ariana giggles softly as they roll around on the pile of sleeping bags underneath them. the only thing protecting them to the hard ground beneath their tent. her fingers run though evan's hair lovingly as they share a heated kiss. "wait, wait...i want to ride you." she smiles again, gently biting her bottom lip as she pushes him back down. throwing her leg over his, she straddles him. hand wrapped around his length to give him a few strokes before lining him and sinking down onto him. soft moan leaving her lips as she began to rock her hips.

arie and parker's friendship was still knew and part of her was convinced the other was only in it to get in her pants but she didn't know for sure. she also felt wrong for assuming such so she was willing to see where the friendship went. so far it's bee good. though she did feel guilty that the other seemed to fail to inform her father was arie's presence in the house.

"well, parker is asleep so unless i'm having a chat with you i don't see much of a chat happening." she chuckled. "but yes, i'll probably be awake a little longer. i struggle to fall asleep in new places."

historically, bradley hadn't really been involved in the social lives of his kids--there were far more relevant facets that he'd needed to focus on. their education, physical health, other things of the like. perhaps he did need to put more effort into combing through their friendships, as well.

"am i to assume you're going to be awake for a while longer? a bit of late night chatter is necessary for any sleepover, isn't it?"

Fin was trying to open up to people around them. They knew it was an issue with them and that's why people didn't stick around but the mind was a fucking enemy sometimes. "If you want to throw in some M&M's, I'm fine with that - whatever you want since you're the one getting out of bed for this."

honestly, ariana isn't sure why she never told her parents they broke up. maybe because they seemed to praise the other so much and she didn't want to disappoint them. it had only been a couple of months, nothing crazy and the two were on decent of terms. case in point, her reaching out to them and them agreeing to meet up.

spoon digging into her ice cream, she kept her eyes down before speaking. "okay, so this is a little embarrassing to admit but..." a deep breath. "i may have forgotten to tell my parents about our split and they'd like you do come to their new years party. well, they expect you to come as my...date."

"can we please just put a pin in this damn conversation for the night." ariana just wanted to collapse into bed and sleep for eternity. expect they are still a few hours away from home even with driving for the last nine hours. the last two of which were filled with arguments. the two ready to settled into different rooms cause clearly nothing was being resolved, only to be informed that there was only one room left. "couple hours of sleep and we can go home and just say fuck it, okay?"

ariana doesn't have a lot of experience. sure, she's kissed a few people and had one relationship but that's about it. she's never gotten far with anyone. it never felt completely right and that's what you're suppose to feel right? like it all makes sense. so moving forward with evan or rafe seemed to be a bit of a challenge for her. knowing that at least rafe, and she's sure evan, have seen plenty of action. what if she didn't live up to what they wanted from her? plus, they've both made moves. they've all flirted. what was the outcome for the three of them? was it possible to have a relationship like that work? it takes her a moment to register that both rafe and evan have no turned to look at her, a blush painting her cheeks. "oh, uh.." her eyes shift back over to the bed before back to evan. "i mean, it's one night right? how much harm can sharing a bed be?"

"oh you have no idea." rafe teases, chuckling softly. he moves back over to the pair, throwing an arm over evan's shoulders as his eyes gaze at arie. "plus, i saw a nice little dive bar i thought we could hit up before bed. maybe wear ourselves out before coming back?" rafe offered and arie preaked up a bit. a drink would calm her nerves a little. "i also saw a little historic district if we want to explore a bit?" she adds, focusing on both boys as she sets her stuff down.

"uh a few weeks. i just moved to town for college and we ran into each other at a coffee shop. she complimented my earrings and then we just got to chatting." well parker got to flirting and each line had ariana blushing like no tomorrow. don't get her wrong, arie knew that she was an attractive woman but having so much attention on her made her squirm. they traded numbers and kept in touch quite often. though, this was the first time that ariana had been to her home. they usually hung out on campus or out and about doing something. parker has graced her apartment once so far.

"i hope you don't mind if i stayed. i can um head out if it's an issue." arie didn't want to be a bother, let alone rock the boat of the household if her presence was an issue.

he was inclined to believe her. best to give someone the benefit of the doubt, correct? that was the opposite of what he'd told his kids, but something he thoroughly believed when it came to his own interactions. he liked to think of himself as a decent judge of character.

where did this one come from? perhaps she was truly just a friend of parker's--but that made him wonder what qualities this woman had that led to his daughter focusing on her enough to bring her home. another thought crossed his mind. he didn't want to second guess his own daughter, but he did had the looming question. "--and how long have you been friends with my daughter?"
