so in my selfship with him, he builds me a little butterfly garden / conservatory at his mansion :’) he knows how much i love them & flowers so he surprised me with it !! it’s my favorite place to go and whenever he’s gone on official business, i like to stay in there and read or write.

i adore that he’s a little gardener (running with this in my selfship x10) … i love that he planned on restoring his island into something a little more habitable and i’d like to believe we do that together :’) & perona ofc !! i’d imagine he made zoro help while he was there , who knows …

💭 who daydreamed about the other more often? what did they think about most?

mihawk honestly daydreamed about me a lot! i was like a puzzle he needed to figure out and while we traveled together, he couldn’t help but think of what would happen if we didn’t have to part. whenever he’d tuck himself away with a book or sipping on a glass of wine after a long day, his thoughts would land on me. at first he thinks i’m a nuisance LOL but he grows very fond of me :’)

of course, i daydreamed about him a lot as well. how could i not? he’s so dreamy >_< i’d daydream about him whisking me away to his mansion and him protecting me and keeping me safe… all for it to eventually happen anyway hehe

🚫 what was holding you/them back from making a move or confessing your feelings?

the dangers of him being a warlord kept him from being true to his feelings. he had his whole life figured out and then i came along and the thought of fully letting me in really spooked him. eventually he gets over it but for awhile he kept me at arms length because he needed to figure it all out and how he could keep me safe.
