter range. Their ability to smell or perceive artron energy could also be less precise, though still present. The detection level would depend on the balance of Gallifreyan vs. human DNA in their makeup and what traits they've inherited.

Inez knows logically that the Vice department will not be able to help her much in this case… but she also knows she wishes to speak with her friend Ricki about this mess before she speaks with anyone else. The abandoned baby, found behind the bar she worked at, is cradled in Inez’s arms as carefully as she had cradled Mateo when he was an infant. The little girl has stopped crying a while ago, lulled to rest in the comfortable familiarly of Inez’s rocking gait. She is not very old… tossed in a cardboard box by a dumpster before she barely has her eyes open, her mother vanishing into the ether somewhere. It breaks Inez’s heart, that this small child could be tossed aside so casually… but she knows it happens far, far too often. So many people in this world have no respect for its smallest and most vulnerable members. Her train of thought is interrupted by Ricki approaching her—the front desk said they would call down, and tell the Vice detective that her friend is waiting. Inez volunteered nothing else… mostly because she is not sure how to explain this situation without rambling to extraordinarily long lengths. It is better if Ricki just comes and sees everything for herself. “Rickita!” Inez hurries forward to greet her friend. “I was afraid you’d be out on a case! I need your help! I got a… well… a special delivery last night after work, while I was taking the trash out.” She carefully held the baby out for Ricki to see. “I need to take her to a hospital yet, but I wanted to talk to you first. I didn’t want to explain this to just any police officer. You know as well as I do how dicey that can be here in Miami.”
